Visit Harvest for a long lunch on the cool verandah, sample the bespoke weekly changing Wild Harvest menu at night (which is created after a day foraging in the Hinterland) or enjoy a traditional country breakfast at the weekend.
Harvest has received multiple accolades over the years including a hat in the Good Food Guide 2019 and Best Small List (50 Wines) by Gourmet Traveller Wine 2018.
Amazing spot for lunch. The food was incredible and the staff were so lovely.
Great food, great wine list. I hope they do not try and turn tables over by delivering food too fast. The beauty of harvest is the languid long lunch. Don't spoil that atmosphere and environment and pacing - especially on a Sunday - by delivering food before drinks for instance.
The atmosphere was bubbly and loud, I should have asked for a table by the edge of the veranda as this impacted the enjoyment of my meal. I ordered the pork dish, which I was told had been aged to tenderise and also cooked in a water of sorts to tenderise. I found it under cooked, and the salad greens were nice but the salad was not amazing. The chat potatoes were of but the sauce was delicious. The kanagroo was served basically blue. I waited a long time for my second lot of drinks despite there being three wait staff attending to a new table set up, and the drink i ordered was incorrect as well, and so after waiting a long time I had to send it back and wait an extra long time as they took ages to finally bring me the correct version of my beverage.
Fantastic creative food, well priced, good wine list, lovely service. We’ll be back soon!
The freshest tastiest oysters I’ve had in a long long time. Each course of the set menu was full of wonderful flavour combinations. No course disappointed. The cocktail & the wine complimented the meal. Even my coffee ( which is often a disappointment ) was very satisfying.
All in all a delightful untrusted experience that set off a perfect Valentines Day. Thank you.
Awesome food and atmosphere.
Farm to table food so super fresh and yummy
It would be great to get more diabetic friendly options. Almost everything comes with bread, I know they are a bakery. Other than that it was excellent.
Well worth a visit, food was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more attentive.
Out standing service but the food was average. Pleasant enough but nothing outstanding for the price.
Beautiful view, amazing food and outstanding, friendly service. Thanks for the experience, xx
Wonderful as always. Friday offer was not available anymore due to being out of oysters so maybe make it early.
Everything was superb. From initial greeting, table, ambience, background music, service, value for money and the food was some of the best we have eaten. Delicious, beautifully presented, perfect portions. The wind was excellent and value for money. This experience would cost considerably more in Sydney
Beautiful free flowing layout with grand open windows allowing for fresh airflow. The food was spectacular, amazing flavours and serving size.
Service was exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Delicious fresh food, though portions were a little small for my liking.
Loved it loved it loved it. Too bad I live 10 hours drive away.
Our first and only visit to Harvest unfortunately. We had heard such good things but were sadly disappointed. The service was terrible, disinterested and inattentive - it was almost as if they felt we were an inconvenience to their day. For the price of the meal ($200 without alcohol) I would have expected a lot more. Beautiful restaurant sadly let down by their staff
We arrived for Breakfast at 8am. The restaurant was lovely and quiet, and the food, drinks and service were exceptional. We love going to Harvest for breakfast, lunch and dinner and recommend it to many of our friends and family but selfishly don't want too many people to hear about it either ;-)
We had a brilliant lunch enjoying the local produce with the Australian twist sitting on the deck enjoying the light breeze. The customer service was great and the choice of food and beverage excellent. We celebrated our 33 year wedding anniversary in a very enjoyable and memorable way. Thank you Harvest.
I had a beautiful lunch with my Mum 24/1. I wish I could remember the females name that served us, but unfortunately I can't. I also recognised her from Footbridge in Brunswick, before she worked at Harvest.
She brought a real warmth to the restaurant. Our lunch was made because of her warmth, her conversation and her attentiveness.
We absolutely loved our lunch and we will be coming more often! Thank you, Rikki
The staff were exceptional with so much knowledge of food & beverages, we were very impressed.
The service was very attentive and the food was lovely and fresh but not super special. Flavours were fairly simple and not particularly creative but we enjoyed the atmosphere.
The most beautiful food and exceptional service. It was a total pleasure to enjoy such special dishes in such a
relaxed setting. I would liken it to eating in a friend’s well-located weekender, if your friends were foragers, wine aficionados, experts in local produce, and chefs!
Unbelievable experience all round. A must try! Sustainable and local foods, delicious wine list. And don’t skip dessert!
The team are always so warm, friendly and really go above and beyond.
The food is always incredible (I treat myself to a tasting menu and wine pairing), unique and always pushes the limited of creative dining.
Flavours were good but really not good value particularly when marketed as share plates. Would have expected a whole cauliflower for the price charged and both the fish and pork were over done. Disappointing...
I love Harvest! The food, the staff, the location and atmosphere.
Staff very knowledgeable about the ingredients and cooking process. Very impressed with Megan.
Food was interesting and full of flavour. Will recommend.
Truly one of the most amazing dining experiences of my life! My partner and I went for our anniversary and from the moment we stepped inside we were treated with outstanding service and kindness.
The food was delicate yet decadent and walking through the gardens was absolutely enchanting.
We loved that the forager came by our table to show us some of the ingredients he had picked for the meals that night.
Alex, our server, was wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable. Nathan, the manager, made our night one of the most special anniversaries.
Great food - interesting and innovative. Lovely ambiance but a bit noisy
Right from the beginning we were welcomed by personable and attentive staff. The venue is beautiful and comfortable. The menu selections are varied, yet consistently well-presented and delicious. Very happy with our evening at Harvest!
Lots of good reasons todine at Harvest for a special occasion. But on a very hot day there was no ice in the sparkling water so it was tepid. Also very expensive.
-Great food but service a little disappointing the wine pairing not great and time between courses went from too quick to too long
Food was delicious with fresh and best ingredients.
Service was attentive and knowledgeable. We will return and recommend to friends
Exceptional food and service, great atmosphere would highly recommend
Amazing food, great service and a really beautiful location. One of the best in the area!
Such an amazing dining experience, certainly would recommend
Delicious food and great service. Very professional and friendly.
Meal and our server were excellent. Had a huge issue with our booking as they said weeks before we arrived that dogs could sit on the terrace and we made the booking with a request for the balcony seating but when we arrived we were told our dog had to be tied up outside of sit on a small bench with walk ins out front. Wouldn’t recommend going if you have a dog. The actual verandah inside the restaurant looked lovely though.
Always a pleasure dining at this landmark restaurant.
Beautiful food, idillic setting and friendly service. Highly recommended and a must do.
