Great lunch in every respect 👍👍🍾🥂🍷Could have settled in for the whole afternoon
We just loved this place. Fresh food - great staff - great atmosphere. The lamb (for two) was huge! and so tender.
Great food, friendly service and the most gorgeous location - perfection
The set menu was ordinary for the price. While tasty, it did not inspire a return visit
Service was nice and the waiters were very friendly and easy to deal with, but unfortunately the food was horrible. Most of the dishes were close to not being edible and the prices being charged for what was served up was disgraceful. I definitely would not recommend harvest to anyone, I felt robbed after I had left for the amount I payed and what I got, it was a stain on an otherwise good weekend at Byron. Will not be back
beautiful meal excellent service explained the menu and where they source their produce from, could not fault the meal exceptional quality and great staff
Fabulous setting, fabulous food, entirely delightful!
They champion local ingredients in a paddock to the plate way.
Thoroughly recommend the matching wine option as Sommelier Sam does a remarkable job with some really spot on and interesting matches.
Great value for both day and evening occasions....did I mention the bread?
Place not be missed when you in Byron. Must visit place.
Beautiful setting, excellent service and creative menu.
As a group of four, we ate at Harvest two years ago, and the food was outstanding, five stars all around. We ate there again as a group of four a few days ago, and while the food was good, all agreed it wasn't outstanding this time, especially for the cost.
Staff were awesome
Service was slow
Food interesting but serves too small
Prices were unexpectedly high
Nice food, lovely setting, decent coffee. Don’t miss the gardens down the back!
Why do I need 2 say anything else.. score says it all
Such a lovely place in a quaint small town. Excellent food and menu choices.
It’s quite difficult to find a restaurant that offers impeccable food, fabulous wait staff and great ambience. This is what you experience at Harvest - the attention to detail, the quality and creativity of the food is extraordinarily.
Beautifully presented food in a simple yet stylish environment
The ambience was lovely. Quaint setting. The food was very disappointing. The Jerusalem artichokes were inedible, the fish very ordinary and over salted, side dishes underwhelming. The smoked flavor was overused in too many dishes and was overwhelming. We waited a long time when we needed service and to get the bill. Poor value for money. Better to just visit the deli and bakery.
What an experience. It starts with the most amazing bread ever created. Vegetables are elevated with such care and flavour. Really enjoyed the unique flavour combinations. Staff are so friendly, as well as the bakers and chefs.
Lovely! We loved the food and the staff! An excellent experience :)
Fantastic staff, amazing affordable food and beautiful surroundings!
Harvest just gets better and better. It literally is like some Alice in Wonderland trapdoor you walk through and come out in this wonderful, relaxed place where time is suspended and you can focus on those you are with and the amazing food. The service is outstanding and the presentation and descriptions of the food strikes just the right note. It is as if the ingredients had sat at the table with you and welcomed you into their home. Without doubt a must that everyone should include on a Norther Rivers tour.
With a lot of excitement prior to visiting Harvest, sadly me and my partner left disappointed from the set menu offered on Friday night, We left hungry and felt there was a lot lacking.
The venue is beautiful and the wait staff are very nice but for us it wasn’t worth the trip out of Byron
Stunning innovative food match with professional but friendly service, couldn't fault a thing. Will be back soon I hope
Perfect place for a beautiful lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food, the wine, the service & the ambience were all amazing. Highly recommend.
Also really enjoyed the rest of the village at Newrybar.
This is a really special place to eat. The food was beautifully balanced and the menu was thoughtfully put together. The staff was appropriately attentive. We went for dinner in Winter but I would like to go again in the summer
Interesting local flavours in a serene setting. Staff who are there when you need them and know not to interrupt the flow of conversation when you don't (which is sadly rare).
Food was delicious, service excellent. Tables were well distanced to give privacy and be Covid safe
Bubbly attentive service, very noisy if you like " energetic" environs. Great food and wine, fabulous atmosphere and location. This is a special occasion place that I took my partner to for his birthday.
Beautiful setting, decor & service. Lovely drive to get there & back!
Fantastic Experience! Food that exceeds expectations, fabulous staff, food sourced locally - one of the best meals we had all week! Hint - if you love steak - then take the plunge.
Our entrees were fabulous. He had the oysters, I had the pulled lamb salad. Highly recommend both, they were delicious.
Service was second to none. The wait staff were attentive and friendly and made sure our drinks were consistently filled.
Unfortunately, the main course was a let-down. He had the beef brisket which turned out to be a very poorly constructed hamburger with a horrible burnt balsamic dressing, I had the eye fillet steak which was a big grisly piece of scotch fillet - the sauce was nice and it was cooked medium rare as asked for, but it was a terrible cut of meat.
We ordered the side of greens which turned out to be a big bowl of lettuce. We were expecting something a little more substantial such as green beans or the like to accompany steak/beef. You couldn't even call it a salad as it didn't consist of anything but dressed lettuce. The dressing was tasty though.
All in all it was (sadly) a disappointing meal for our anniversary. We had high hopes due to our entrees and service being so spectacular, but unfortunately the mains were a huge disappointment and not worth the price paid.
Food was delicious and service was outstanding, as always. Such a gorgeous location and nice to see the restaurant doing well in these tough times. Only ‘complaint’ was that the main fish dish also contained pork - not great for hungry pescatarians!
A most enjoyable day.
Surprisingly the dessert menu was disappointing.
However the Restaruant is never disappointing, we have celebrated 4 family members Birthdays And a couple of casual drop ins and never disappointed.
The most amazing dinner experience! Everything from the wine to the food to the ambience to the service was outstanding!
Food was amazing, service was fantastic. Great day!
Really loved this dining experience. Wonderful. My only negative comment is that I didn’t appreciate surrounding tables and chairs being removed while we were still dining. Admittedly we were having a late lunch but it does make you feel rushed.
Great setting and relaxed atmosphere with delicious local food prepared beautifully. Service, wine and cocktails all superb. Great place for a long lunch.
Absolutely fantastic experience! My partner and I dined there for lunch. My only criticism is that I wish the waitress told us we had ordered way too much! Otherwise, we would return in a heartbeat.
Once again Harvest did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, and the food well worth travelling for. We will definitely be back again. Simply amazing.
