Had a lovely time - would definitely return!
Chef won't cook red meat to diners preference. The only thing that would stop me going back.
Food was phenomenal, service was excellent.
Not just knowledgeable and friendly but above and beyond!
Such an amazing variety of delicious curated wines with great depth coming from the sommelier (and other staff).
We decided to order a few mains to share which was a great idea, as we got to enjoy a variety of the yummy mains on offer. Cocktails were good also and are waitress was exceptional.
Servers were very polite and helpful.
As long as the sun was under a cloud our table was fine, but when the sun was shining we were getting cooked alive.
A $20 cakage fee? That was a first especially since we ordered 2 desserts and racked up a $90 per head bill (no wine or beer ordered).
The food woud have been mmuch more enjoyable if the vegetables had not been drowned in oil.
I think at least one or two Plant Based mains dishes would have made our experience much more satisfying.
A lovely hinterland position to enjoy lunch . The veranda his lovely to sit and enjoy
We have lived in Byron for more than 20years and this was the best Restaurant experience in years.
very good tasty and healthy meal for sunday lunch
service a bit slow
First class all the way!
fabulous casual restaurant, great food as always and brilliant service . We often call in if we are passing through and its always a treat.
Delicious, healthy and seasonal food sustainability sources. Great atmosphere and service. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended
This is a "must do" dining location on the NSW far north coast.
We were a table of six, simultaneously celebrating two 40th wedding anniversaries and three significant birthdays. Food, wine and service (call out to Meghan and Yani, thank you) all EXCELLENT.
The only reason that I don't offer a perfect score (and this is certainly not limited to Harvest) is that 2 hour time limits, especially in a celebratory situation, do place a level of pressure on the experience. Yes, it's becoming the norm, however it does impose a gobble up quick sensation.
Bit of a let down. Harvest had come highly recommended but apart from the really lovely service, the food was pretty average. The oysters were badly shucked and full of shell. The greens were over-dressed and the dishes were tiny for the price. Shame as it was a special occasion. The staff were the highlight. Smiley and friendly. We won't be back.
The most DELICIOUS meal I’ve had in a while. Harvest is my most favorite restaurant in the shire, well done team, you never disappoint.
Amazing food, decent portions and fab service. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was delicious and good atmosphere. A relaxing and enjoyable lunch.
Sensational atmosphere..staff were all over it..food just great..and well presented..Brussel sprouts....soooo good
Cheers Mik Mal
Three of us went there recently for lunch to celebrate Mothers’ Day.
The service was impeccable. The team were so friendly & knowledgable.
The food was excellent and it’s a very relaxed environment.
Mother's Day lunch was busy and at times quite noisy - c'est la vie
Best food in the region and one of the best meals we’ve had at Harvest, ever. Can’t wait to go back.
The menu offerings were not of my liking this time around. The waitress Megan was very rude following feedback given when she asked about our lunch experience. Her behaviour that followed ruined our dining experience prompting us to leave. To place a two seat table amongst large group tables is not a good idea as the noise from these large groups of people affects the dining experience. Harvest has amazing produce and yet the current menu doesn’t showcase these amazing ingredients enough which I believe is a missed opportunity.
Always a great visit! Food is amazing. It's a fabulous place to visit.
First time here and we loved it. Location excellent as were the wait staff. Food superb, pickles were very, very crunchy. Only down side was we were seated by a table of about 14 (?) Women and we couldn't hear a thing!🎧😁
Still my all time favourite restaurant.... wish I could eat here more often but it's a holiday thing
Beautiful setting, food was delicious and service outstanding
The wonderfully high standard experienced a t our first visit some years ago has been easily maintained.
The food and service continue to impress . It's innovative without being weird!
Long may it continue.
A lovely setting in the village of Newrybar. Great menu and fabulous food.
Highly overrated and underwhelming. Not worth the effort
Incredible food and all staff had excellent knowledge and service.
Fantastic food in a great location with very attentive staff.
The food was all talk and punch! Over priced given the quality.
Shared Raw fish and squid for entree perfect mix of flavours .
Main course of beef cooked to perfection and roast zucchini with Parmesan crisps mint and puréed creamy zucchini were delicious.
Service efficient friendly and knowledgeable
Delicious food in beautiful surroundings with great service. Not inexpensive but worth every cent.
head chef had moved on to frida fields
so a bit disappointed
Amazing food and service by all staff but especially Megan
Outside in ‘bar’ area was fine for us as we were on a trip north with our dogs & wanted a short stay with good food & service.
Dogs were allowed to sit at out feet.
Both food & service were excellent although food quite expensive.
Just thought the meals came out a little too quickly, food and service by the staff were great.
Loved dining at Harvest. Our 6 dishes were outstanding and the service was excellent, seriously looking forward to getting back and trying the entire menu.
A popular find reflecting the Byron Hinterland vibe of good food ethically and locally sourced
Exquisite food, especially the desert (Mille feuille) !
Only drawback was the noise level
