Very good evening, food and service were both great
Outstanding dining as usual; it's always a pleasure to come here.
Warm friendly atmosphere. Piano music Friday and Saturday evenings. Excellent food. Great place for date night.
Staff is terrific, ambiance is warm and cozy, and food is fantastic
Always a great meal. Ambiance is beautiful and relaxing
A bit pricey although food was very good, server was very friendly and helpful, but service was a bit slow.
My husband took me on a surprise date to this beautiful restaurant. It was decked out in Christmas spirit, with kind waitstaff and delicious food. I cannot say enough about how good the Harvest Moon Inn is and how much I enjoyed it. I look forward to going back there.
Our favorite restaurant, especially for special occasions. They have made safe accommodations for inside dining during the pandemic, as well as outside with heaters. Teresa is the "hostess with the mostest"!
Ambiance and food was excellent. The server was a little slow as well as the main course arriving.
The restaurant was extremely cold as the heat wasn’t on. So it was uncomfortable while we were eating. We had to keep our coats on.
Great to be back inside to dine. As always, amazing food, cocktails, service and ambience.
Very nice and welcoming atmosphere. Food and service was excellent!!
The outdoor seating is nice, allowing for viewing the lovely grounds. Heaters were on due to chilly, rainy weather but very comfortable.
Not impressed. For the cost of the meals, felt like we were taken advantage of. Soup served luke warm and were served in cardboard Container as were the salads. Also charged 40 . $ for steak but had to pay 1.50$ for a small dinner roll. Never in my 70 years had I ever had to pay for bread . Also server not into her job
Food was just average. Nothing great. Waitress was very nice though.
Have been going to the Harvest Moon since it opened 25 years ago! Love it!
Outstanding dining; The duck recipe is for autumn is one of the best I ever had, here!
Absolutely love it!
We ordered the lobster ravioli for an appetizer, and for dinner my husband ordered the duck and I ordered the beef tenderloin medallions. All three were delicious, and the bottle of Malbec we ordered was good and not too expensive ($35) compared to some other restaurants where sometimes the cheapest bottle of wine is $50! We will definitely return here. The outside dining area was charming and quiet, and they had heaters out in case it got chilly. It was very sweet when the restaurant also gave us a pretty sorbet as an extra gift for our anniversary!
Thanks for a wonderful time! Such a quaint ambiance!!
The Harvest Moon has done a great job adapting to the Covid requirements for outside dining. As always, the steak sandwiches are exceptional, however, the mushroom soup was not up to their usual high standards. The service has always been, and continues to be, excellent.
The food and service were wonderful as always. However, for an upscale restaurant, using paper and plastic really takes away from the experience. Even with outdoor dining, I strongly suggest using regular plates and silverware, rather than using paper; some of the dishes served look like takeout from a convenience store.
Always our favorite! Every item on the menu is a wonderful experience - we've tried almost all! Save room for the rice pudding! Feel safe with the graciously spaced tables.
31 wedding anniversary
We LOVE Harvest moon! The service is wonderful and the food is amazing! This was our first time eating outside there, and it was beautiful!
This was a very pleasant experience. I’ve wanted to try Harvest
Moon Inn several times and what better way to try it than my birthday. The food was delicious and my steak was perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and very attentive. The outdoor dining on the patio was absolutely beautiful and perfect on an early fall night. And to top it off, a nice little surprise birthday lemon sorbet with strawberries, strawberry sauce and Happy Birthday written in chocolate was the perfect ending to the night. I am very much looking forward to my next visit to Harvest Moon Inn.
Did not like the cardboard plates and plastic utensils. I see no reason not to provide traditional dinner ware.
This it is a beautiful spot and the food is always good here!
The dinners at $30+ were underwhelming and served on paper plates with plastic utensils due to covid. The Duck and spinach-risotta was uninspired, the arugula salad was limp with tiny packaged croutons and the mushroom soup had few dectable mushrooms.
Not the fine dining Harvest Moon was once known-not a memorable meal. If you go, keep it simple.
Big disappointment ... fine dining on paper plates and plastic cutlery? Charging for dinner rolls and butter?Really?? The food was good. Outdoor dining is tough but the experience could have been much better especially at premium prices.
Beautiful surroundings and excellent food and service make the Harvest Moon our favorite restaurant. Creative menu with emphasis on fresh, local produce. The desserts are made there, and they are outstanding. The service staff is always personable and accommodating. Especially recommend dining outside, as the yard area is expansive and surrounded by trees. Great star-gazing after the sun goes down!
Theresa and staff always take such good care of us !
Was overwhelmed by how beautiful the outdoor dining setup was,
Absolutely stunning !!!!
Food as always ten stars !!!
Everything was perfect as always. The outside dining is beautiful. We are in the garden. Very quiet and romantic. The piano player really adds to the ambiance. We hope the outside dining stays long after the pandemic is gone.
Wonderful meal and they have done a nice job with outside dining but it’s ridiculous for them to serve $35-$40 entrees on paper plates with plastic silverware and paper napkins. We have been to many other restaurants that are using regular service ware.
Good food good service. Nicely done for outdoor dining in compliance for COVID
Excellent as always! Even under Covid conditions the staff did a wonderful job! We were married there 15 years ago and wouldn’t want to celebrate anywhere else!
Outdoor dining in a beautiful tree and lawn setting behind the main building. Best of any outdoor I’ve been to during pandemic. A little pricey but worth it. Food was original and delicious. The staff was great.
The patio setting is lovely and the live piano music a nice touch. The host and servers were friendly and accommodating. Margaritas were very good. The plastic ware is a turn off and the food mediocre given the price of entrees. Feels like airplane dining. We've eaten inside (pre-Covid) and had a completely different experience with the food. It was really great! I would suggest either use real silverware and step up the quality of their menu or shift to a tavern kind of menu and prices. That said, I sure this kind of operation is difficult given the era of Covid.
We have been to the Harvest Moon for years. Even in this difficult time it was a great experience.
Great food, and the live music outside is wonderful. Service was exceptional. One of our favorite places!
Very good food and relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommend
