Mediterranean
Harvest Kitchen is a regional dining space focussed on providing Mediterranean inspired flavours that have been designed to be shared. We aim to offer honest, generous and flavoursome dishes based around the wonderful produce of our region, in a warm and friendly environment with relaxed and professional service.

We are co-located with Calabria Family Wines at the top of Magnolia Rd just outside of the township of Tanunda and our elevated aspect provides fantastic views across the valley floor. Being set amongst the vines in the heart of the region and with wide open lawn areas we provide a wonderful opportunity to escape, relax and unwind.

Harvest Kitchen is open throughout the day serving lunch until late 7 days a week and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Another great lunch at Harvest Kitchen. Always get the ‘Feed me like a Barossan’ because it’s the best value for money and you get to try lots of different dishes. Food is always beautiful and the service always spot on. Thanks again!

Harvest Kitchen was the best meal we had in the Barossa! We tried other places with their feed me option and Harvest was the best for value and food quality. All staff knew the menu well and it was exciting to see what would be bought out. Sitting out on the deck in the sun on a winter day! Perfect!

We had the 'feed me' menu and it was absolutely delicious. They were able to accomodate our vegetarian diets and we left feeling perfectly satiated. And beautiful views of the Barossa to top it off!

This is the second time we have dined here. Once again it did not disappoint. The food was so tasty and the service was outstanding. Definitely on our list whenever we visit the Barossa.

This was an amazing choice for our party of 14. We could not fault the food, everyone was very happy. The wine we chose was also excellent. A good time had by all.

We had the feed me menu and there was plenty of food and generally enough for everyone.
A small thing, but as a share menu there should be equal pieces of each food items per person. One dish (the fried chicken) came out and we had to actually cut pieces in half for there to be equal portions for everyone.
Service was great.

We went for lunch on a beautiful sunny winter Sunday and loved it. They were doing only the Feed Me Like A Barossan menu due to coronavirus restrictions, and only 20 ppl at a time. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the shared dishes came out at good intervals. The food was lovely, mostly vego or vegan, except the last shared beef dish. There was a choice of 2 desserts and both were delish. Will definitely be going back - good value @ $59 ea incl dessert.

Expected the 1.5 hour limit due to covid but the sitting prior meant we were sat 25 mins in. To be then told set menu- we were fine- but I asked for the dessert option. I was told ‘if I have time’. So we asked the courses to be brought out quicker. No need to stagger so that we could enjoy it all. This didn’t happen and then got asked to sit outside for dessert. It was freezing. No need to kick up a stink but it wasn’t us that were Running late. Just left a sour feeling for a birthday lunch when the food was so divine.

Very disappointed in our set menu dinner, value for money was crap for what we got. Can’t believe they served up crumbed chicken, we should have just gone to kfc. The Brussels sprouts were bitter and horrible. $150 bucks wasted.

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions there were a couple of sittings on Saturday night and the meal was rushed. The staff were good but there wasn’t time for them to explain to courses, so often we didn’t know what we were eating. It wasn’t the best experience we’ve had there. But we realize things a bit normal due to COVID

We had a lovely lunch at Harvest Kitchen. From entering the restaurant to leaving, waiters were attentive. Food was delivered promptly and although we had not reserved one, we were given a window seat. We had the 'Feed me like a Barossan', which gave us a great selection of food and was priced reasonably. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We have been before and had awesome food. This time while the service was fabulous, we felt the food was not as good. We also missed the part on the website that states it was the chefs choice / feeding menu. We probably would not have booked this time if we did see that. We noticed other diners who had booked online also didn’t seem aware of the set menu. We will return again though.

We visited The Harvest Kitchen for the third time on the June Public Holiday. Covid 19 restrictions were in place. regardless the staff and kitchen provided wonderful diverse food and excellent service.

wines are also of the highest quality with a wide selection of the regions finest.

A great place for a lazy thought provoking lunch with views above the vines

Family friendly and lovely staff. Our book was for a 1130 till 1330 time slot. At the beginning of our meal we were informed we wouldnt have time for the dessert menu which is good to communicate. However all the food was seved by 1230 leaving over an hour of our booking where we could have easily been seved desert and a coffee. At 1245 we were given the bill which we took as a hint to leave. The size of the meals were small. On the hour drive home we had to stop in Tanunda to get more food as still hungry. Asked for a pregnancy friendly menu however were still seved prosciutto and meal rare to medium which is not suitable in pregnancy. Ok day for a birthday lunch but proberly not worth the hour drive sorry.

Food and service fantastic. The wine choice was limited - we wanted some sparkling. It was a choice between a very average house Prosecco or 2 x over $100 per bottle French - in the Barossa!!!
An absolutely fabulous setting. Recommend trying it out.

We had a fabulous time at Harvest Kitchen. The restaurant is light, modern and has incredible views.
We chose the Feed Me Like a Barrossan option and were not disappointed. The food was exceptional, and each plate was brought out with 10/15 minute intervals, allowing us to sample and each each dish.
We are not large eaters and struggled to finish every thing but thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try so many different and beautifully presented dishes. Each of them were perfectly balanced with some gorgeous flavour combinations.
We will definitely be going back :-)
