One of the worst service ever, we waited over 15 min to have a server approach. Not to blame him he seemed to be the only one working so I feel like it’s managements fault. They messed up two of our drinks. The bread was cold and hard when it came out. Will not be dining here again and to make it worse they still charged us for drinks which most places would have comped for messing up and for having to wait 30 minutes just to get a drink and bread to the table.
We had a great meal and service. We will be back!
I haven't been the Harth in about two years. I'm happy to say that the quality of the food and service are both still very good. I was there for a lunch, and had a very good, creative sandwich.
We went to Harth for what we thought was going to be lunch, but when we got there the only option was a breakfast buffet. They didn't mention this when we made the reservation, and they don't seem to mention it on their web site, which only shows breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. When we asked the waiter if we could order from the lunch menu, he said "no." Not "no, I'm sorry." Not "What are you interested in, and I'll see if the kitchen can make it?" Literally just "no." Then he asked us what we wanted to drink, we said Coke, he came back with the drinks, and that we pretty much the last we heard from him again until he brought the check. Later it appeared that mimosas and champagne were options, whether included in the price or not I'll never know, because the waiter never mentioned them. The buffet was very breakfast-y -- eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast and rolls, cereal, oatmeal. Nothing special. Nothing resembling lunch, even though it was 11:30 a.m. When the check came, the waiter asked us if we had coupons, we said no, and then he surprised us with a check for a whopping $21 each. If you have one of these mysterious coupons, the brunch might be worth it. But for $21 cash, it was way overpriced. It's not clear what days and times Härth offers the breakfast-buffet-only option, so in the future we're going to stay away 24/7 just to be sure.
Food was good, service is awesome...
People kept opening the side door to the restaurant causing a cold chill to come into the dining room.
Exquisite service!!!
Great food and great server. This place never disappoints.
Food and service were wonderful. Will definitely go back!
The warm ambience and very good food made for a nice experience. We went on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant did not start to get busy until after 7:30pm. The overall noise level remained low allowing for easy conversation.
Beautiful restaurant - glowing fireplaces and elegant decor set a stage for a lovely experience. The service was excellent - the highlight of our visit. It was my mother's 90th birthday and the staff could not have been more charming or accommodating. We were there for breakfast so, in all fairness, did not really get a chance to sample the menu - but I would return her any time - especially for a special occasion.
Fireplaces are excellent. No other restaurant offers. Contemporary yet cozy!
Lunch with Tip was over $100.
I know you cater to the expense report corporate customers but the price for the value of the food was too pricey.
A bit disappointing because there was no pork belly and they were not serving any of their flatbreads, ie about a 1/4 of their menu was missing! Live and learn. On the plus side, Roasted half chicken was flavorful.
My son, a picky eater, declared that he wants to dine here every Thanksgiving--and I agree. The buffet was spectacular, and the staff exceptionally attentive. Loved the high-style decor.
So happy to hear your family enjoyed Thanksgiving with us. I'm looking forward to having you back! All the Best, Fred Sourmehi - General Manager
Two years ago we had the best Thanksgiving buffet ever at Härth. This year the quality of everything had gone down. So much so that I suspect a new less talented chef is in charge. The kindest thing I can say is that the food was mediocre and the atmosphere less refined. With no one directing traffic and no signs it was chaos at the food tables. Especially disappointing were the desserts. No flaky crusts, only cold and hard ones served straight from hours of refrigeration. Why bother
Wonderful meal per usual!
Beautiful atmosphere for dinner with friends. Loved the fireplaces. The menu is small, and the food was delicious. Especially loved the bacon jam and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
Enjoyed the refugee chef tasting menu. Wonderful evening!
We LOVED our dinner and especially appreciated being able to share in Tables Without Borders. Our meal outstandingly balanced. Every dish was so thoughtfully curated. Service was wonderful. THANK YOU!
I thought the food was delicious and imaginative. The decor has a modern vibe and beautifully decorated. Tables for singles and couples are not stacked on top of one another and booths appear to be large enough to seat 5-6 people comfortably. The only reason I did not give this restaurant 5 stars was because of the unusual interaction I had with the hostess. The restaurant is in a hotel in an area that does not get much casual foot traffic on the weekends. It was Saturday around 5:30 pm, the restaurant didn't seem very busy but since it was still early for dinner, I asked the hostess if she thought it would be crowded that evening. In a very pleasant voice she responded "I really can't say." I had approached her respectfully: I thought that was an odd response. She appeared to have access via a small laptop to information. I went to my room and booked a reservation through open table rather than through the hotel. There appeared to be plenty of availability and the restaurant was not crowded.
First time at Harth. It's a beautiful restaurant with good food. Our server, Maria, was outstanding and her excellent service enhanced our experience dramatically. She served us bacon jam with our bread and it was incredible. For dinner we tried a couple of dishes from the special chef which were good but not anything we would get again. From the restaurant's regular menu we had the mezza bowl which we loved. Overall great evening. Will definitely be back.
Liddy is wonderful! Makes me feel at home. Thanks!!
They did not have the nice outside patio next to the fire like it looked they did. Food is not as expensive, but it is moderate. Steak was not good at all, I think you can have better tasting food in Applebee's. Staff is very nice but they sometimes try to overdo it. Ambiance is nice, but that's pretty much it. Would not recommend going there. Desserts are also awful!
What a great Fall treat dining outdoors! Attentive and friendly staff! The menu made it hard to choose!!!
Went there for lunch with a friend. Very quiet place, so our server was super, super attentive!.
I remember that the food was good and the decor was modern chic!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're looking forward to having you come back in the new year, the chef is eager to share his new menu!
Härth was good but not great. My date and I enjoyed it, but I did not like enough to go back. That said, the menu looked interesting, so maybe it was just the flounder.
The food was good but took too long to come, and the waiter wasn't the greatest.....especially with their prices. It wasnt a bad experience, just not great.
It is sometimes difficult to find a restaurant that combines all the elements for a good business lunch - good food, service, ambiance, and quiet. I didn't realize until after I made the reservation that Harth is located in a hotel - I have a small prejudice against hotel restaurants because of my work/travel history - but Harth is a definite exception. Everything was very good, fresh, warm items warm, cool items cool, and the service was impeccable - both friendly and professional. A little pricey, but I know there's a cost associated with a sustainable menu.
Had the grouper. Fish was over cooked and on a plate of green beans with too much water on the plate. The rest of the meal was tasty but not memorable. The Calamari was very good. Interesting place the fireplaces are nice .
Enjoyed our calamari appetizer and flatbreads and a glass of wine. Service was attentive.
Absolutely wonderful!!!!
We went for lunch on a Sunday and we didn’t k ow there was only a brunch buffet which was okay but nothing special.
Always our favorite breakfast venue. We have been here more than 5x.
Delicious scallops and crab cake entrees! Quiet, location and perfect for dining before a show at Wolf Trap. Bar in Hilton lobby also looks really nice.
The food was excellent, which is always important. However, service is equally important. We did not receive our drink order for 30 minutes. They apparently had a staff shortage in relationship to the number of guests. This is always risky when you go to a hotel restaurant. Poor service IMO is inexcusable. However, nearly every establishment deserves a second chance. Will give it a try again in hopes that their staffing issue is resolved as the food was quite good.
Not the greatest experience. Our waitress was less than personable and the food was just fair. We started with the calamari which was your basic fried food, but we did enjoy the whole Shishito peppers in the dish. The peppers was what saved it. The bang-bang shrimp flatbread was alright and the roasted mushroom flatbread was just alright as well. There were no standouts in the food department. The waitress definitely put a damper on our evening, but we also noticed that she treated everyone the same, so it was not directed at us. Had the atmosphere been better and had we felt more welcome, we might have stayed for coffee and dessert. I'll not recommend this restaurant. It's a shame as I really wanted to like it.
Great menu. Good service. Patio closes early.
Didn’t realize it was in a hotel. Sun was shining so brightly in the window that we moved three times. Staff was over attentive because there were so few people. But the food was amazing!
Beautiful atmosphere with food that is packed with flavor.
