The menus at Harry’s Bar will reflect those of its sister restaurant Harry’s Dolce Vita in Knightsbridge, offering traditional and unfussy Italian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a signature weekend brunch.
The new restaurant will feature a large terrace, with space for up to 48 guests to dine alfresco on James Street. Inside, luxurious banquettes and bright, colourful artwork will be a nod to mid-century Italy. The bar will serve a selection of exceptional Italian wines and a drinks list of classic cocktails, alongside a daily aperitivo menu.
Nice staff and good atmosphere
Todo muy rico la pasta fantastica y los bellini de lo mejor
Excellent, will be badk
We didn’t even get the chance to eat. They treated us like we were stupid only because we didn’t know there are 2 of them in London.
thoroughly recommend this place. great vibe, great food, and fantastic service.
Poor service. Average food
A good ambience as always.
Food ok but No pie on the menu!
Excellent food, excellent service! Will definitely go back!
Lovely decor, cozy restaurant with fun staff albeit rushed to take your order.
Went with some colleagues for breakfast and everything was perfect. Good to see Harry’s back on form.
Made a 3 days advance reservation, got to the restaurant and they told us that they are CLOSED since the morning.
They called to inform just 25 mins before reservation time, which by that time I was travelling underground tube with no phone signal and so did not resceived the call.
They did not even try to apologize properly...........no complimentary as well.....I was so disappointed with how careless they were.
Atmospheric ambiance of quiet sophistication away from the bustle of Oxford Street and the noisier restaurants around James Street and St Christophers Place. The waiters were very attentive and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the arancini and roasted vegetables before going on to a main of sea bass and a salad with burrata cheese. There were lots of choices and the food was tasty, with portions on the smaller side. Good choice of wine and a delicious espresso martini to end the evening. Thoroughly recommended - so nice to find somewhere where you can hear each other speaking.
Would definitely recommend to friends visiting London. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
I was not informed that I am not allowed to bring a cake from an outside bakery for my birthday and I was informed only when I arrived at the restaurant. Except the fact that my family who travelled from another country for my birthday were dissapointed. I have finded very unkind for them not to let me light the candles in my birthday cake and eat it after. I don’t think I will go back to this restaurant after this treatment on my special day.
rushed us through our meal. Brought the bill over when we had not asked for it and wanted to order more drinks, then came over and asked for our cards when we weren’t ready to pay and then asked us to leave as they needed the table. I had made a booking and the Table was suppose to be for 2 hours, rushed out the door and just rude. Not worth it.
Siempre es una buena opción comenzar con un Bellini
We had just finished our first course & then immediately we were given our mains, much to quick & gave us indigestion
Amazing service and delicious food in a beautiful setting. The cocktails are to die for!! Great Bellini’s
Was lovely as always. Love the ambience that’s why I
Thank you and very much well done Harry’s - a great restaurant you are! X
Lovely lively atmosphere, great food and service was fabulous
Very pleasant evening, rather too many cushions!
Good place for cocktails and meal. Noise slightly high but still able to have a conversation.
Lovely place for a family meal/ you can spend a few hours here eating, drinking and relaxing. There’s a good variety of vegetarian options and we were given a booth so it made our lunch even more special.
Great food great bar staff
Wonderful evening, superb service, lovely food as usual.
This is my regular spot where I take my guests from out of town to show off London or where I simply end up after a full day or running errands. I keep coming back for a reason.
Please do fill the small plate with olives properly. If you plate up 5 olives and charge £3.75 that makes it almost a pound for each olive. See you soon.
Amazing time and food superb..
Attractive space and decor
Abysmal service, we had to get up and chase after one of the waiters to get attention after several minutes of trying to get attention at a time that was not particularly busy.
The waiter who came to collect our drinks order had no idea about any of the wines on offer by the glass
The quality of the food was adequate however the steak was served with a pepper sauce that was actually solid. As in you could flip over the sauceboat and the ‘sauce’ was stuck to it
Overall I would not return
Love this restaurant, it’s always a treat. Portions a little on the small side, but always top notch quality
Harry's Barr offers a wide range of very well cooked modern Italian dishes. There is something for everyone, from heavy meat eaters through to vegans. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and the service impeccable. We had a lovely family evening there.
I love this place, the new manger is hilarious and very polite. The Dover Sole was delicious, the waiter who’s last day was Thursday, was very attentive. I’ve been few times now, and it’s so easy to feel relaxed.
Great place with fantastic Italian menu selection. Good consistency of food.
The management of Harry’s is the best! The restaurant managers are very on top of everything and lovely. The food is great, the service is great, this is one of the best restaurants in London!
The vongole is f
I had vongole. When it arrived the waiter said there were empty shells as the vongole had separated into the sauce. This was not correct there were masses of empty shells and very few vongole, they were also incredibly tiny. The main content was linguine and tomatoes. I did say to the waiter that I had not seen such minute vongole. His reply was, had I ever been to Sardinia? Patronising and rude.
Not a lot not to like and so much better than the very similar Ivy chain
What a shame. We have been to Harry's many times, as a couple and as a family. Best flatbread in London. Tonight however, we dined there and all was good until we tried to pay by Open Table dining cheques. The perfectly pleasant waiter deferred to the manager, who refused the cheques and blamed Open Table for the situation. We explained that many restaurants state that they do not accept the cheques, but we had selected Harry's because we wanted to pay £40 not £110 on a Tuesday night. He indicated that they had no control over the site. We would have kept coming, but not now. What a shame.
Loved it and can't wait to go back. Bar staff deserve a particular shout out and create a good atmosphere
The food was visually enticing and equally mouthwatering. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations but our white chocolate desert that looked like a mushroom was something else!
The staff were brilliant and looked after us to just the right level!
