I have not been to the Hard Rock since it was located in Darlinghurst and from memory the food was always good. So after many years we decided to take our 8 yr old son tthere for the 80s Trivia night because he loves everything 80s and thought it would be fun. We ordered Nachos and and a selection of burgers. We were very disappointed. The nachos was very average ( I have had better at a shopping centre food court) Our burgers were very dry and bland. Seriously with all the great burger places around now I think Hard Rock really needs to up step up a bit. I have never given a bad review before and hate to now as I know restaurants are really struggling at the moment with COVID but I was actually shocked at the quality of the food. My sons Pepsi was flat and my Bumers was too. Will not be back .

The food is not what you expecting like the buffalo wings very salty , and the ribs have no flavour.

Shame the front isn’t utilised anymore it has cut the atmosphere away and view isn’t as spectacular, chicken tenders tasted off but did get free dessert which was nice

Very friendly waiter, unfortunately do not recall his name but he was great. He finished his shift mid-way through our meal and let us know who would be looking after our table from then on. She was also very nice.

Good food and drinks. Very attentive service, and nice atmosphere.
The only thing was that previously the event said that it would finish at 2 am, and finished at 1 am. We bought some drinks before and we waste our money.

The second time I came people the people where very nice and asking how the food was and making me feel welcomed. This time no one greeted me or asked me how the food was made me share a meal no what i was promised and didn't make me feel welcomed the lady manager seems annoyed I came back the guy opening the was was the only one who seems nice. Also i was setted in the back I could watch the show so I left early.

We can appreciate that you were disappointed with the seating, though you are welcome to request a different table and we would accommodate if possible. The free food you shared is a mixed starting platter we usually recommend for 3 or 4 people, so we dont feel we shortchanged you on the free starters.
Given that HardRock Cafe in other parts of the world is providing more vegan options, AU can also introduce Vegan choices. I saw Vegan choices online menu but not in the outlet’s menu card.

We do have vegan options, as you noted, though as a Hard Rock Cafe, we are not specialists in this cuisine, and strictly adhere to the definitions of dietry requirements from our guests. We hope to be running a Veggie/vegan LTO later this year.
Ribs were a real disappointment! Lots of bone...no meat.

I booked a table at Hard Rock Cafe so I could watch The Beatnix who were playing there at 8pm. I reserved a table for 2 and requested a table closest to the stage as I have poor eyesight. When I arrived and checked in I was dissapointed when they seated us where I could not even see the band at all of which I was very dissapointed. Fortunately after around 25min we were given a table closer to the stage so I was satisfied with this and enjoyed the rest of my night and the food and show. I would like to put a special mention in for the waiter named THOMAS as he was very friendly and great attentive service. I am looking forward to attending another night soon at The Hard Rock Cafe Darling Harbour.

I booked a table Saturday 12th December at 7:30pm for my friends birthday. And yes although you was busy, we were made to wait almost 40 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
We were really excited to try the new menu, however was very disappointed to find out that a lot of the ingredients for the drinks were not available, and when we asked for other drinks such as Prosecco and beer we were then told the ones we wanted were out of stock due to the busy weekend.
Although the service we received from our waiter was amazing, the actual wait time for the food was less than. We waited approximately 1 hour and 25mins for our starters, which then ended up just coming out along with our mains.
It is just a little disappointing that the Hard Rock Sydney did not meet up to the Hard Rock name. I was recommended Hard Rock by friends as they have previously been to ones in other countries so was very excited to surprise my friend this reservation for her birthday. Unfortunately due to the experience we received we will not be returning and do not feel this is a restaurant we will recommend to others.

We can assure you that our policies for seating are as fair as possible, however, the Hard Rock Policy (from Corporate) is priority seating. Combined with other factors such as COVID restrictioned seating, we had limited opportunity to seat everyone immediately upon arrival. It is absolutely not our normal or acceptable, and apologize.

Was ok, went for the fact it’s says kids eat free on weekends, but does not say anywhere it’s before 6! Even tho we ordered before 6 as our receipt says! Oh well.
Dear Anonymous, we are sorry to hear that we have made such a simple error, such as the receipt showing the order time. If you can send a copy of that through to us, we can ensure you get the appropriate refund. We do advertise that Kids Eat Free program has terms and conditions and one of the those conditions is that it is up until 6pm, which is a moot point in your case when you ordered prior to 6pm. Again, very sorry for our error and we will happily fix it up for you.

Too noisy for dinner conversations and service was terrible

I loved the first time at Hard Rock Cafe. I was there to see an acoustic set and I was really looked after. Fab service, food, ambience and felt safe as a solo woman. A special shout out to Jessie who was welcoming and lovely.
