Walking into Hannibal Lebanese restaurant in Glebe instantly feels like you’re not really in Sydney any more. With lush Persian rugs hanging wall to wall and rows of plump pillows beautifully embroided, it could easily be a dining hall in some ancient Arabic royal palace. Okay, maybe not quite. But the food certainly helps sustain the illusion. This is the place in Sydney, just a few miles from the CBD on Glebe Point Road, to indulge in a true Middle Eastern feast. So don’t hold back ﹘ grab some fresh, still warm Lebanese flatbread, or khobz, and dip into some creamy baba ganouj or hummus with minced lamb and pine nuts, or wrap it around some juicy lamb kafta or fried eggplant and a hundred other delicious offerings on the menu. It’s all about sharing and enjoying yourself, so get a group together and book at Hannibal Glebe now to get in on the fun.
