The food was excellent! My only complaint was that we felt very rushed by our server.

We've been going to Hank's for over 10 years... as often as we can. Our top 1 or 2 in the area. Food is superb; never a bad choice. Service is great, and engaging. Oysters are the best we've found, and the meal preparation is terrific. If we bring anyone to Old Town, it's always to Hank's. We find excuses to head to Hank's.

Due to covid - and it being our first dining experience out in a year. I don't think it' fair rating but can't go higher We have always loved Hank's and will continue to go for the Oysters. But it was a "cold" experience

Super disappointing. The fresh oysters were amazing. Fresh and salty. Then it went seriously downhill. The ceviche was sent back because it had cooked shrimp, some kind of mushy whitefish and the chewiest thickest calamari ever, all of it tasteless. No salt, no acid, no heat. New England clam chowder should have been called bacon chowder and the lobster bisque was a thin, tasteless red broth with very little lobster in it. The only redeeming quality of the trout was the arugula salad. The trout was again tasteless and the lemon butter sauce was actually a gluey pasty mess. I truly wanted to tell the people waiting to be sat to run and not waste their time.

We recently moved out of the area, so it was great to be back. As always, all of the stars are super friendly. They recall your names and treat you like you’re a valued customer.

They have a great selection of oysters and the other food is also very good. The seat spacing is far enough apart to alleviate any concerns and we felt that Hank was taking sufficient precautions to keep everyone safe.

If you love oysters, this is the place for you. The menu provides other regional seafood offerings and limited selections for those who do not favor seafood, like my wife. The oyster shucker is knowledgeable and helpful with offering suggestions. The service is always friendly and helpful. Has created additional outside dining options for compliance with COVID restrictions.

This past Friday we had a party of 3 for a 6:15 dinner reservation. Reservations are highly recommended. We were told there was a backup of tables so we would have to wait about 10 mins. After 20 mins of waiting the manager apologized and told us to come in for complimentary drinks and oysters. Hank's went above and beyond to make it right! The restaurant was very busy that night but, strict Covid dining guidelines are followed. We were very pleased with the staff, food, and service. We will definitely be returning. FYI, there is outside patio dining with heaters and if you BYOB (blanket) free warm drinks until 1/31. Highly recommend Hank's for a wonderful dining experience!'

Food was great, atmosphere was good, service was great, the only reason I didn’t rate them all 5 stars is that they would not accept cash.

This was our first dining experience since COVID hit in March. The lobster roll and oysters were fantastic. My wife tasted the cole slaw and tartar sauce and loved them - big deal for a mayo-hater. Key lime pie was one of the best I’ve had outside of the Keys. Service was excellent on the patio. The noise was a little loud at times due to traffic and emergency vehicles, but it quickly passed. We’ll definitely be back!

Once again Hank's has impressed me! I took a friend out for her birthday, and the server was able to help us choose our meal (the seafood plateau) and drinks. The food was excellent and service was attentive (but not intrusive). The restaurant does a great job with COVID protocols, too!

Everything went well until it was time to pay the bill. I have an Opentable account and used my reward points to redeem a gift certificate. However, the manager wouldn’t accept my gift certificate because it wasn’t an actual card. Though the reward was minimal, I followed the directions as OT stipulated but wasn’t able to use my rewards. Now I’m out of points and have a useless reward because it won’t be accepted if it isn’t an actual card.

35th wedding anniversary spent in our favorite town and now our favorite oyster bar!! Everything was perfect—we had the feast of seven seas and the seafood plateau, and a red leaf salad with pickled beets and feta. All was awesome!!

My boyfriend and I LOVE Hank’s! The staff is always friendly and everything we get is delicious.

The oysters were delicious. My husband and I didn't like the crab cake dinner because the crab cakes had a lot of filler and not a lot of crab in it. Everything else was good. The service, Covid-19 protocols, and the atmosphere was all really nice.

The car alarm going off in the parking lot 4x was obnoxious!

Hanks, Hanks, Hanks! Solid food and service. What more could you ask for?
