Halls Gap Hotel

It took 1 hour for our food to come after ordering.
Tables constantly being shuffled around us as we ate to fit guests in. (We were on the deck)
Front door also needs a stopper as it slams shut every minute.
The setting is lovely, views nice, and i appreciated being able to bring my dog to dinner

Great atmosphere and food was good. Love that they source local produce where they can

Nice view and open space spoilt by the 90's metal soundtrack blaring over the dining area. I love rage against the machine as much as the next guy, but maybe not the best choice for a nice family lunch.

Great to be able to eat outside with our dogs in tow.

The variety of the menu suited everyone. Venue accommodated our dogs. We were also served quickly by friendly and helpful staff

Food was excellent the service staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Atmosphere was great bustling large dining area with large outdoor dining as well, indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids. Food was a little slow to come out but it looked like there was some larger groups maybe a function on at the time we ate.

Lovely spot with great views and good service, food was disapointing. I had the pork belly and the meat was very dry, the others in my group said the food was ok.

Great views, beautiful food & fantastic service. Playground for the kids inside but enough room outside to play also. Take your dog & enjoy the outdoor dining.

Absolutely stunning views of the Grampians, relaxing vibe and great value for money dining experience. Very family friendly environment, we all enjoyed it and have already booked to come again for February.

Varied menu. Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely will come again. The hotel was clean. There is a choice of seating inside or out on the veranda.

Phenomenal pub bistro food, in fact better than most stand alone restaurants we have been to. PLEASE make the Korean fried chicken in to a main! Literally the best starter we have ever had. Follow this with brisket and pork we could cut with a fork, and extremely attentive and friendly service, and you have yourself a 5 star dining experience...not just eating...dining. Thank you so much for blowing our expectations out of the water!

This place was so good we cancelled a reservation elsewhere to go back! Food was great. Service was very friendly and fast. Sat outside and loved watching the kangaroos at play while we enjoyed our meals in the gentle breeze. Most refreshing and relaxing.
Prices seemed a little high but it was in the height of tourist season. We'd still go back.

Quite expensive for $40 steak when it wasn’t cooked to our preference and the meal itself was quite average.

Kids meals were well portioned and there were a lot of options. Great indoot and outdoor play areas for the kids. Great views and ambience. They took covid measures seriously and it was wel organised, cleaned and spaced. Only negative was that my husband’s lamb was a bit over cooked and chewy. Would definitely come back again.

You can’t go past a live band, outside dining and an open space and playground for your kids to enjoy while you relax on the balcony to dine.
Always a winner and would highly recommend!

Our Mains come rather quickly especially at a time when they were busy, but our desserts took a lot longer than expected.

Do not recommend ordering the maple butternut squash. I believe whoever created this meal doesn’t have any taste buds.

Excellent setting with a very good menu. Have been many times and always great but menu has now been improved
