Amazing service and great meat! Carnivore paradise! Be prepared and pace yourself to enjoy and taste everything. Veggies bar served cold and on ice, something my girlfriend did not expect. Mashed potatoes are deliciously buttery!
Great food! Quality meat. So delicious. Service was phenomenal.
Our experience was great. The servers were friendly and joyful to be around. The entire staff at the restaurant came to our table throughout the three hours we were there. I was impressed by the General Manager's, Kristine's, knowledge of the grass feed beef and the direction of the organization. Overall, it was truly an amazing endeavor.
Excellente adresse pour les amateurs de viande. Très bon service.
Great fun! Really good food. We’ll be back.
Our meal at H selections were varied, and the choice of seasonal vegetables along with cheese and other appetizers was amazing. The salad bar and meats are organic, and the difference in taste from using such fine quality foods is clear. The Brazilian beans and rice were authentic as were the spices used to prepare all dishes. The quality and taste is well worth the price~kudos to the owner and staff for a truly lovely meal and evening!
I came here during Dine LA. I wanted to try it since it was fairly new only being there for about 4 months. The service was absolutely amazing, everyone valued us dining there and made sure we had what we wanted. The meats were all amazing and kept coming. I like the fact that you could order your meat how you want and they would bring it. The salad bar is a little small I think but still very good and refreshing. I definitely will be back!
Place was really nice and well decorated! My date loved it and the meat was superb. Very friendly staff and even met the owners who were great and informative about their mission and goal with the restaurant! Will definitely come back
Top quality grass fed beef. Organic Salad bar. Head and shoulders about Fogo. Local Owned business with owner checking on everything.
Excellent food with impeccable service in a very pleasant environment
Excellent bar tender, food was good and wait staff was superb!
Usually go to M Grill. Tried H&H and might never go back. Every staff member I met was personable and friendly. You could tell they were justifiably proud of the quality of the food. I could noticeably taste how good the grass-fed meat was. The bartender/mixologist delivered the cocktails and stopped to tell us about the ingredients and drink menu and suggest a few hidden gems. All the cocktails were flavorful and well made, which is not always a given at a Brazilian steakhouse. I definitely would recommend.
Quality of meats is way better than any brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to. It did take the staff a while to replace some items at the salad bar however everything was amazing nonetheless. Will definitely be back.
It is a new place to me and I’m glad to that I have dinner at this place.
food is great and staff as well.
I really recommend this restaurant
Service was amazing. Made sure we had everything we needed and ensured we had our selections of meat we wanted. This place is awesome!!!!
Super friendly staffs, and well made cooked foods. it is a haven.
There are better Brazilian steakhouses. If you like grass-fed meats, go for it.
This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. This is MUCH better than Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
Great food, great staff. Second time to visit and will continue to go back.
Everything was amazing my friends and I had a great time and great meal. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I don't remember any names unfortunately but there wasn't anyone who didn't make us feel welcomed I look forward to dining with you again
They kept walking by our table and not stopping with the meat. I finally had to ask the waitress to get what we wanted for us. We were seated near the back and they come out of the kitchen from there, but they walked all the way to the front first. So by the time it gets to us all the good pieces are gone. They should really rotate that from the front to back and vice Versa.
we wait 25mins past our reservation time for a table with no compensation besides an apology. the food was great. best pao de queijo out of all the braz bbqs. friendly servers but not very efficient or attentive. used plates and glasses would sit at table for a long time and takes a bit to flag someone down if you need something.
Went during Dine LA so was a great deal. Quality of food and service was excellent. The meats were tender and seasoned well and they give you sauces on the side too. Golden bananas was caramelized just right. The sides and salad bar was fresh with a wide selection. All the food was all you can eat. Dine LA included dessert Papaya Creme (blended with ice-cream had a consistency of a milkshake) and Passion Fruit Mouse both were light and refreshing. The service was friendly and attentive and if you want a certain meat cooked a certain way they would put in the special order for you. New, clean, modern decor. Overall an exceptional dining experience.
Came for DineLA and I will definitely return. The food was delicious, hot and tasty. The “all you can eat” did not fail us as our servers were attentive and constantly bringing more to our table when we were ready for more. The Mule cocktail was also a win. Nice atmosphere also.
It was my first time here - we came due to the Dine LA deal where we get the all you can eat meats and sides + a dessert for $50. The food was incredible and all the servers were quick to bring more meat nonstop. I stuffed myself and made sure it was worth it. Would definitely come back
excellent food with impeccable service . . .
interior design quite nice . . .
The meats all tasted really good. Due to how they cook their meats, some may require some of the salt on the table to provide extra flavor but that helps make it even better. The cheese bread, mashed potatoes, fried polenta and fried banana were all really good, especially when still hot. Salad bar is ok... definitely not as much variety as M grill or Texas de Brazil. Very nice decor inside and service was great, especially when you go before its busy.
I came here with 2 other friends to try this new brazilian steak house in town. It did not disappoint us from the food to the service. The salad has a lot of variety to choose from and take note it’s all organic so it’s a plus then meat selection almost the same as fogo de chao and texas de brazil, but the meats here are grass fed. I like their picanhanna and beef ribs-more flavorful, it melts in your mouth.
Lastly service is A++ no need to find the waiter/waitress to get your water refilled or something else because they are always walking around checking each table if we need anything. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, valet parking is perfect for a busy dtla location. I will definitely come back here!!!
My guests and I had an absolutely amazing time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The food was outstanding and it was a lovely experience. I would definitely go again and recommend it as a wonderful place if you are hosting guests from out of town.
Arguably one of the two best (along with M Grill) Brazilian steakhouses in Los Angeles. The service is exceptional, and the selection of all-you-can-eat cuts of meat is quite good. While M Grill has more selection variety, H&H wins hands-down on flavor. The restaurant is deceptively large, with a main front room and two additional dining areas towards the rear. H&H is well worth a visit.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and the Cinnamon Pineapple was incredible
Personal service from staff ...Superb food...made the reservation and the surprise birthday exceptional
I had the salad bar and chicken. The salad bar was excellent, all the ingredients were super fresh, and the selection was great. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious! The service was also excellent!
Friendly staff! Ariel sang happy bday to our bday guest. Great experience! Will come back again!
Beautiful, spacious venue in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Cuts of meat were delicious, and we especially appreciated that all meats were grass-fed. The salad bar and sides were plenty, but it was unclear until later in the service that we could request seconds (and thirds) or ask for specific cuts of meat to come around. It also took a while for the server to return and ask for refills on our beverages. But, having been open only three months, we look forward to returning and the restaurant being more established in its pacing.
Excellent restaurant and exceptional service. Drei and Elton went above and beyond. One can tatse the difference with the organic meat.
Salad bar is the only thing worth eating. Low quality meat , hard to chew .
Service - less than adequate, for example my guests were eating and waiter comes over, without asking if we want desert / tea coffee , hands over the bill to my guest (this is around 730 PM and place is empty , maybe 4 tables were taken), i really could not figure this out. Needless to say embarrassed in front of my guests/ client.
*Fantastic* non-chain Brazilian Steakhouse. The style and ambiance are worlds better than our other churrascaria choice - Fogo de Chao. H)
I love this place. The quality of the food is amazing. Service is spectacular. Met the owner on my last outing, you could tell he cares about the quality of the food that he is serving and he has been their each time I’ve visited. Best tasting foods can’t get enough of it.
Plan to park on the street or the near by public parking, there is no valet. We made a reservation and were seated right away. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The salad bar was very good with lots of options. They had a rice and beans but the rice bowl was empty for almost the entire time we where there. The cheese rolls where dry and hard. The meant options are great, but they are trained to give you very little. The ladies restroom was terrible. The seat is broken with old stains.
