The food was delicious but the service was fair. It took a long time for someone to even come to our table to greet us or take a drink order. It also took a while after we were done to get our check. The food did arrive quickly after taking our order and it was delicious. The pastrami egg rolls were outstanding. A little overpriced but that’s expected for being at Foxwoods.
Four of us ate here 4/18/21, for friends 49th birthday.
Horrible experience, they had no soft drinks something wrong with soda machine, no bud light, they were all out, Mic Ultra was warm, ordered a regular Cosmo, no idea what they made. As for the food, 2 pastrami sandwiches ordered, one came without cheese and both sandwiches were so fatty we couldn’t eat them. Chicken sandwich, the bacon on it was raw, Cobb salad, the bacon on that was so burnt you couldn’t eat it. Between the drinks and food terrible experience and very disappointed.
As for the service, our waiter pretty much didn’t listen when we ordered, never checked to see how everything was or if we needed anything. When we asked for the check he didn’t even ask why the majority of our food wasn’t eaten. First impressions are everything and we will never return.
Had a casual dinner on a Sunday night. Made reservations (highly recommended).
We showed up on time and were seated immediately. They follow COVID safety protocols, plexiglass shields between tables, servers masked, I noticed frequent hand-washing, and servers ensuring proper traffic flow.
The menu is smaller, which I don't mind at all.
We weren't crazy hungry so we skipped the appetizers, but wished we got the Trashcan Nachos after seeing them come out.
My wife got Guido's Tiki drink, she loved it (a tad expensive at $15). I had 2 IPAs, seemed to be a 12oz (at $8 per glass).
She had the Farm-stand salad which she said was excellent. Truly looked like it was picked up at a farm stand. She opted not to get the chicken or steak add-on. The dressing was a vinaigrette, which she liked ($12)
I ordered the American Kobe beef burger with garlic fries (for an add on of $2). It was a great concoction of beef, gouda cheese, onion strings on top of lettuce & tomato, with donkey sauce. The burger was $19. I declined the bacon add-on for $3. The burger was excellent. The fries were shoestring fries with a dusting of garlic, they were outstanding.
In summation, the price was on par with other Foxwoods restaurants, a bit of an upcharge as opposed to those you would find off property. Drinks were expensive, but good. Service was excellent, and they were friendly and gracious as they guided us through the traffic flow. Next time I'd get the trashcan nachos which looked great, and I'd get that burger again.
Food took a little longer than expected. Overall great place to eat
Honeslty I wouldn’t go here again . Food was amazing for sure but me and my boyfriend had gone for his birthday and they had suprised him with a slice of cake with a candle and simply said happy birthday after time we found they charged 15$ for slice of cake for his birthday .
Outstanding service and a solid meal. Steak frites fell a bit below expectations on the flavor of the meet but the chicken dish was outstanding. Drinks were good. Covid guidelines were followed and partitions really helped.
The food and service was good. Also got free champagne for my birthday, it was a nice birthday surprise.
Service was just ok. She didn’t come back to check on us after we received our meal. No refills on drinks. Tap water tasted funny. The plexiglass and walls were dirty/dusty. The half wall next to my head was very dusty. Myself and another member of our party, got sick that night. We both had the nachos. Not exaggerating either!
Great time
Had a great evening with the wife. The nachos in a bucket were so filling, we skipped entrees. Saved room for some amazing 7 layer cake.
Food and service were great. However, we had three different servers which made it rather difficult to request additional items for our dinner.
Good not great place.
Very bad experience with server. Julie the manager definitely needs training with handling situations between the customers and the staff. Customer is immediately in the wrong. This is totally unacceptable. Seated in corner and just sat without a server coming over. Food was just OK. Will not eat there again. This restaurant is a poor reflection of Guy.
Excellent staff. My waiter was on top of everything!!
great food , but a little disappointed when someone is allergic to cheese and wants nachos they should remove the cheese but they wouldn't
Our waitress was amazing, so attentive and positive! The food was delicious and our whole family was happy!
Excellent food and service! We will definitely eat here again.
The atmosphere was great. Limited menu and the Trash Can nachos seemed less than previous visits.
Food was delicious and the service was wonderful! Only noise was coming from the casino entrance!
During Covid and first time there. Can of Nachos served hot; Burger and Chicken sandwiches served warm (at best) and fries cold. Not impressed. Coffee yuck! Manager was nice enough to eliminate charge of chicken sandwich. That’s all I got.
We waited about a half hour before the food came out then when it got to us it was cold although delicious. The food presentation was very well done.
The food was excellent! Enjoyed the burgers and fries!! Checking into restaurant even if you had reservations was crowded and unorganized. Everything else was great!
The food was excellent, our server did an amazing job and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Fries were cold and my burger was not what I had asked for. A bit pricey too.
Not so great. Entree was cold
the brisket rolls were delicious! the nachos were out of this world!
Great food from apps, entree, to dessert. The garlic fries are a must try!!
Didn’t get waited on for 20 minutes, until my husband got up and asked a staff person for a waitress. Overall food and venue was ok, we were placed in dusty corner away from the TVs/bar. overpriced drinks
Food is good but pricey. Waitress was very good. Manager nasty and condescending. Had an issue with seating. It was resolved but she wasn’t pleasant.
Great food, drinks, ambience and the staff was very attentive!
Pastrami egg rolls amazing...turkey burger very good but everything else..meh
To be fair, we were dressed very casually, however, it shouldn't matter. I tip very well, but the tip would have been better than 37% if the service was better. Now, many would say this is too much, but I suspect they don't get great tips in this location so I still tipped well. Service was not the best, but the ambiance, food, and cleanliness was very good. I had to wait for my drink to be refilled and my sister did not get her extra sour cream as requested...later she received it after asking twice. Please do better with service!!!
If it wasn’t for the pretty good service we experienced it would most certainly receive one star. The trash can nachos were not worth $20, they significantly lacked flavor. Wasn’t impressed by the menu, which seemed to lack options. Wasn’t sure if it was because of COVID or if the menu is just small. Overall, wouldn’t go back for the food. Place was clean and service was decent though.
Expensive cold food. Been many times, and wasn't thrilled this time.
The Quality of the food should have been better for the prices. I got the steak frites the steak was bland and tough and the brussels were kind of raw the fries were ok but not fresh. I actually bought the same meal a night before at the sugar factory $10 more but totally worth it. The pastrami egg rolls are the BEST!!
The food took way to long to get to us. I waited so long I I even eat I just boxed my food and left. The price is decent The food was ok. There was basically nothing to chose from. Poor food selection
Trash can nachos were cold and pretty sure made us sick, the drinks were good, prices were high for what we got but it’s the casino and it is what it is. Not impressed
The service was exceptional! So friendly and attentive. The food was pretty bland to us. I got the cajun pasta. One of my favorites from most places. But holy cow, there was like zero flavor. My husband tried it and he said the sauce was watery. Our drinks were really good. My husband enjoyed his burger. It was supposed to be medium rare, but there was barely any pink. I was expecting a lot more from a celebrity chef restaurant and I'm kind of sad I wasted my reservation here and we didn't just go to David Burke's. Definitely not worth the price at all.
We decided to have a birthday dinner out during our recent overnight stay at Foxwoods. Dining options are very limited so Guys was the most reasonable choice for our budget and had the most variety of american fare. The options are very limited with only a few entrees to choose from and several burgers. For the price the quantity of food was there but the quality was just okay for my Cajun Pasta Alfredo. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese burger and it was covered in onions (shredded and mixed in well with the lettuce making it hard to sort out— he’s not a fan and didn’t notice it on the menu) there was also no bottom bun to be found and there was barely any Mac and cheese on the burger. He was really unhappy but we were celebrating a night out and a special occasion birthday and our server was very quick and attentive. We had an appetizer that was fantastic — pastrami egg rolls. They stole the show for sure!!
Besides from being freezing, everything was good!
