About this restaurant

Gusto is an authentic local Italian trattoria. Where friends and neighbors gather along with tourists and passers-by. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, Chef Vic Casanova is not afraid to push the envelope with bold flavors and a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The menu at Gusto is a soulful, rustic collection of seasonal and local ingredients. We proudly showcase house made artisanal pastas, fresh seafood, wood fired Neapolitan pizza, roasted & grilled meats and homemade gelato.
We offer a full bar and craft cocktail menu that celebrates Italian classics. Similarly, our wine list offers a wide selection from across Italy that pair well with our food. Presided over by Chef’s wife & General Manager, Jessa Casanova, the wine program demonstrates our love & commitment to all things Italian. We live by the Italian saying, ‘In buona salute,’ meaning, in good health and, ‘A tavola non is invecchia,’ or, at the table with good friends and family you do not become ol
