This Guapo’s gave us an excellent experience during the pandemic. Our outdoor heater wasn’t working so they tried 3 different ones until they got one that worked. They are clean, safe, very careful, & as always, good food.
Staff is always friendly and helpful.. food and drink are always excellent. Tables are socially distanced and there is lots of space inside. 10/10 would recommend.

We were able to eat outside - for a hotel parking lot, they've done a good job of making it a pleasant experience - the heat lamps are helpful and the table spacing is perfect. If it's a bit cold, suggest bringing something to sit on, as the metal chairs can hold the cold!!! Food is absolutely wonderful - as always and the staff was cheerful and accommodating!
Very nice meal! Fast service and attentive wait staff. Their white queso is delicious! I also really enjoyed the strawberry daiquiri I had to drink. Ordered their chicken burrito and was very happy with it! Big portion and came with rice, beans and salad mix

I had to come to town for medical appointments so we stopped in for dinner, great food at a great price! Usually we split meals because we don’t eat that much but we both ordered our own, Had plenty of leftovers. I got the pork tamales which was awesome; she got the chili relleno which was good too. The servers and management were very professional and prompt, everyone we interacted with from the hostess to the guy bussing the tables was in a good mood so great food with upbeat people. Can’t beat it!

Ordered a chicken nacho platter and steak fajitas with shrimp. Food was cooked right and everything came out in a timely manner. Tables are spaced out to ensure COVID precautions. Waitress was nice enough to show me how to view the menu on my phone.
The staff was constantly clean, sanitizing, and even had fans outside to keep air moving! Very impressed and will definitely be going back!

Guapo’s is still operating with limited seating and a limited menu. The margaritas are still available and still excellent. So are the tacos. We had the asada and fish tacos and they were really good. Bottled water replaces the glasses and the menu is on your phone via qr scan. There are no specials at this time.
Guapo’s has been in Bethesda for a long time and I would like to see them continue to serve the community. Stop by and have a taco.
The food was good, the restaurant was super loud, music blasting out of the overhead speakers, making it impossible to truly enjoy our dinner. Could not eat outside due to weather and the inside was dark and loud. I even asked a waiter to turn down the music but they didn't do so. It was actually painfully loud. I will not go back.
Amazing food and service , guapos is always consistent . We celebrated a birthday and had an amazing experience. We have been dining here for years and we always have a great experience.

I made a reservation for the Guapos location in Shirlington. The APP made the reservation for the Bethesda location without me changing anything. When we arrived at the Shirlington location, we were informed that this problem has been reported multiple times by the restaurant management and that Shirlington does not accept online reservations and should not even be an option in the app. We were unable to get a table and had to go somewhere else. Please fix the app!!!

Had a great outdoor dining experience at Guapos. Service could not have been more attentive. Food was so good! Quesadillas, chips and salsa, Guapos Salad w/ Grilled Chicken. All excellent. Thanks for the great meal!

Patio seating with a QR scan linked menu on tables. The menu needs to be worked on (it's clunky and incomplete) but the food was very good and service was friendly

I hadn't visited Guapos since it closed its downtown DC site. The food was tasty and the chips/salsa were outstanding. A bit noisy in the Bethesda location but almost full of diners. We stopped going to Uncle Julios in Bethesda because it became too pricy. Seems that Guapos has many of the same dishes for less. We'll try again and bring friends!
