                                                                                                                                            My family of 11, ages ranging from 69yrs to 7mths, celebrated at the Grosvenor on Mother's day. We had a great day, the staff are exceptional at the Grosvenor. They are adaptive, flexible, friendly, loving, happy and will "fix" any situation for the benefit of the customer. The food was great, it accommodated for the babies & the vegetarians as well as the carnivores. Everyone was more than happy with their meals.

Which is strange if they’re the specials. We weren’t told til after we ordered. Mistook an order and when we had to order the missed dish they said it was going to be a while like it was our fault. Food wasn’t delicious. 3 had parmas and all said was not tasty which is unusual for a Palma.

Nice tasting food and good selection, great service and good background music. Was easy to chat and then went into the bar area which is really great too for a casual chat over drinks whilst watching the footy.

We were totally disappointed with our visit to what used to be a great restaurant. Doubt that we go back even though we live less than 500m away.

                                                                                                                                            While it was a little disappointing to not have our booking in the rather special and ambient dining room honoured due to short staffing, the food was excellent as always and the staff were lovely and doing their utmost to be hospitable in hot and difficult conditions. Lucky to have this venue in our neighbourhood. Happy New Year and here’s to a successful 2022 for the Grosvenor!

Bbq lettuce. Who does that ? The mushroom sauce was also bland. It’s such an easy sauce to make tasty. Bar man dribbled the drinks over us and our table as serving but didn’t notice or apologise. Staff were lovely and friendly but could not wait to get rid of us once finished our meals. Said they were closed and we needed to leave. It was 10.00 pm on New Year’s Eve.

We take a lot of pride in sourcing quality product from our suppliers however the pricing is often out of our hands. The current price increases for us means price increases for customers.                                                                                                                                             The Grosvenor is a pub but the menu prices seem to think you’re at a serious restaurant. We were sat in the public bar, had to order from the bar and had to collect our own cutlery. The ambiance was “sports bar” with music just that touch too loud. The menu choices were good and the food was nice but the prices were ridiculous, $22 fir a Caprese salad in the entree section and that was without the cheese! That was an extra $12. The pizzas and steak and Parma were all excellent. My friends spanned crab pasta looked like an entree size. My friend said it had a very vinegar taste and there was very little crab. She was disappointed with both the size and taste of the meal 😢

Please consider fish without shellfish included. Please consider the number of people turning to a vegetarian diet is growing, as a response to a more sustainable world. Some food was ok, other meals were not; spammer crab pasta was over cooked pasta (not angelhair as listed) and entree size for main price. Wouldn’t go here again.

We weren't given a very good table though and there were plenty available near the windows. No music or TVs where we were seated and quite dark.
