We waited a little more than what we thought but the shared rib eye and lamb that came on the table along side the side dishes was absolutely sensational we couldn’t have hope for more delicious than this!!!
Food was fabulous.
Server nick was lovely , friendly and attentive.
Mel our server was fabulous! She is an asset to the venue! Food was excellent as the 600gm Eye Filet was delicious! Highly recommend!
Overall more than enjoyably. Great venue for steaks
The service was great, we felt extremely comfortable. The service was on point as was the food.
Best steak I've had for a while srvice was fantastic
Great experience - always consistently very good
Great steak. Good wine selection. Enjoyed a good meal.
Love this place for casual dining. Family friendly but suitable for couples and groups. The food is very good, not cheap but not overpriced. The service is excellent, the young waiters are friendly, efficient and very attentive.
If you live in the south, Brighton, Sandringham etc. there’s limited choice for good night time dining. The Grosvenor is very accessible being on Brighton road and there’s parking in residential streets behind. The ambiance is laid back and friendly and the menu, ( food and drinks ) extensive. Recommend booking online.
Food was excellent, but the fish dish i ordered was a bit light, I think there could have been something else added, felt not sastified at end, even though good quality. Other people i was with had steak which was a more substantial serve.
We have been to The Grosvenor many times and have always gone because they are very accommodating to food allergies and intolerances. Unfortunately this time was a real let down. I ordered a gluten free pizza base with pumpkin puree, mozzarella, goats cheese & roquette, and no onion or garlic. The chef even asked if I was okay with the butternut pumpkin seeing I was clearly fructose free. I was duly impressed, until my meal arrived and I was part way into the second piece of pizza and realised there was onion all over my meal.
Poor form Grosvenor!
Great food and service, waitress was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations.
Delicious food and friendly staff
Great weekly specials and happy hour drinks
Thoroughly enjoy our Thursday night steak special. Service was excellent, steak cooked to perfection and atmosphere great. Great location, makes it easy for us to walk, or get the tram, sometimes car parking can be a bit tight.
The food is great, it’s fairly noisy on a busy day but we really enjoyed it
We went on a Thursday night which was "steak night" so very well priced! The food was excellent! We had a beautiful Chardonnay which was lovely however quite expensive for pub prices!
Nice and quiet as our booking was for 5pm :)
Good and quick service prior to a concert.
Great fun. The trivia was fantastic - interesting, funny and very entertaining. Food was excellent. Place was buzzing
Booked a table to watch the grand final for which they advertised had specials and a tv in every room... but were seated in a corridor without a view of a tv. Decided to go elsewhere.
The table location and food were great. The wait staff were really friendly and helpful. We were disappointed by the male bartender in a striped t-shirt. He was rude and dismissive about a minor complaint that would have been easily solved towards the end of our visit which caused us to leave with a bad feeling.
I’ve been to this hotel several times, the food is consistently delicious, the service however is seriously hit and miss. On this occasion we had to wait 45 mins for a table that we made reservations for, drinks were late and the service was terrible, constantly having to ask for water to be replenished. At 10:30 the waiter asked us to leave as they were closing the section, terrible service in my opinion!
Fantastic service and great food. We had a member with food allergies and the waiter could not have been more helpful. Thank you for a great night.
We went for the Sunday roast and it was magnificent - the best Melbourne has to offer. The quality of the food was excellent, they have a fantastic drinks menu (I can recommend the cocktails) and the service was great. We had a look at the other menu options when we were there and I'll definitely be back to try it out. I can highly recommend.
We celebrated our anniversary there, and were treated very well by all staff. Great food!
Lovely meal and service. Well looked after. The only negative is the area for parking. Uber in. We will be back for more meals.
Quiet for a Friday night in the dining room - 4 of us enjoyed steak, wine and the balloon Gins as well the fantastic mousse desert. Staff were knowledgeable and accommodated a request for gluten free options.
We went for a Father's Day family meal. When we went in we were shown to a hight table which wasnt suitable with 2 small kids but there was no issue to change tables. The service was prompt, the food was lovely. It was a busy spot, given the day that was in it,but not overly noisy. Would go back again.
Awesome, great helpful service and steaks were great!
My family is always happy to go to The Grosvenor for the reliably good food, especially the steaks, the fabulous vibe and great service. We enjoy catching up with friends there because it suits both younger and older people. I wish I’d discovered The Grosvenor sooner.
The food was amazing, every single dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and so tasty. The service was outstanding, the owner (I think) was very attentive. We will definitely return. Can not fault this place!
Excellent food with a great choice for all picky eaters
Ordered burgers within minutes of each other. two burgers came quickly, last took over 20 minutes longer. Awkward.
The pork belly was sensational and the service was excellent. A great meeting place.
Burgers, Shnitzels, pizza are all good.
Steak....OMG can you overprice a suburban pub anymore than they do here. Give me a France Soir, or Bistro Thierry any day quality wise and they are cheaper. Bistro Guillaume is on par price wise and far better quality wise. Grosvenor is ok for anything but their way way overpriced cuts of meat.
Great service, friendly staff and delicious meals. Perfect venue for a small family dinner
Great, friendly service. Fantastic alcohol menu. Yummy food.
Food came out quickly. Wait staff were patient and friendly.
Cosy spot to have lunch on a Sunday. Steaks we had were cooked to order as requested which was great. Quality was also good. Service was friendly. Not the cheapest but not outrageous either.
We had a lovely meal. One of the best steaks I have had in a long time. The service was also very good. I our experience was marred however by our very noisy neighbours. There were lots of young children who were extremely noisy and not supervised by their parents.
Great food, service and place I have been a few times now and will continue to.
Great steaks! And everything else. We had 6 extra friends turn up and the staff sorted it perfectly. All food was good and the service was exceptional.
