Grill Off the Green
We went on a Saturday afternoon so the restaurant was empty but had brilliant late lunch. Wine was good and the steak cooked to perfection
We visited on 15th January 2020 and were very pleased that nothing had changed from when it was the Kew Grill. Some dishes on the menu are different but the food was outstanding in quality and taste. The staff are an asset to this restaurant and are always friendly and approachable. We look forward to many more visits!
This is the former Kew Grill but now owned exclusively by Antony Worrall Thompson. It’s been spruced up a bit and still has the same excellent head chef and restaurant manager. The main difference is that the menu is more varied and interesting than it was although there’s still some very good classic grill meat cuts on there too. It remains a really nice place to eat with good but not stuffy service, which is just how we like it.
Great food and particularly great steaks.
Anyone who was a fan of the old Kew Grill will really enjoy this reboot.
The staff really care about the customers and the food. This new venture deserves to be a big success.
So happy that Kew Grill has reopened as Grill off the Green. Same great menu, food and team. Pricey but worth it.
Our favourite restaurant by far. Excellent service, friendly and efficient staff. The best steak you will ever taste. A great menu and wonderful environment.
Good to know the team are still going strong. Excellent dinner, great service- well done everyone!
We have visited many times, when known as the Kew Grill. now renamed a wee bit hard to find on line, but the food and service as good as ever. well worth a visit. I, rather unusually had the Fish - Monk Fish, with a lovely Hollandaise sauce - simply and beautifully cooked.
