We had a lovely lunch, food was good (ordered the 1st set menu - Pork Belly and shared all three entrees). Didn't feel rushed, good wine list, very relaxed. And staff were very attentive and helpful.
The service here is the best on the coast and always has been. Congratulations guys.

The Green Zebra is always such a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend a visit to this Coast restaurant.
It was a lovely setting with a nice view of the lake. The food was very well presented and tasty. My only comment would be that the distance between table could be increased. With the both tables on either side of us occupied the backs of our chairs were touching which made it difficult to leave the table. Otherwise a very pleasant lunch.
Food was great .... I really should have stopped eating after my main but the Banofee pie was too tempting and very nice. I have a girls day out booked at the same place next week and I am looking forward to the squid salad
The service was fantastic. We really enjoyed our entrees of salt and pepper squid and croquettes. The wagyu was cooked to perfection. Would definitely dine again
Shared some entrees, delicious, mains were rump steak, fettuccine marinara, fish of day - all of which were superb and flavoursome. Only small disappointment was pork belly - a little dry. Cocktails were great! Highly recommend this restaurant. 530 booking was perfect to enjoy the sunset on the beach.
Fantastic atmosphere, very lovely and helpful staff, and of course great food.
Very pleasant and look forward to further visits . Only drawback was having to park car some distance away in side street .
I would definitely return to enjoy good food here again. The location is tucked away right on the water at Kawana, with a lovely ambience and decor. The food was good and the service attentive. The only thing we were not comfortable with is when we went to pay the waitor asked us to consider adding a tip to our bill. We would prefer to make that decision ourselves without being asked.
I had the beer battered Dory which I thought was quite good, salad v good as were the chips.
My wife had the beef souvlaki which she was not entirely happy with and offered me her last piece. It was rubbery, spongy and inedible. this surprised me because the general presentation of the food was pretty good, but that bit was awful.
If our assessment of the restaurant was based on that one piece of beef, I doubt we'd be coming back.
We had desserts which were the best we'd had for some time.

I would rate Green Zebra as one of my favourite restaurants on the coast.
However... two people in my party of 6 ordered the Crispy Skin Pork Belly and both said “it was not very crispy”.
I still gave 5 ⭐️ as mine was delicious!
We don't dine out often these days so keep to old favourites. Green Zebra has always been one. Recent lunch was one of the best. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the position, on the beach, is perfect.
I have suddenly acquired various food intolerances and chose items from the menu that I normally would have ignored. My main of fried cauliflower in red curry was exceptional, as was the coconut pannacotta.
They make great margaritas too.

Our booking was late on a busy Sat night. Reception was quick and considerate. Drinks (beer and wine) were satisfactory, although wine glass was small. Main courses (fish and chips and barramundi) were good. Table service was obliging and prompt. All in all an enjoyable visit.
This was our first visit to Green Zebra and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and everyone was most helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and overall it was a fitting way for us to spend our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Thank you.

Have been here many times but this time after more than a year or so. Good place with good ambience and good service. But I found my seafood pasta was very ordinary. Flat and insipid. My wife had calamari which was rubbery. Success of a good restaurant is in the quality of food and not in the large number of diners. This is a good restaurant and you can do better.
Lovely venue, good staff. We were position between 2 very large tables, so difficult to hear our conversations until one table left. Lunch specials good value. Majority of mussels in pasta were not opened probably uncooked.
All things considered, look forward to going again once menu is changed.

Booked on line and process was very simple with a number of reminders. Seating was perfect and cool despite it being a warm day. Welcoming and genuinely friendly staff. Plenty of choices on menu including vegetarian and gluten free choices. Food tasty and interesting. Excellent value for money.
