Our name? Green Zebra is a variety of heirloom tomato. Simple as that! Quirky, fun and vibrant; a name people will affiliate with food, and not forget in a hurry.

    Although the Restaurant appeared fully booked we did not any stage feel neglected or hurried along. Staff were professional, patient and respectful and meals were a credit to the Chefs. Meals were delivered in very quick time and we were asked when we wanted our next course brought out. Overall a very pleasurable meal eaten in very attractive surrounds.

    Great experience as usual however I feel like staff need abit more training with drinks, serving a glass of $18 of sparkling wine that clearly looks flat when poured was not right to be served to any customer I watched the bar man pour the glass it was the last in the bottle I sent it back and told them it was flat. It was easily fixed but could have been avoided if you knew there were no bubbles when you first poured the glass. Drinks sat on the bar once poured for a good 12-15 mins after being poured the restaurant was not busy at all it was our table of 4 people and another table of 3 people. I got up to say our drinks have been sitting on the bar for a while but the lady said yes I know I am getting to them just not a quick turn around time for drinks. For a bottle of sparkling wine $89 mind you to be sitting there on the bar just abit of time management thinking would have been helpful. Not even apology to say no worries I will grab you another one it was a look of ohh.. and took it away. Another issue I seen was a group of old aged customers came in and sat down someone (staff member) took the wheelie walker away from the table but didn’t tell the customer who took it and where they put it, long story short the customer ended up moving tables to then he said where was my walker the waiter then said I don’t know maybe you loved it the customer said no I put it just there someone has moved it. The waiter found the walker near the front door out of the way of other customers and came back to tell the customer it’s just over there if you want to go get it. Mind you the customer could hardly walk was holding onto the back of another customers chair. I think showing a little bit of compassion goes along way the poor customer ended telling the waiter to go get the walker and bring it to me.

    There is a sign out front of the restaurant that states there’s an “early bird discount. Monday to Friday. All main meals $35. In at 5pm and out by 6:30pm”. We drive past this sign daily as we recently moved to the area. I took my husband to dinner there tonight and booked for 5pm. Upon paying, they quoted full price. I asked about the early bird discount and was told I have to say the words “early bird discount” to the waitress when ordering or when booking the table - there is NO mention of this on their website or on the sign out front. My husband asked if the meal is the same if you have the discount or if you pay full price and was told the meal is exactly the same. The manager refused to change the price and said that it can’t be done because it’s already been put into the system at full price - I guarantee there’d be a way to change it but he was too rude to.

    Steak delicious, snapper and chips average to previous visits (chips greasy) kids chicken meal ok, less chips than previous chicken ok. Dessert share plate faultless! Absolutely delicious. Service awesome! Friendly, polite and efficient.
