Green Pig Bistro (GPB) serves up a fusion of French and American cuisine. Guests can start their dining experience with appetizers such as a crispy quinoa cakes with goat cheese, or the signature buffalo ribs with blue cheese dressing. GPB embraces a seasonal menu of hearty entrées, sourcing most ingredients locally to satisfy the palate. It has a casual setting, with a lively and energetic vibe and delicious farm to table food prepared in an open kitchen, totally unique craft cocktails, amazing service and a one-of-a-kind style. GPB is open for Happy Hour every day from 3pm-5pm, Dinner every day from 5pm-close, and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2:30pm. Reservations highly encouraged. Reservations not accepted for Happy Hour - just stop in!

I really enjoyed my time at the Green Pig. I did feel the main dining room was too enclosed and wondered if there could be anything done to improve ventilation-- perhaps closing the kitchen with glass so the fumes do not overwhelm the dining area, and you still get the open kitchen concept which is nice.
I love visiting The Green Pig! The food has creative flair with amazing taste. When I want to introduce my people to great dine with family/friends, maybe a cocktail with excellent service and amazing food, I choose The Green Pig! Do yourself a favor and join them for Brunch- you won't be disappointed!
Looking for some place open for Thanksgiving dinner and this place turned out to be quite the gem! Food quality and service were excellent and prices were decent. Would recommend!

We enjoyed a delightful Thanksgiving lunch at Green Pig Bistro, including a beautiful and fantastic pumpkin bisque, traditional turkey dinners, a scallops entree, and very tasty as well as cute individual pumpkin pies. The whole menu was well thought out, and provided plenty of choices for anyone and everyone. Our waiter and servers were top notch. Our plates were beautiful, and portions were generous. We were comfortably seated outside, with a heater, while the inside diners looked and sounded very happy, too. The restaurant and surrounding neighborhood are charming. We will look forward to returning, and have already recommended it to others.
Green Pig Bistro is our favorite restaurant. But don't take our word for it: Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema loves it, too. This is our go-to place for special occasions and for casual get-togethers. For seafood, and for steaks. For friendly service, and for good times. Two thumbs up (both of them greasy from the “Buffalo” baby back pork ribs with blue cheese dressing). Enjoy!

Bartender was amazing, but food servers forgot about us and made mistakes. Ex: We asked for no anchovies on Caesar salads and both had them. We asked for a fork and he never came back. Had to eat meal with a spoon. We were never asked how our food was or if we’d like more drinks. I had to flag him down to get the check.
Dinner was good but not as good as it use to be.
Poor service. Often had to flag down server for drinks or the order. When I asked for an old fashioned, the server said they “ran out” ?! Of what? Bourbon?!
Food was overpriced for okay food. The service was fantastic though.

Our party of 7 enjoyed a great meal on a weekday evening. Service was great, the waiter was always available even as he served several tables outdoors. The staff was very accommodating to turn on the heaters for us. We enjoyed the food very much. From soup to entrees everything was delicious! We would go back again.

Brunch was excellent. Quality of food was great - I don’t always find options in Arlington as good as DC but this is one of the best. Chicken and waffles (angry bird), cinnamon roll, shrimp and grits - all excellent. Everyone on staff is very nice and friendly but service was slow and seemingly distracted by chatter. I think we were initially forgotten after being seated until I got up to ask who our server was. Aside from those kinks, excellent arlington restaurant. Please try the smoked old fashioned! Best in town.
Came to Green Pig Bistro for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The menu has options for everyone and breaks down dietary restrictions in a great way. Amazing wine selection as well. The food was stellar, from the appetizer to the dessert. We got the deviled eggs which may have been the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had. We also split a ribeye for two and it was a great value. The sides were delicious and it was so much food we couldn’t even finish everything. For dessert we got the cake of the day which was a double layer chocolate cake, and even though we were already full, we could not stop taking bites. Amazing service throughout our dinner, with staff that truly care for the patrons and ensure everyone has the best experience possible. This may become a new staple date night spot and I cannot wait to come back.
This place DOES NOT MISS. One of my all time favorites in the dc area and definitely top 3 meals in Arlington. I’ll always recommend Green Pig Bistro!
Older inside than the outside temp. Asked wait staff to turn off the ac, but nothing happened.
I’ve been a frequent patron of GPB, and love it. However yesterday 11/2, the lunchtime manager made my group of two moms and two toddlers feel uncomfortable. We were seated at the back of the empty dining room for 11:30am lunch, and yet towards the end of our meal the manager told us we were disturbing customers and asked us to silence our children. Our kids we’re making noises but certainly not having a meltdown. This leads me to believe that GPB is not family friendly, if they can’t tolerate kids at 11:30am on a Tuesday in a nearly empty restaurant, when is the best time to go? Kids make noise, it comes with the territory. I’m disappointed that I feel unwelcome there with my kids now, since I used to love dining there.
Nice to find a neighborhood place that has so much to offer! Service was very personable but not intrusive. The walls are covered with pages from recipe books and the food reflects that passion. Terrific pasta, schnitzel, and cassoulet. And they really know how to make authentic sticky toffee pudding!!

For brunch, the croque madame waffle is great! I wish the side of fries had more "full" fries as opposed to just crispy ends.
Love Brunch here- everything is good. I usually get the shrimp and grits which is filled with flavor, but I changes it up and got the avocado toast- and it didn’t disappoint. So delicious - the pickled onions were a nice touch with the slices avacado and salmon. Service was attentive and noise level was good. All around a great experience.

Food Superb as always - brought my parents and friends who were in from out of town, despite kitchen a tad slow the restaurant overcame with a few unsolicited offers of extras and truly made for a wonderful evening. I will continue to highly recommend this restaurant, we are lucky to have it in Arlington!!

I heard good things about The Green Pig, I’m from out of town, and it lived up to it's reputation.
I've never said (or typed) this, and likely never will again. The bathroom smelled great! 😂 The smell of bacon was coming through the vents, I suppose! The bathroom was also very clean, a good indication of the rest of the operation.
The BLT was tasty and the service was very solid. The server was present, but not overly so.
We had a dinner reservation for the outside patio. Because of approaching storms, they called to ask if they could move us inside. Our waiter Matt was excellent and made great recommendations on entrees and desserts. Service was well paced and the food was piping hot and delicious. Post-Covid restaurant experiences have often been disappointing-we we’re delighted with everything at The Green Pig tonight.
