Went back for the best chicken and waffles
Overall good food. I had to send my veal chop back because it was too rare, but not a big deal. The tuna, avocado appetizer was awesome.
The staff is friendly.
I dined with a friend on a Wednesday evening. The place was packed and energetic, but in a good way -- there was plenty of personal space to enjoy the meal and have a good conversation. The service was friendly and food came out reasonably quickly given the crowd. The food was great, something like comfort food with an emphasis on pork. Be warned that if you do not like pork this is not the place for you! Good beer and mixed drink selection would make this a good after-work spot to enjoy some time with colleagues.
charming menu, decoration, waitstaff, hostess. A trendy place and my current go-to place in Arlington
Yum! Sitting at the chef’s table with a view into the kitchen was mesmerizing. Each dish is plated with precise certainty and looks better than the one before it. Well balanced dishes and thoughtful menu. Incredible how this restaurant mixes fine dining with the casual weeknight experience. Great for “just because” nights out and celebrations.
We had brunch on a rainy Sunday so it wasn’t too busy and the noise level wasn’t bad, service was good. Chicken and waffles and cinnamon buns were awesome, smoked salmon benedict was just ok.
It was freezing in the restaurant and our service was fair to poor. Very slow and not attentive. Our server switched halfway through but with no communication which I thought was odd, and because we were a party of 6 the gratuity was automatically added at 20%. I normally tip 20% or more but in this case I would not have. Food was great and I’ve had great experiences here in the past but this was not a good one.
Service is excellent
The branzino was perfect with veggies and a beautiful presentation. Hubby loved the pork chop. Coconut pie was the perfect finish. Easy parking. Great location.
Great service, sat outside, wine and small plates are the best!!
Service was very poor. We waited 30 minutes for a simple meal and our server was nowhere to be found for even water refills. The restaurant’s ambiance was very loud. It is not what it used to be when it first opened.
Great spot for brunch. The hightop table reservation is the perfect vibe for family style dining. Food was excellent and the brunch drink options were all very good. It got really busy while we were there but the service was great the whole time. It is hard to find parking so make sure to give yourself a bit of time to find a street spot before your reservation.
The food generally was delicious. The kare kare was disappointing and the apple tart too sweet. Service was good and loved the relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly go back!
Green Pig Bistro remains one of the best restaurants in Northern VA. Previously they treated us right for an Anniversary and a large group dinner. This visit was to entertain for a work event. Service was great. Food was even better than I remembered. And we all enjoyed our evening.
We had to move from a table to the bar as it was so noisy we couldn’t hear the waitress or each other. The bar was better (less noisy), but busy so service OK. Food was excellent.
It is a really trendy place with an interesting menu and very nice wait staff. The sign to help women (ask for Angela) is a wonderful touch. If you want a quiet evening out then it is a little too noisy. Brunch on other days is fantastic.
Had dinner here on a Saturday night. This place is really great and right near a really nice part of town. The chicken biscuits appetizer was really good!! All our food was delicious, the service was good and the experience was great. Highly recommend.
The food was great! Love the Filipino twist in the American-ish cuisine. Will definitely go back and try the other daily specials!
Maybe we hit on an off night, near closing time, but food was unimpressive after all the great reviews. Our bacon cheeseburger, requested medium rare, came well done, with bacon mixed into the burger. Would not have ordered if we'd known. Not nearly as yummy as a couple of hot crispy slices on top. And what looked like American cheese. Not on a $16 burger. Daughter's kale salad was good. The fried chicken biscuits with honey and hot sauce were lathered in flaming hot sauce and biscuits were more like buns. The coffee cheesecake was not a classic, dense cheesecake, more like a mousse, but was very good. Our three craft cocktails were quite good, but very expensive. Waitress polite but not exceptional service. All around a very decent, if pricey, place to dine. Wouldn't go out of my way to return. Kitchen needs some feedback.
Food was good, but pricey and extremely noisy. Hidden cost with drinks such as lemonade, $5 every glass where as we were just told $5 for one with refills
I went to the Green Pig to celebrate my birthday and it didn't disappoint - great food, great vibe - highly recommend for large groups and will definitely be back for a date night or two!
Boring food, bad service, super noisy. Waste of a good location.
Like a lot of other reviewers, our app order never came, entrees were overpriced for what you get, (microwaved blandness) and the acoustics are so bad, you have to yell to be heard over the din. Wait staff overwhelmed.
So many better restaurants within walking distance: Lyon Hall, Citizen Burger - much better for same price range or less.
Great food. Nice portions for brunch. Very happy with the service. Overall a great experience.
Absolutely phenomenal - went for a friends 50th and loved everything we ordered
Amazing food, but was a little too loud
My fiancé and I had a very poor dining experience. The food was very good and the wine list was excellent. The service was barely adequate. I don’t think the waitress understands her clientele. There was no apology for getting our appetizer order wrong and she was baffled by our switching tables because of the loud couple shouting at each other over their dinner. In retrospect the couple was just trying to be heard over the deafening din of the dining room.
We will not go back again unless it’s deserted.
Price is slightly high if compared with similar restaurants. Staff was nice. A little too noise.
Great service and a meal to die for. Wonderful gastronomical experience will be returning.
Pasta dish with veal and pork meatballs was outstanding.
Just a wonderful experience in totality. From walking in the door to the moment we left. Food, service, and ambience were just amazing. Every plate was cleared. I’ve found my new go-to place for out of town guests! Try the pickles. Even a non-pickle person like me enjoyed them thoroughly!
I had two other, better, experiences here. Based on those previous trips, I still recommend checking it out.
Great brunch menu! Love that they have a smaller menu of choices. Wish they had bottomless Mamosa’s.... $9/glass is really steep!!!
Fun atmosphere and great cocktails! The fried chicken sliders were a great appetizer with lots of flavor, but the chicken sous-vide entree was average.
Zack the server was great.
Pleasant knowledgeable fast
Green Pig is always excellent. The food is great; so is the service and ambience.
It’s a convenient location. It happened to be really loud and oddly understaffed the last time there. Hasn’t been understaffed in previous visits, though always loud. Service was particularly slow and inattentive last visit. Food is consistently solid. Not out of this world, but a good meal. Apps and salads a bit overpriced. Has a good vibe and will continue to visit.
I indicated on my reservation that it was my wife's birthday, but there was zero acknowledgement. Otherwise great food and service, but a shout out would have been appreciated.
We have been coming since it opened 5 or so years ago now. Brunch or dinner, always pleased with the quality and selection of food.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was wonderful!
Our server started out great and then after he brought us our food he disappeared. He never came by to ask us if we wanted anything else. In fact, my husband had to go find him to ask for a dessert menu. It was very strange.
