Food was good, a little pricey for its value. Waitress could be more COVID cautious but instead she was touching a lot of surfaces and even touched my phone to enter in my payment when I offered to read her the info, I should have pressed on saying no, made her very uncomfortable. Won’t returning due to not covid cautioye
Amazing service and delicious food, the appetizers were our favorite, but it was all great!
fun happy hour
I enjoyed my zucchini noodle entree. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant.
It was amazing! The place is back to their former glory - the food was perfectly prepared, both in quality and timing. Highly recommend!
very good ! the truffle butternut squash soup was incredible
Our wait person was very pleasant...attentive. Good food. For a short time, the music level was such that hearing conversation was challenging, but it was soon turned down. Great neighborhood place to dine!
We LOVE Grappa! We have eaten there five times in two weeks; had different dishes each time; all good!
First time dining here but my friend comes here often and now I know why! The food was amazing and I was impressed with the service. The drinks were always promptly refilled and everyone was super attentive. One of the managers was training someone in the background and you could tell how much they care about the details. Great to see that! Thanks for a great experience and delicious food!!
Grappa never fails to please. I look forward to my next visit. I appreciate the friendliness of the servers, the food is outstanding, the wine list good, and the atmosphere is very appealing. I often tell my friends about Grappa and they invariably enjoy their experience, too. Keep up the good work!
What a relief to finally dine out, and at a neighborhood spot that is unabashedly COVID-savvy at the door. The food was amazing, the wild salmon perfectly barely cooked. It was a bit noisy but we're used to shouting by now and with distancing from others could remove our masks. There were a couple of celebratory parties and we were surprised that so many people all live in one house. ;-)
Great food on the menu! You have a fabulous staff and the service was impeccable!!
We had a great out door dining experience. The waitstaff accommodated us beyond reason letting us talk and catch up to closing. The food was amazing and loved the ambiance. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant!!
Great place for a good meal in Queen Anne District. Service was great and drinks were great!
The food was incredible! The cocktails weren't really for me.
Grappa accommodated COVID and super unhealthy air quality due to wildfires. They offered great service and delicious food. We’re a fan!
Excellent food! Amazingly delicious. Definitely get the seafood risotto and the grilled octopus.
Second time here on a Friday night. Great service and very friendly environment. The food did not disappoint. I highly recommend making reservations
Awesome food and service. We went with another couple and had an amazing dinner. I have found Grappa to be a consistently good experience.
Such delicious food at Grappa. They have the best tiramisu in town and I love the seasonal gnocchi.
We had a lovely dinner here- would recommend the food and beverages, for sure! Especially loved the grilled octopus.
Wonderful food, wonderful service! Our waitress had wonderful recommendations!
fabulous food and service! great neighborhood option with strong covid prevention measures. highly recommend.
Great apps and excellent, friendly service. Interesting takes on some classic pasta dishes. A bit heavy on the sauce at times.
Lovely. Order plates to share. Grappa flights are intense!! Seafood risotto a must!!
Visit with my daughter who lives in Queen Anne
Above average neighborhood restaurant. Small restaurant in upper Queen Anne. Interesting food perfectly prepared. It's not fancy, but it is good! (And, very nice people)
Overall very nice. Food was outstanding. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. There was some confusion from the host around getting seated for our reservation, in which he assumed we were part of a treble of walk ups, and dismissed us a little impatiently when we approached. After another host seated us, he realized his mistake and was apologetic. Not a huge deal, but didn’t set the best tone.
This is my second time at Grappa. The food is great. I feel the pricing is a little high for the service level and drinks, but it’s not outrageous considering the high rent location. No doubt I’ll be back. Great food, location, and space. Service is solid and on the casual side. Not the greatest overall value but the dishes we had were outstanding. A solid choice for a nice, casual but upscale meal.
Great food, ambiance and staff!!
Amazing meal and wonderful staff. The staff took all safety precautions to make the evening safe and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
This is my second time going in about two weeks. I definitely have enjoyed the food both times! I will say that, while delicious, some of the items are a bit overpriced. We got the burrata and tomatoes, which was $16. It tasted great, but I was pretty surprised that the dish had four small slices of tomatoes on it with the burrata, and that they charged that much for it. I would’ve love to see some more tomatoes on the plate! I will, however, 100% be going back!
A rare treat to find gazpacho! Food and service were both great. Would totally go back.
Wonderful ambiance, food was excellent. Very friendly staff.
Drinks and food were very good. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, however, she was very sweet.
Our friend had the Turkish coffee at the end of the meal and had her fortune read. That was the highlight of the night.
We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
Sea scallops piccata very good. Lasagne very good. Calamari starter was good, but way too much heat, to the point that the main flavors were somewhat obscured. Service very good but slow--I suspect they were understaffed. Noise level deafening--whatever happened to quiet restaurants?
This place looks great, and the food is delicious. It’s perfect for a date, special occasion, evening with friends. Also they have happy hours, which works great for just a regular dinner. This place is a bit pricy though, but it’s normal for places like this.
The wait times can be improved, at least that was the case before the COVID times.
overpriced. One octopus tentacle was $24 and 2 prosciutto wrapped scallops were $28. pretty crazy
The wait staff person was very attentive and responded to our requests in a friendly manner. Really enjoyed our dinner.
The food was not at its best. We ordered a paella and i believe we got jambalaya instead. It did say spicy but paellas are not THAT spicy. the rice was brown and watery. Rice in paellas is yellow. The taste was not even close to what a paella tastes like. Not coming back.
