A bit disappointed as had to wait for a booking so was expecting a better meal.
We were a party of four and only one person really enjoyed the meal. The swordfish and aubergine dish was really nice. Portions are quite small which means you need to order a side dish which increases the bill. Nice venue and staff.

It was our first time attending Grano and we will definitely return. To begin, we shared some Crostini which was served with a very spicy sausage on a burner. For starters, I had the Meatballs which were fab! My girlfriend Emma had the Mackerel. Our mains were both amazing Pasta dishes. For Dessert, I had the Tiramisu. I have no hesitation recommending Grano. The whole experience was nice and relaxed from start to finish. We enjoyed a nice bottle of White Wine (Grillo) from Sicily. Price wise, the food and drink was very reasonable. Looking forward to heading back to Grano again!

Pasta dishes are the star of the show here. The spaghetti with black truffle is outstanding.

We spend a lot of time in Italy and Grano is the closest thing in Dublin to an authentic Italian restaurant.

Tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch and fell in love with it. Great food, authentic Italian taste and superb flavour. The tiramisu was stunning, melt in the mouth yum. I’ll definitely be returning as I would like to explore the evening menu and ambience. Looking forward to it already.

It was my second time here and once again the food was super. This was lunch rather than dinner so it was quieter but still had a very nice buzz.

Booked about a week in advance for a Wednesday night and glad we did. By 7.30pm the compact, but cosy, dining room was packed.

Opted for some shared nibbles / starters to begin with. The Scandalduja spreadable sausage was delicious with a serious kick off it. The burrata and culatta was delicious but the Lardo di Mora was a little underwhelming.

For mains I had the Amatriciana Di Maiale Nero which was a little on smokey side for me, while the other half had the Papardelle al ragú Di Cinghiale which from the few mouthfuls I tasted was tasty!

Full after all that it was a shared deconstructed cannolo for dessert - divine!

Grano is the perfect restaurant for every occasion. The warm welcome and personal service is so in keeping with any trattoria you will experience in Italy. Roberto is a wonderful host and made my mother feel very special for her birthday. This is all before even commenting on the delicious food, excellent wine list and beautiful ambience. It honestly does not get better than this!

We are locals and have been to Grano 4 times. We’ve enjoyed each sitting thoroughly. Three generation, our party of 7, last Saturday - the food, staff and wine were super. Fresh ingredients and helpful staff.
We hope to see new items on the menu so we can continue to try new things. Keep up the good work with simple yet interesting honest food coz you do it very well.

Very relaxing restaurant serving tasty food. A friendly and efficient waitress helped with menu choices. Dessert was scrumptious. Stoneybatter residents are so lucky to have this restaurant in their midst. Will definitely be back for the food and the wine. MS.

Food was lovely but tables are quite squashed and we could hardly hear ourselves speak with a very loud and drunken table of 6 beside us!

I had big expectations! It's really hard to find a nice italian restaurant where food is good in taste and quality products. I would say products were really good quality but no taste! It's not likely that I will be back to this restaurant!

The food was great, the service was excellent and very friendly. The only problem was it was a bit noisy, it is a small space and it was full so it was not necessary to have music blaring. We were two and seated in the middle of the room, at times we had difficulty hearing one another. But would definitely go again.

Real genuine Italian, real tastes, original ingredients. Antipasti and "fileja" (a typical pasta from the Calabria region, hand made here) with 'nduja and black olives are unbeatable.

First time I visited with a friend we both had the set menu great value & very tasty. We also had starter from the a la carte which was tasty. Had a bottle of wine really nice & coffees were excellent. Service could have been a bit better particularly as the restaurant was not full. We had to ask for an ice bucket for the wine & more water. Small gripes overall very good we will come back.

Grano restaurant in Stoneybatter is definitely worth a visit. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff very welcoming and work effortesly in a small space. The freshly made pasta, which you see being made and cut to order is lovely. Definitely worth booking a table.
