All friendly staff
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and dining experience with Granite Belt Brewery. Their staff were very friendly and informative and would gladly recommend them to others travellers.
The food can be rated as fine dining. We had a 3 course meal. The duck salad is exceptional, light and tender duck and the dressing is delicious. Main course of pork belly and steak dishes were nicely cooked. Great desserts. The 3 course was well proportioned and presented.
My wife and I enjoyed the venue very much and have often gone there for breakfast we also had our 50th wedding anniversary there.
Despite those disruptive times, it is still a very nice place to eat out. They have a set menu (with few options to choose from) and pricing is very good. Friendly atmosphere. I have and will continue to recommend it. :)
Great food! Great service from friendly staff. Will definitely go again!
Great service, great food, good ambience, drinks were delicious
Overall we enjoyed the venue and the food and beverages, but in the 3 hours we were there (5.30pm-8.39pm) the 4 of us didn’t see any joy or smiles from the staff at all.
Honestly the staff looked miserable and yet it wasn’t to full capacity.
The service was just OK.
I never usually do reviews but this place definitely needs new staff, or teach them to smile inside & out.
The guy behind the bar was nice but the 2 female waitresses seemed to drown his chance of showing happiness. They seemed so down.
Had a wonderful lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely staff.
This rating is a little harsh. The ambience and service were fine, as was most of the food. The main problem was that the vegetables were cold.
Beer selection was a bit restricted (given Covid 19 impact, understandable). Food and service very good. We liked everything so much, we returned the next day for lunch. Thoroughly recommend.
Amazing food and great value, very reasonable prices for tasting paddles and take home beers!! Would go there weekly if we lived in the area
Had a great dinner at Granite Belt Brewery. The food was delicious, service was quick, polite and unobtrusive. The beers were a highlight and I'd definitely recommend asking about meal pairing. Great value at $60 for 3 courses plus drink!
Delicious meals and very well organized especially with COVID. We didn’t realize it was a set menu (drink, lunch and dessert for $35) but it was no problems as there was still enough variety in the meal choices for everyone to like something. Definitely recommend as a stop in when staying in Stanthorpe and surrounds!
We really enjoyed our visit. The table service was excellent and the meals were great. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband makes up for that. He said the beer was great. We sat out on the deck in the sun which was lovely. The only thing I would like differently would be to have some music playing to create more of an atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Good quality food at a great price. Would definitely eat there again.
We had to wait a little while after the reservation time an then we had to wait until orders were taken. However the quality of the food was excellent. Soup for the starter was full of flavour, while the chicken roulade with accompaniments was excellent. Sticky date pudding made it a well rounded meal
The 3-course $60 per person set menu offered 3 options within each course.
The food was very delicious and nicely presented. We chose the earlier sitting time of 5.30pm which gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and drinks before the next sitting at started at 7.30pm. Be sure to try one of the seasonal in-house brewed beers, we had the Pear & Ginger which was lovely. We were staying overnight at their Log Cabins, so was handy having a restaurant of this high calibre within walking distance of our accommodation.
First up, must say that the food was delicious, and portion sizes were more than enough!
However, the two hour break between the entree and the main course was a killer. This occurred without us being informed that the timed dinner sittings would not apply. We had to request drinks and then had to follow up that request to ensure those drinks arrived while we were eating the main course.
For a set menu, and at a price of $60 per head we felt let down by the slow service and lack of communication.
Great food, good value, sat by the fire enjoyed the service and ambience
Would definitely recommend. Really good value and will be going back
The food was delicious ! Dinner was a 3 course set menu and also specials options. Super yummy, generous meal. Desserts were hard to choose between! Wine, beers and fireplace - great place and lovely team, would recommend.
The staff were not very friendly at all. We had booked the dinner about a month before hand and at the booking time the menu looked great. However when we arrived we where told that they were doing a set menu only and it was $60.00 per head. This was very disappointing. We did arrive for our booking early (about 35 mins) and we were made to feel that it was a very big inconvenience for us to do this. We were happy to sit and have drinks but the staff did not offer this and then had us wait about 10 minutes and then they seated us at our table. The staff had what could only be described as an attitude of us being there was an inconvenience to them and we should hurry up and eat and leave. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
Couldn't fault the food, superb quality.
Staying with a dog is always tricky, especially when it's so cold having to eat all meals outside. Maybes more outside burner s would help. Overall we would return in a heart beat. 👍
Awesome place near Stanthorpe to visit , great ambiance, food and of course their beers. Very nice selection of local wines. The atmosphere was fantastic with fires burning as it reached 3 degrees and didn't feel the cold. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Granite Belt Region.
Overall a good experience. Service was a bit slow which we were worried about knowing we only had a limited time at the table. Food was delicious and plentiful - big serves! The sticky date pudding was amazing. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and for being so lovely and welcoming.
So much food we couldn't eat it all. Devine. Definitely worth a visit
What a lovely experience... highly recommend this spot
Good food good service& exceptional atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal & time at the Granite Belt Brewery.
Great lunch at Granite Belt Brewery. Food was delicious, service was friendly and efficient. Was great to visit on a cold wet day. Well definitely be back.
Beautiful little spot with lovely ambience, great food and beer, definitely recommend.
Great food, great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
Had a fantastic lunch! Will definitely be coming back!
Very comfortable and inviting. The wood fire set the atmosphere right from the beginning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! My husband was very impressed with the different beers available. Will be coming back here again. Thank you.
We always enjoy coming here , the beer selection is always interesting and very good. The food was excellent , great winter weather food .
Had the set Winter 3 Course menu. Food was great, with generous portions.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely come back next time I am in the area.
The set menu was great value for money with a drink, main and dessert for $35 . Booking online was easy .
The craft beer , local wine and measles and dessert were tasty . Great options for those needing to eat Gluten free .
Visited on a Saturday. Booking essential. Service outstanding - professional and friendly.
Food - value for mobey and a good variety of choices.
Drinks - plenty to choose from.
Ambience - relaxing, quite, almost German beer ha feel. Loved it.
