Benny was our server and is incredible. The outdoor section they set up is charming, it's hard to believe you're just sitting on East Hartsdale Ave (they set up plants, lights, and portable heat lamps). Food is delicious, everything tastes freshly made.
Went last week Sunday to have lunch with 3 coworkers I had not seen since March. Everything was tasty from the appetizers to the dessert. Make sure you leave room for dessert! The wait staff were attentive but not intrusive as we spent almost 3 hours drinking and dining. The were also diligent with making sure they were complying with the socially distant table placings as well as providing hand sanitizer on every table. Of course, masks are required upon entering until seated. The food was absolutely delicious and did not disappoint. I first had a refreshing drink called the part-time lover. We all tried a variety of food like the scallops over risotto (substituted with arugula) caprese salad for apps and the lamb w/fingerling potatoes, soppresata wood-fire pizza, short-rib ragu gnocchi and the spaghetti carbonara for main courses. We all had the lava cake with ice cream for dessert. What a beautiful little spot in the heart of Hartsdale. I’m looking forward to returning to try some other delicious eats!

This was my third or fourth visit since it opened and it never disappoints! This time I shared the meatball appetizer and the mushroom truffle pizza. Can’t wait to go back!
Very cute place. Quiet Monday night. Service was great, pizza was fantastic and prices not bad. I had the gnocchi and the sauce was great, but the gnocchi were not so good. My date had the hanger steak and it was very good. I’d go back.
The place was packed when we got there. We had a reservation for 8:00 and our table was ready at 8:00. Not a huge menu, but lots of great options. My only complaint is the service was a little on the slow side, but that wouldn’t stop me from going back, it was a Saturday night and feel service can be slower On that day. That being said our waiter was very attentive to us and checked in with us a lot. So the food, There were six of us and we shared a bunch of different. The highlight for me were the mushroom pasta to share( my only complaint was we shared it, it was amazing!) the burrata which was really fresh. We also had the tuna, it was good, but I’ve had better. Entrées, everyone was very happy with what they had which is a good sign. Two of us ordered the salmon. I ordered it medium rare to the more rare side and she ordered it medium well. They both came out exactly how we asked for it. It was really good. My husband got the mushroom pizza, tried a slice and it also was really good. Nothing sparked my interest when it came to dessert, but had a latte. It was really good, not too strong and the espresso wasn’t bitter. All in all everyone was really happy and we would definitely go back
Loved the look of the restaurant. Ordered the Brussels sprouts (amazing!), the Caesar salad, Hangar steak and hand cut rigatoni. The salad dressing was amazing - a mustardy Caesar. The steak was good. The Parmesan potatoes that came with it were under seasoned and maybe undercooked. The rigatoni was fantastic and the Brussels were a little sweet and the pancetta accompanying them was a fantastic complement. The atmosphere was great and the place was busy at 8pm on a Saturday. Looking forward to returning soon!

I went for my own Pizza 2020 tour of Westchester after Westchester Magazine released their result of best Pizza by town in Westchester. The pizza, check plus! we had three different types among the table. Margarita, Peperoni and Arugula one. Meatballs were awful!! Tiny, dry and flavorless. the Rice balls were ok. We got a side of cauliflower which was grilled nicely. I would recommend for pizza but otherwise no. The place is very very loud. and happy hour is only at the bar.

We arrived early for our reservation and was seated right away. We were the only patrons at the time but eventually more trickled in. . I cannot eat shrimps as I’m allergic to shrimps, so I asked for clams with my pasta. They didn’t have clams but had mussels. So they made us a pasta dish with mussels. We appreciated that. Food temp was right. Presentation however was lacking. The dishes came out looking quite plain. The wait staff was friendly and professional when you could catch their attention. Had to wave my hands several tines before I could catch their attention as they were gathered at the far end of the bar across the room and not looking around to see if their customers may be in need of their services. It was my birthday but they didn’t do anything special like a greeting on the dessert or a candle to blow out. That small touch would do much in impressing clients with a personalized touch with their customer service. It’s a pizzeria that is trying to upgrade to a finer dining experience but they need to work on it. Overall, the food was good, albeit lacking presentation for that wow factor,. However, they do need to up their customer service which meets the basic service expectations but nothing exceptional.
Food is so amazing and fresh. My favorite is the branzino so delish!!
I went to Granita with my husband on Saturday and we ordered the rice balls, a salad and the prosciutto pizza. Everything was just okay nothing was great. I would go back there and try a regular entree to see how it is.
We had a lovely dinner. Staff was excellent, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious.
New Year’s Eve.
This was a disappointing dinner, and I so wanted to like the new restaurant. The service was terrible... sat without being greeted by waiter, bread basket took an extended period of time, fish was terrible ;which i sent back for wonderful short ribs), was bot asked for a second drink and was not asked about coffee or tea. Except for the halibut which i sent back, the

I love this place! Been here a couple times as I live near by and it’s been amazing each and every time! They never disappoint! I went for the pre-fixed NYE dinner and I was a little skeptical because past experiences every time there is a pre-fix the food was compromised. However this was not the case! Everything I had was amazing and so was the price! You could’ve still ordered off the regular menu but I went with pre-fix and so happy I did. The decor and ambience is great, you can go for happy hour or dinner. This is my boyfriends and I regular spot now since they changed to Granita. We will keep coming back! Thank you!

Granita use to be Frankie and Fanucci's in Hartsdale NY, still the same owner group, the pizza is average, the crust is to moist, the other food a pasta dish with veal ragu was good, I would not give them a high recommendation, but I would say to try it and be your own judge & jury, The owners did add a nice bar, the restaurant was busy, they did let us dine and enjoy our meal, the overall decor is nice not a great deal of changes from Frankie and Fanucci, the wine by the glass was average, price point overall for dinner is about average, appetizers were good, Cesar Salad was average and Burrata with Figs was good
Reincarnation of former restaurant is nice. Low key local restaurant with standard menu. Have to try pizza next time which looked good. Good size portions.
This was my 2nd visit to Granita Cucina and it was even better than the first! I was greeted at the door like an old friend! We were a party of 6 on a rainy Monday night so the restaurant wasn’t packed. The service was very attentive and once again the food was delish! The portions are very generous and after dessert we were offered complimentary limoncellos!
