I’ve been once before and tried a few bits and thought it was lovely however the experience this time going for my girlfriends birthday felt like such a treat. We both absolutely loved it. It’s like no other Indian restaurant in this area anyway, I would describe it as Indian fine dining. We had a really cosy table toward the rear of the restaurant, service was great and very friendly staff. The food was so beautiful to look at let alone eat. We loved every bite. Can’t wait to go back again. Thank you GTR 👌

This is fast becoming my favourite restaurant. The food is just exceptional. As is the service. It’s such a treat to be able to eat this well locally without having to travel to the West End. Indian is my husband’s absolute favourite food, he would eat it every night if he could....and Grand Trunk Rd makes him a very happy man indeed.

Food was mediocre at best.
Service was sloppy and slow, our table was littered with food debris for most of the meal and once eventually wiped down, was left wet.
Nothing was done to acknowledge the birthday we were celebrating, although this was stated on the booking.
We requested the food to be spicy but it was arrived mild. Due to this, we requested some fresh chilli and were told this was not possible. Eventually, after some discussion, a small pot of chopped chilli was provided and we were charged for the privilage!
Overpriced food and mediocre service, I will not be returning.

Exceptionally food Indian food

Our 2nd visit and loved it all...again! A lovely way to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and, as it's now a firm favourite with us, we're sure to be returning again and again.

Our first visit to GT and we could not have been happier. Food was delicious and staff extremely attentive but discreet. The lamb shank was succulent and so tender .We will definitely return.
