Grand Bistro was amazing! Unbelievable food but the highlight was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and on the ball it was fanastic. I’ll travel from Sydney again to visit without question!
We went to Grand Bistro for brunch on Mother's Day. We had originally booked a table outside but it was expected to be cold and raining and they called the day before and offered us a table inside if we could arrive a bit earlier. Very grateful for the staff being so accommodating.
Fantastic food and wonderful staff. Would recommend!
Great food but night was spoilt by obnoxious diners at another table. Clearly intoxicated. Left early to get away from them
Was recommended to go here by a local and absolutely loved the food. We had a selection of tapas share plates and everything was incredible. The Pork belly was a favourite as well as the duck spring rolls. Can't wait to go back and try the Mexican pop up next time we are in Bowral.
We didn't know what to expect so we were delighted when we arrived and the restaurant was themed Asian. The menu was sufficient not too much not too little. We loved the Betel Leaf entree and Pork Belly main. Good Asian beer on the menu too!
This restaurant has nailed healthy yet delicious food. The all-day brunch menu is expansive, which complements the more contained lunch menu. We had a large family function where people ordered items from both the breakfast and lunch menus. Each dish was beautifully prepared. The serving sizes were great - not enormous, but definitely not stingy.
We will be coming again. The Asian-inspired dinner menu looked inspired. Thanks for a fantastic experience.
Umami is the re creation of Grand Bistro on Friday and Saturdays - very disappointing food and wine list very poor selection. Have been to GB for breakfast and it was great but the quality of the food under this new Asian theme was dreadful
We had a great time. The food was tasty and service was good. The sushi fries were delicious
Was really lovely, great food and great service great. Perfect brunch spot!
Overpriced. For example, we were charged $14 for two, pretty ordinary duck spring rolls (filling was mushy in texture and lacking in flavour) and Ocean trout sashimi was delicious but the serve was very small for $22. The bang bang chicken was disappointing and lacking in flavour. The menu sounded so good but we felt it didn't deliver. Ambience however was great and service was very good.
Great tasty food for Asian pop up and interesting cocktails. Shame about the weekend surcharge
We went to the Umami pop up .. it was buzzy, service was great, food was tasty and matching cocktails were yum! All in all a great experience
