Gradi - Crown Melbourne
Classic Italian cuisine comes to Crown as Gradi brings the flavours of Naples to you with delicious Italian pizza, pasta and seafood.

Johnny's passion for Italian cuisine draws from traditional Neapolitan techniques, with his family originating from Naples.
Nicknamed Mr. Pizza in his home country, Johnny is well known amongst Australian food lovers for being one of the best in the pizza business.
Johnny's much-loved style of regional cooking is an exciting addition to Crown's culinary offering.
Quality of food was excellent. service could be better mainly around processing people at front door, once in wait staff was good as well. Pizzas are little expensive than what I would like to pay at even considering it's crown and not a cafe down the road. I was probably expecting a bit more fine dining but it felt more like a regular restaurent like brunetties. Just going by quality of food, ignoring the price, I would definitely come back and recomend
Been coming for years and never disappointed. Consistently great food, service and ambience.
Pizza was great as usual
Pasta was disappointing
We were a party of seven and main courses were served all over the shop within 20 minutes of each other so diners were forced to sit and watch others eat or just wait for their own meal to arrive
Great location in Crown complex, food high quality at affordable prices. Service outstanding, would definitely recommend.
Pizza to die for, brilliant pasta dishes too.
The food was so fresh, quality ingredients and delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Wonderful food, been many times and never disappoints..
A great night, a little expensive but the food was good.
Food was good and service was very attentive
We were waiting more than an hour for our meal. The waiter appologised several times for food being late. One pasta meal was good and tasty, the other was very average. Food is far too expensive for the quality and service offered.
Wow fantastic food and service meatballs yum pizza better than Rome Luv this restaurant
We made a booking for 7 people but later on we had 3 more friends joining us. I rang up to change our booking but was told there’s no more big table. So we booked another table of 3. We went to the restaurant and explained to them and they were kind enough to allocate two tables close by even though it was a very busy evening. Food was very good. Service was friendly. We will definitely go back there.
Service was fantastic and waiter very helpful. Entree's were fresh and tasty. Main pastas however were a bit too salty. Pizza's were good though
I took friends from Queensland and we all loved everything about Gradi. It’s upmarket but very reasonable
Awesome location, authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional service, great value for money could only highly recommend to locals & visitors
I scored everything 9 out of 10 because nothing is perfect but Gradi is as close as you can get.
I love Gradi (crown) it was a place you would go for a special occasion as you can feel the oppulence on arrival and are treated very well by staff! However we went on Sunday night and it was more of a ‘la porchetta’ crowd.lots of prams and kids yelling.therefore the ‘special’ feeling wasn’t there, maybe I just came on the wrong day!? I have a child but Gradi isn’t a restaurant I would take him to because I know he would fuss a lot. However I understand you can’t just exclude certain populations!
AMAZING PIZZAS!!!!!!! Could not stop at 2 slices! Definitely will be going back! Affogato coffees were a beautiful finish served with the creamiest vanilla ice cream, yummmmm! Our waitress Daniella was outstanding! Her customer service was flawless! Recommended her favourite pizzas which we ordered. Did not disappoint, thank you Daniella and thank you pizza chef!
This is just a great Restaurant. The service is fantastic and the meal is amazing. You have to do yourself a favour and try the pasta and the Meat Platters are great. This is just a great place for family or a business meeting.
Authentic food , fine wine , extremely friendly service and the total vibrancy
Had a wonderful time and staff made mum's birthday extra special. Thanks Gradi!!!
Wasn’t t a pleasant experience food wasn’t fresh pizza came out within 5 minutes but was cold so must’ve been already made and just sitting there which should not happen at a restaurant like this was not happy at all, also the waiter spilt water all over my partner just said sorry and walked off. Will never be dining here again
Great restaraunt, friendly staff. Service was good. Whilst I get it's a higher class restaraunt, I think it's over priced.
We order pasta and the noodle pasta some is undercooked .
Meet up with with friends from interstate
Bad service, had to wait for our food over 2hrs but others got their food before we got ours. Very disappointed
Service was appalling, totally disorganised.
Received food 2.5 hours later.
I had been waiting to eat here for a while. The pizza was divine. Only negative is that the prices are quite high compared to other pizza places of this calibre.
Lovely food. Best to book even for a Sunday night
Good food and service but slightly overpriced
Our first time being there and we loved it. Amazing service and food!
it was our 33rd anniversary and we chose to eat at Gradi, we have been there a few times and thoroughly enjoyed our meal ,staff are very polite and pleasant.
My husband and I came from Interstate, we went to gradi for our 1st wedding anniversary dinner, they made us feel very special from the moment we walked in with two glasses of complimentary Prosecco. the waiters were very kind and made sure we were happy with the food very Italian feel to the place Great food great people highly recommend
Food was excellent but we were disappointed with wait staff. Very friendly and eager to please but not well informed about the menu. We wanted a slow cooked shredded beef ragu bolognese not minced meat. Our waiter did not seem certain but instead of checking, he finally assured us that it was not mince. We were down from Sydney for our 38th wedding anniversary and very much looked forward to having the same menu as we had at your Brunswick restaurant. We still enjoyed our meal and will be back.
Best Gnocchi we have ever had. Very well staffed and they are very polite and professional. Highly recommend.
The prices have gone way up since last time I went there. I had suggested the restaurant so I was embarrassed to have recommended somewhere so expensive for what we ordered.
Food was ok but overpriced for what it was. We all had wood fired pizzas - they were acceptable but for the $ that we paid per pizza was not wowed. Also, we had my kids birthday and the staff brought out a Nutella calzone and sang happy birthday which was nice, which was then added to the bill. I would have thought this might have been on the house given it was a special occasion and they suggested the calzone.
A great dinner spot
Great food. Great staff. What more could you possibly want.
Whilst the food, ambience and company was good it was unfortunately spoilt by a total lack of service. We had to call for the waiter to order our food. The food came quickly and then we didn’t see a soul for 45 minutes. With our table full of empty plates we called for the bill. Again not a soul so we paid at the front desk. Left no tip other than serve your customers in future.
