The food (and catered for dietary requirements) was superb and plenty of it. The team were friendly and didn't rush you like some other restaurants during these covid times. It was perfect food with perfect timing of delivery for each course. Definitely a surprising little find which I highly recommend.
Honestly we had the best experience here! Service was fantastic and personal food was phenomenal and a great amount for the price point. We will be recommending to all our friends and family for a fancy dinner out to go here!!
The Grace Burn experience was an absolute pleasure!! Loved everything from start to finish .
The pairing of flavors was like nothing i had experienced before and i have dined A Lot!
The adaptation to the main for our pescaterian palate was highly enjoyed and a real surprise. Highly recommend!!
We visited after the recent Melbourne lockdown so they had ramped up to full from nil. Amazing quality and value. A fabulous find for an intimate dinner in the country!
Fantastic value and generous/excellent matching wines.
Excellent dining experience in Healsville! strongly recommend and will visit again!
Great food and wine, lovely service, good ambience- what’s not to love. We are regulars because it works for us every time. Try it and relax into the local feel
The service was great! Food was delicious! Great value for what we have paid for.
We love Graceburn, it is the perfect local restaurant, with interesting food, beautifully prepared by Kate. The service is always attentive and the wines are terrific and work so well with the food. We will be back.
Great place. Mac Forbes took the time to chat to us personally about the wines which was an amazing touch and really appreciated :)
Had a lovely time at Graceburn where we chose to have dinner while on our short trip to the Yarra Valley. The food was exquisite and we could tell how much love and care was taken in preparing it. Service was friendly. Had the Feed Me option which I believe was good value though would have maybe preferred a little more protein for the main (might not have been enough for 2 people).
Would definitely come back!
Graceburn Cellar door and bistro is a hidden grm. It was unique, homely and welcoming. The fresh produce with talented chef behind the wheel takes the food to another level. The restaurant is run by a small team that’s packs a punch, nothing was missed and the overall experience was exceptional. I will definitely be returning for some more of Graceburn.
Great food, wine, service and ambience!
Great Service great wine and interesting tastes. Will definitely go back.
Food, wine and service was exceptional. Loved the music and atmosphere they created. Can’t wait to go again!
Was a great little find in Healesville. Such a great way to break our iso-dining drought.
Our Should We/Shouldn't We? Review. So... I was a bit nervous as Covid numbers in Victoria started to spike - did I want to keep my booking for my son's birthday? After a frank discussion with Matt about our seating, the restaurants cleaning/distancing procedures and his kind patience and understanding, we kept our booking. We were given a private table in a separate upstairs area which is beautifully set out with a cozy wooden table (large enough for at least 10), maps of wine regions and a wall of wine racking. Our set menu had fresh Tassie Oysters with finger lime, an amazing mussel and Jerusalem artichoke salad, the most melt-in-your mouth pork loin with brussel sprouts and then a perfectly poached pear. Sounds simple, but the fresh bread and miso butter was so delicious, we could have just had that. All the staff there are knowledgeable and friendly and the food is pretty special.
Warm welcome made us feel right at home on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Atmosphere and service was great, food portions perfectly adequate for a lunchtime meal (be sure and try the meatballs - delicious), and the wine was enjoyable (try the house sparkling). Worth making the effort to come out for a casual lunch with friends or as a couple. Will be booking in for dinner in sometime to try out the dinner menu.
Personal and calm. Lovely environment for a catch up with friends.
Amazing service and great social distancing. Thanks to the tread for a great day
So good to be back “live” at Graceburn Bistro, the Feed Me menu worked a treat, Kate is a fantastic and creative chef and the service and wine suggestions from Matt were excellent. A fun night was had by us all
Thanks crew - well done
Rump cap was ok, wasn't the best dish. All in all it was nice to get out.
Matt was attentive and introduction to wineS served was excellent . We like the food combinations put together by Kate. Would come back for more . Very happy !
fresh vibrant food we shared with friends , staff attentive friendly , colourful detailed wine descriptions and wine makers on hand to talk with
Delicious well prepared meals. The menu is limited in size but should please everyone. I had garfish expertly pan fried that reminded me of Italy. My wife had a delicious pork chop with cherries and pickled onions. We shared a fabulous heirloom tomato and ricotta salad. Will definitely be back
Excellent fresh local food prepared with love. Interesting and tasty wines delivered by knowledgeable and relaxed waters. A lovely way to spend an evening in Healesville.
Our group of 6 people had a lovely dinner hightled by fresh produce. The 'feed me' menu was great value and well balanced. Service was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. A great selection of Mac Forbes wines added to the experience. We'll be back!
Amazing feed me option which was extremely good value.
The limited (very) menu suggests that the restaurant intends to do those dishes very well, which is a legitimate strategy. However, you have to make sure the food presented is exceptional and, sadly, it wasn't. The beef option was basically tough and the vegetarian option (these were the only two mains on offer) simply wasn't appealing. Overall disappointing.
Fabulous food, great service.
Would highly recommend.
Friendly service in an intimate and welcoming space. Food was delicious and fresh with amazing wines from Mac Forbes & friends.
Booked after reading a recent review in The Age. Well worth it. Delightful food and wine. Will be making a special trip to dine here again.
So so good - such a refreshing change to have somewhere new and excellent to dine out in Healesville. Massive congrats to Mac, chef and the whole FOH team, it was all superb and we will be back and soon!
I love this place! Service always on point, fabulous wine and a small but always incredible menu.
Wonderful experience , lovely food and very enjoyable experience, highly recommend if you can get to Healesville
Beautiful wine and excellent food! Would recommend everyone to go here for a romantic evening or just for some delicious food and wine.
Incredible! The food, the wine, the service! All of the ingredients were from local farmers, seasonal and mostly organic too. Such a hidden little gem, but one that I doubt will be hidden for long.
Loved it, we will be back! Great food and wine. Intimate, cosy and super friendly staff.
Great little place, loved the simplicity of the food and how damn tasty it was. Jimmy was amazing :)
Just think of diners and the temp of the restaurant as it was really cold with the door wide open....
