Gogi (Korean for “meat”)
Gook-Su (Korean for “noodles”)
With menu items ranging from spicy pork and Korean-style beef served on individual hot plates to ramen noodles and even Bulgogi tacos, there is something for everybody and a uniqueness that you won’t find anywhere else.
Comfortable. Enjoyable. Suitable for families. These are words that describe the GoSu experience.
When it comes to dining out, we know you have many choices to choose from. At GoSu, we aim to be your everyday restaurant by consistently delivering high quality food and outstanding service.
Cool little place. Great service and the food was awesome. We had spicy pork buns, ramen noodle bowls and a bulgogi rice entree. Everything was delicious. We arrived at 1pm I would do takeout.
Always good food and friendly. Ramen is very good as are small plates - tacos, pork buns, and fresh tofu - and you should try other entrees like spicy soba and even the curry dishes. Japanese curry is sweet and spicy but not hot. Staff is always accommodating and tentative. Try it on a cold winter day like today! Good value.
Had a wonderful lunch there. Started off with the spicy pork buns which were delicious. Also tried the marinated squid which was tender and perfect. Loved the fried chicken dish with its dipping sauce! All the apps were perfect.
I got the marinated beef sizzlebop and my friend had the spicy pork sizzle bop. Both plates were beautifully done. Vegetables are steamed properly and the meat was tender and flavorful. It also came with a choice of salad or soup. The salad was crisp with a delicious ginger soy dressing. Server was great, very pleasant. It was a perfect lunch! I love this restaurant!
Absolutely delicious! We'd definitely come back. Casual dining room and the food was very fresh with a nice variety (including multiple vegetarian options) with extremely warm service.
Outstanding Asian fusion cuisine. Recommended the steamed buns, anything with bulgogi, tempura, chicken katsu and the ika taki which is broiled squid. That is what we had and all is recommended. We found a new place to eat and return to.
The food and service was good.
Sadly, a fusion American/Korean/Japanese/taco menu left me bewildered. Nothing tasted authentic. It was mostly empty on a Fri night. The owner is super nice but I’d rather go to HMart & buy Korean bbq there.
Every aspect of the food was great. The sticky bun was one of my favorites. Great menu. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Food was delicious and service was great. Really nice restaurant
First timers. Had a wonderful lunch! Started with the Japanese fried chicken bites-yum! Next were the spicy pork buns which were crunchy with a cucumber and slaw. So tasty. Then we got the Bulgogi tacos- marinated sirloin with tomato, onions-great flavor! Loved them!
We split a Bulgogi Sizzle Bop
Korean style soy marinated sliced rib eye. Including rice and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable and waiters were extremely friendly and welcoming.
The owner came over to check on us. We also got an absolutely delectable tempura fried cheesecake for being first timers there. What a nice welcome! PLEASE NOTE, Everything was so delicious, I ate it so fast, I forgot to take pictures! So you'll see pictures that are half eaten, half servings, oh well! When the food is good, you lose all sense of taking pictures! I will be back soon. What a taste sensation
Consistently a favorite; friendly service, delicious food, warm atmosphere. Always fun to see the large table in the back booked by a group that looks celebratory or gathering with friends after a long day/week.
I’ve been meaning to come visit GoSu for quite some time as I’ve seen their posts on social media and sampled some of their food at a recent local Food festival. Tonight we really enjoyed their loaded fries and spicy pork buns. There were other things that I wanted to try so will be back. I noticed they offer a buy one get one appetizer special on Wednesday’s so may try to take advantage of that to try additional dishes! Definitely recommend.
This was a surprising gem. We went looking forward to some unique offerings and were not disappointed. I love Korean, but we were not limited to that as an option. The wasabi shumai was wonderful (a bit spicy for my wife, but I loved it), and the entrees were delicious and very filling. Top it off with some warm sake, and it was a great night. The beef negimaki sizzle bop was wonderful, and I want to try the bulgogi tacos next time. Definitely coming back.
Great place to go and dine food is exceptional loved the professional ale service you get
Great menu with options for everyone. I've also been there with the whole family. Even my picky children love the food and request to go back. Service is great. Staff is friendly. Will be visiting again soon.
The food was flavorless. My spicy pork looked to have been colored with food coloring, and some parts were not fully cooked. The ramen noodle bowl had to be sent back as the broth was tepid. It felt like they weren’t even trying to make the effort to serve a good meal. There was only one more table occupied for a Saturday night. Quite disappointed.
GoSu is my favorite place to eat whether I come with family, friends, or by myself. Clean, modern interior, and a fantastic variety of food to please any palate.
Small plates - veggie spring rolls, agedashi tofu, bulgogi tacos, and loaded fries
Meats - chicken teriyaki sizzle bop and salmon teriyaki sizzle bop
Large plates - tofu steak and chicken katsu
Bonus: it’s not yet on the menu, but if you have room for dessert, ask about the cheesecake tempura - I bet you’ve never had anything like it and it’s absolutely delish!!
A must go! Stop by if you’re in the area
Attentive staff, eager to help you navigate questions about how to use the sauces accompanying the noodles or just to help advise you on what dishes you might want from the menu. Service is spot on, not overbearing nor are they missing in action. As for the food...the flavor and crispness of the tempura is amazing and while I’ve only ever ordered the cold soba noodles (which I keep ordering because they’re so good!) everything else that is served looks great so I’m thinking there’s got to be a theme here. The tempura, though.... It becomes a flavor you crave, as I made my friends join me in a return trip the following week so I could have partners in crime to eating what surely isn’t a low calorie dish. In short, a little pocket of friendly yummy happiness in Irvington.
The food was very good and the servers were very attentive. Great local option at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.
Wonderful experience! Everything was terrific! Casual atmosphere, warm and courteous service (my waitress, Goldie, was super friendly) and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the bulgogi loaded fries, the ika yaki marinated squid and the soba. I also tried the salmon teriyaki sizzle bop which was cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back here!
Im so happy I found this place.
A Hidden Gem in Irvington.
They specialize in Asian Meats & Noddles. Basically Asian comfort food.
For the Quality and Quantity, priced very low.
Service was so friendly & genuine.
The food here made me feel like I was back in the city.
Leave a little room and try their Matcha Cheesecake Tempura after your meal.
Nothing like it in Westcheter.
Don’t wanna hype up the place too much but I’m so happy this place exists in Westchester.
I have been to GoSu many times and they never disappoint! Great atmosphere and great service every time. I highly recommend Bulgogi Tacos, Wasabi Shumai and the Salmon Teriyaki!
I will be back !!!!
What a special treat tonight. I‘ve been meaning to visit GoSu for some time and finally made a reservation. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had live entertainment tonight. Wonderful local band + really good food (loved the spicy pork sizzle entree) + good drinks = really nice way to end the week. Got to speak briefly with the owner and had a nice conversation. Will be back again!
Went to GoSu for dinner after work for the first time and really enjoyed my experience. Very clean and modern decor. Good music selection and very friendly staff. I was in the mood for just ordering a few appetizers (loaded fries, bulgogi taco, chicken Katsu) instead of a main entree. Everything tasted great. Also tried soju which complemented my meal well. Will def go back and excited to try their meat “sizzle” and noodle dishes.
It's like a hidden place at Irvingotn. I recently just moved in around the neighborhood and I'm looking for a korean or japanese cuisine. I looked it up online and there it is. It's honestly worth a try. Their food and service were awesome. The ambiance was pretty nice and comfortable; they have booth seating, normal tabletop, and bar seating. I ordered the Salmon Teryaki Sizzle Bop. It was amazing especially the shitake sauce. It was so good that I'm craving for it the next day. If you're wondering about the rice, i'm just being silly. It is white rice, I just want put some tempura sauce in my rice :D Will definitely be back with my family and recommend it to everyone! :) Worth a try!
The restaurant staff worked creatively to come up with a solution to the extensive dietary restrictions of my friend and they did it with a smile. Food was good. The chairs are not designed for lingering and there is a steep step up to the bathrooms. It's a good neighborhood place for a quick and tasty meal.
Great neighborhood find! Really delicious Asian fusion food! Nicely prepared and nice presentation. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.
