Delicious food! Excellent services! Highly recommended!
We had a set menu and everything was delicious. I especially loved the kimchi, pork and cheese yakitori and the ramen with gyoza was excellent - perfect broth.
Cold boiling egg
Without any signature dishes include in the menu
staff are all freindly and the food was amazing. As Japanese national, this place made me homesick. It reminds me of everything about the good Japanese restaurant in Japan.
Presentaion, Politeness and most of all quality of the food. Thank you and we will be back again.
I have tried numbers of “Japanese Restaurants” in SydneyI feel like I finally found an authentic one.
The skewers are extremely flavourful and juicy which is their strong suite. The carb dishes are ok. Fun venue to catch up with friends
It's our first time to dine in like Omakase, it's so amazing!
Beautiful dinner ever. I did recommend!
Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend it for a special occasion!
Very good service attitude and perfect dishes
Really good food and staff were friendly! Highly recommend
Amazing little restaurant with authentic food and staff. Definitely took me to Japan during my meal and will definitely return! Thank you
Very good yakitori restaurant. Staff was very nice
Service was a little slow at the start
Food was excellent
Price was fair
Good atmosphere
Service was great. Good was so yummy. Definitely filling... my boyfriend and I were both so full we couldn’t finish our food
Great menu and great sake selection. Highly recommend.
Incredible food - flavours were pungent and aromatic. The chefs were friendly and professional and service was timely. The ambience reminded us of our time at a yakitori bar in Tokyo mixed with a modern scene. We had the $89 omakase menu and the selection was very filling and flavoursome! Incredibly underrated and great value for money and truly a hidden gem. Overall, fantastic experience, highly recommended and will definitely be back!
First time here. I found Goryon San through OpenTable. We enjoyed the whole night here. Food was amazing - we tried some new things (lettuce wrapped in bacon) that we’ve never had before. Very tasty! Matching sakes highly recommended. Service by the friendly staffed capped off a great night. Thanks Goryon San and OpenTable! See you next time!
Fifth time having dinner hear,Fantastic as always!!
Lovely place that offers a great range of flavours of authentic Japanese food. Super friendly service! We loved it!. We would definitely come back again.
Ambience was lovely, wouldn't say it was proper "yakitori" unfortunately.
Food was amazing! The ambience was nice and quiet but got left in a corner with hard visibility from the wait staff but manage to get attention from the chefs!
Authentic Japanese yakitori, reasonable price. Nice staff.
Incredible food, friendliest staff and great atmosphere. Cant beat it for japanese food anywhere in Sydney
The food and services were both pretty good. This was my second time dining in this restaurant. First time we had a-la-carte menu and tried lots of skewers and a big porridge to share and that got us super full. This time we had the $89 pp set menu which was very tasty too. We spent around $50 more but not as full as my first time. Having said that, their $89 set menu was better value than some of the fine dinning places. So still highly recommended, especially if you like Japanese!
The starer is very good, love it the best. But for the main course, the selection of skewers is not too good. Five skewers in total, for the 3rd and 4th, one is bacon and another is pork belly, that is too greasy. I think as a Japanese restaurant, the symbol of Japan BBQ is Chicken, why not change one as a chicken skewer?
Amazing food, drinks and service. Highly recommended!
Great spot! Highly recommend the set menu was great. We will definitely be back soon!
The food and service was top notch as expected. I felt like I was right back in Japan again! Can’t wait to come back here again. Arigato gozaimasu!
It was our first time here. It won’t be our last. Food was amazing and the service was great. Good atmosphere and we enjoyed every minute there. Looking forward to coming back.
10/10. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The draught beers are smooth and creamy, service was on point and the quality of food was right up there.
Every item in the omakase set was delicious and the staff kindly helped greatly with our small surprise birthday dinner.
Amazing food. Will definitely recommend to our friend
Food was great except the ramen hotpot which is greasy. But the food amount is too small for me and my sis, we didn’t quite had enough. The plum wine is very sweet.
Birthday celebration with warmth hospitality. Really appreciate the team’s effort.
Very nice food, great flavour, but a little bit pricey for the ingredients and portion. We felt very full afterwards.
Tasty food and good service, we do really enjoy it here.
Highly recommend $89 set menu cause the sashimi starter is really amazing compared with $69!The ambience is quite nice as well as the service and food quality!
The food and drink are nice, but just feel like they treating people differently.
Authentic food and great service with a buzzing atmosphere. It was nice to see the staff could enjoy sake shots with some of the patrons.
Goryon San is offering two set menus during the COVID-19 restrictions, both non-vegetarian. We opted for the lesser $69 per head option, which was ample food for two hungry guys. The opener included raw wagyu and egg - very tasty, but maybe not for all. Then we had a series of yakitori (skewers), all delicious, especially the scallops and pork belly. Last main was a substantial ramen, not the best I’ve had in Sydney (that prize would go to Chaco Bar at Darlinghurst) but good nonetheless. We finished with mango gelato (green tea flavour also available). The menu changes fortnightly by the look of things and is good value for the quality of the food and the warm and friendly service. Overall, a great dining experience.
