The whole experience was first rate. The location and ambience made the dinner something special. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
The food was exceptional and the nice touch of a ‘Happy Birthday’ on the dessert was much appreciated.
Would recommend to anyone.
We had the 5 course degustation menu for lunch, and it was outstanding quality.
Oysters submerged in water. Would let us have those first followed by hot starters. And forgot our main courses. Used to enjoy it here, won’t be back again.
It was my fiancé’s birthday and I was very disappointed by their lack of service and attention to detail. We had to go get the water jar to fill our glasses, my fiancé went to the pass bar to get side plates and cutlery, our wine glasses were never refilled. I told them it was his birthday and they didn’t in any way make him feel or us even slightly special especially that we were basically the only people left in the restaurant and they could have at the very least wished him a happy birthday. Very disappointing coming from a restaurant I’ve always spoken highly of. Ordinarily I would not complain but in this instance he had chosen where he’d like to celebrate his day and we left very upset and with a sour taste in our mouth. Even after mentioning this to the waitress whilst paying, no effort was made to redeem this situation. A restaurant of this calibre should know better.
While the food was excellent, my husband and I were very disappointed with the service provided on arrival. I had made a booking for a table of three. My husband and I were meeting up with a dear friend whose husband had passed away earlier in the year. Prior to arriving at the Glass Brasserie our friend was of high spirits and looking forward to the evening. I even called a few days before to confirm the booking was for three. On arrival the table was set for four and the wait staff asked if we were waiting for someone else to arrive. We could tell by the look on our friend's face and the drop in her mood that she was impacted by the question. Then to add insult to injury the spare chair remained at our table all night. I normally would not make my disappointment known via a public domain but have so in the hope that in the future greater care would be taken when arranging seating. If others could be spared a similar experience then something positive could come of this.
Great ambience for a special occasion. Good menu with something for everyone and pleasant attentive service
Food and service outstanding we even met like
Only issue we had was tricky getting a booking
Nice food. Very attentive staff and the desert was unbelievable
Food and service were lovely but as expected, portion sizes were ridiculously small considering the price point. Unfortunately, we were still left hungry after spending over $200 for two people (and I’m not a big eater!).
Would still recommend as the food was lovely but I don’t suggest it if you are on a budget!
The service was excellent, especially the sommelier Mauro. His knowledge was very good and he was very engaging.
We had the degustation menu and it was delicious and interesting. We really enjoyed the music as well.
We thoroughly recommend Glass Brasserie.
Sensational place. Good food and service
The wine service could be better- specifically leave opened wine bottles on diners’ table
We booked a table for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff made our night very special, acknowledging our occasion and even giving us a special anniversary dessert.
The market fish was excellent. Great service, as always.
Food was amazing! Service was fine but I prefer not to be asked fifty time how is everything.
As a regular Glass customer, My family and I found the the lamb and fish were both overcooked. The meals took exceptionally long. 6:30pm dinner, left at 10:30pm. Great atmosphere as always however disappointed on this occasion. No apology or discount offered.
Amazing food and staff, this place never misses a beat.
Service and food outstanding
Had our 24th wedding anniversary dinner and it was amazing!!!
