Alway my favourite restaurant. Good food, good location, spacious, quiet with good service.
Overall a nice restaurant but it is a bit dated and the food is delicious but not mind blowingly good. Nothing super special. Would probably not come back again
A perfect way to celebrate the day my husband proposed and I said yes!💓 The service from everyone including the bar was second to none x the food excellent as always x the surrounding ambience just perfect for a romantic lunch for two 🥂
Always consistent with the beautiful food and service
I have eaten at Glass before . It remains to be high on my list for lunch. Good value for money .Food is always totally delicious. The Creme Brulee is one of the best I have had anywhere.
Would recommend Glass to everyone.
Staff were not attentive to our table. We had to reach the attention of multiple staff to get our orders and follow up. Additionally, we ordered first but other people who came after us received their food before us. Servers just pass by our table not asking if we need water or other items which is very obvious that our glasses were out of water.
Truly excellent food. Perhaps the best food we have had in years. The steak was excellent.

one world FANTASTIC.
love the food and wine. probably one of my top restaurants and I have been to many.
Glass is one of our favourites. We were greeted by Luke Mangan himself which was a lot of fun. The food is always exquisite, and our table was one of the best in the restaurant. We had a lovely time for my husbands birthday.
The food was really delicious, would highly recommend it.
Food was pretty good, wouldn’t say exceptional and perhaps a bit over priced For a quick business lunch but I would go again. I had the lamb loins and were just slightly over cooked however clearly selected quality produce though. It was a good venue for a lunch meeting with customers and not too loud that you could easily have a conversation.
We love this restaurant. It’s our
Absolute favourite and like our second food home. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and family traditions there all the time. We have never been disappointed.
Great food great ambience. Overall great dining experience
The food was delicious and the service was very professional
Family holidays are fabulous but Date Nights are so important & we desperately needed an evening out.
The welcome was lovely, the food was dam amazing, as usual. We even got to speak with the boss him self. Lovely to see him talking to guests.
The staff are very lovely, yes I might have my favorites but there is a reason for this.
The gnocchi was the best I have had since Italy.
cheese board was excellent and i loved the service
Expensive but pleasant. My husband’s whole John Dory was delicious, my salmon was made enjoyable with the accompaniments. Crime Brûlée was superb. Quiet, we could talk. Tables well spaced. Good service - would only add that the remaining bread and olive oil should have been removed from the table.
The customer service is superb. I love the hotel omelettes made to order.
Impeccable service for a special night. The food was creative and delicious. A highlight was the Raspberry Sorbet for desert.
Delicious pre-theatre menu, and unexpectedly good seating with a great view of the QVB.
We went there for New Year's Eve and were very happy with the meal package offered by the Hilton.
New Years Eve Dinner was beautiful and the service excellent
I traveled Cairns and Hamilton Island, Brisbane and the Gold Coast for two weeks.
At the end of the trip and on the last day of 2019, we were expecting a great dinner in Sydney.
But it didn't come true.
The waiter told me at the table, "Today is only a New Year's Eve special course, no a la carte."
Of course, that is perfectly fine. But then I noticed. They are not telling all other customers the same. I gave the same explanation to me and my Asian tourists. Other "white" customers were offered a variety of dishes, with a la carte and course choices.
When I asked again, "Can I choose an à la carte?", The waiter explained that it was "only course".
I've been eating at a number of restaurants, but this is the first time that my service has been different for different races. Moreover, shops that are listed in many guidebooks like this one should not have such a service.
Not recommended for travelers.
The problem the Hotel has is not the Restaurant but the doormen at the taxi entrance. On Saturday they were understaffed and we were ignored. On a previous occasion I was abused by the doorman who said to me “Don’t interrupt. Can’t you see I am busy!” He would have been fired on the spot in NYC or London or Paris. I reported it to the concierge but he was not interested
I was a little disappointed in the quality of the sirloin steak it was not as tender as I would have expected
The service was excellent friendly professional the atmosphere was enjoyable but at times a little loud
Food was delicious!
We all had Christmas bonbons on our table when we arrived, the food was plentiful, very tasty and beautifully presented plus we were all given a small plum pudding to take home. Santa visited all the tables and had presents for children. Overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon.
I spoke with Sophie in Reservations about some food allergies we have and we worked together to design a menu for the day. It was our first Christmas without Dad so had asked if we could have a table in a quiet area near the window and not in the middle (a little protection for mamma on a tough day) - was delighted when seated to be positioned at the window and facing out to the city-it was perfect. The meal was amazing with food that just kept coming and was absolutely delicious.
From start to finish it was just perfect and I can’t thank the team enough for making a hard day for my family, one that we look back on with fond memories.
It was a casual date with my wife which traditionally we have every Christmas Eve. Having dined there on other occasions before we decided on Glass for our traditional date this year and did not regret it. We classify Glass as a special occasion restaurant and have not been disappointed.
We’ll be back.
Food, service and ambience was fantastic ! Highly recommend this place
This is the 3rd Xmas dinner we have celebrated as a family here simply amazing sums glass brassiere .
Merry Christmas to all staff
Never disappointed by Glass. If you are looking for a treat yourself kind of evening look no further
Great lunch to close out the year with my manager. Fabulous food and great service.
Steak was lovely, but thin & presentation ordinary. Truffled mash was too liquidy. My table wasn’t served as well as others around me. Ambiance was great as always.
This was our annual Christmas treat and as usual we had a great evening. The food was delicious and the service was professional and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.
The restaurant is gorgeous. We arrived early and had drinks at the bar. We had the degustation menu with paired wines and although very expensive, it was outstanding. Food, service and ambience were 10/10. Highly recommend for special occasion.
We make a point of booking into the Hilton just to enjoy sharing the Lamb at Glass
The food, service and ambience was wonderful. Convenient location to go out to the city .
The service was excellent but unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I expected the steak at this place would be flavorful and cooked to perfection, it turned out quite bland and tough. What a shame. I did also enjoyed the cocktail but I didnt really came for that.
