Quality food with exceptional service at a great location.
Fantastic food and service! Mum and I went for a girls dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend!
Given the cost of mains, we were pretty disappointed in the food. it was OK but certainly not exceptional.
Great food as always, seemed a little busy and waiters were quite busy but still we enjoyed as always
I book the glass for my birthday with my friends, it is a very nice place to dine in and waiters are professional and patient even can show us different kinds of steaks by models and always smile cater customers needs
We dined at Glass Brasserie for a family birthday occasion, last week. The staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant has beautiful food, wine and ambience. I had Prawn toast as a starter, the Barramundi and chips, with wilted vegetables, for main, and the Coconut mouse for desert followed by coffee. All courses were absolutely delicious. I hadn't been there for 5 years, but everything was very well done by the staff and chefs, and we will try to get there more often.
We went to celebrate our daughters degree, everything was great except for the waiter was gruff and openly disgruntled when our order was not to his satisfaction. He snatched the menu from my husbands hand when he said no thank you to dessert. When we said we did not want a ‘bottle ’ of wine he snatch all the drinks menu from our hands and walked off. We had to ask for the menus back to order individual drinks from another waiter as he would not acknowledge us. When I asked his name, he said ‘I will be whoever you want me to be’ ????
Delicious food, great choice of wines, service was a little over the top but still very good.
The meal was excellent with a very good menu and matching quality wine list. The staff were friendly and efficient preferring to get it right rather than rushing things. I had kingfish and a steak and my partner shared the entree and had the fish of the day. His first choice of wine was not to taste and the wine waiter recommended two others and allowed him to sample before settling on a better choice.
Great service. Staff were very helpful and lovely. Our booth was facing the QVB, it was such a beautiful place to sit and have breakfast. I was told the honeycomb served at the pastry section was produced at the top level of the building. My 15 year old son and I really love it!
Great atmosphere and service however overpriced for the amount of food you’re provided with
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Awesome vegan menu. Would have been even better if they had a separate menu for vegan wines/alcohol to coincide with the food menu. I absolutely love dining at The Hilton :)
Glass is always our restaurant of choice for special celebrations - it did not disappoint!
Absolutely delicious, fresh and extremely well-presented food. Smaller menu but a great range of options and all food and wine and water was delivered in a timely manner. Staff were accommodative for one of guests who was less mobile and happily moved us to a more suitable table. Great experience and we will all be back.
Gorgeous restaurant, waiter was lovely.
Food was very good except we were served a main meal that was different to the menu description without warning. We received an apology and 2 small truffles as a way of saying sorry but we left feeling a little disappointed. What we ate was very tasty but still not 100% what we ordered.
We had an excellent meal , the standout was the liquorice trifle for dessert. We also had a Tempranillo rose from the Adelaide hills which was delicious.
Toughest steak I’ve ever eaten. I’d be disappointed if I’d paid half the price. There are tons of good restaurants in Sydney. No need to eat at a hotel.
Once again the food was incredible. We had a wonderful evening celebrating 2 of our girls birthdays.
The food was excellent, the window table with a night view of the QVB was appreciated by all five guests. On the downside the otherwise excellent service was spoiled by a delay of more than 30 minutes from placing our order to the arrival of our entrée, after a complaint. The cost is a bit higher than some other restaurants with comparable excellence of food.
Service and food both very underwhelming. Had birthday lunch with my wife. Food (goats cheese salad and steak tartare) were both lackluster. For the price we paid, I expect more.
Glass is amazing & a favorite for date night .
How can food be so Devine?
The Staff are so kind & lovely and their attention to detail is incredible.
We will see you again in a few weeks & looking forward to it !
We had full australian breakfast buffet for $44. The atmosphere and service was great. Food was okay, basically paid for ambience. Overall it was a good experience.
In Sydney staying at the Hilton for 2 nights so decided to try Glass and were somewhat disappointed. Good menu selection and nice service but have to say not exceptional for the $ spent.
This is our 2nd visit to Glass for dinner and it did not disappoint! Thankyou again
Food was delicious, and service was attentive and professional.
The whole snapper was magnificent. The recommended wine perfect. Service great - one the Government finishes off George Street I will certainly be back.
Wonderful breakfast at Glass Brasserie. The food is very fresh and has something for every taste. The staff at Glass Brasserie are also wonderful and knowledgeable and happy to go above and beyond for their patrons. Will definitely be back soon and recommend this to my friends and family for special occasions and gatherings
The wait staff were wonderful, the service we received was first class. We enjoyed a starter, entree, main to share and dessert. All of the dishes were delicous, I just found my souffle slightly overpowering.
had a great night celebrating special occasion with my partner. It was our first time at Glass and thought it was perfect . Service and food was outstanding. Good wholesome well cooked pleasing dishes. our main was T-Bone for 2 and it was memorable.
Excellent as always and the cherry on top is when Luke comes around to greet you. Dinner is more suitable for date night though as opposed to lunch.
My daughter and I go to Glass for special occasions, birthdays etc. We always have excellent service and find it a very comfortable place with great food.
Exceptional experience. Food was truly amazing & quality wine flowing.
Thank You for a night to remember, enjoying a romantic kid free evening. Look forward to returning again soon. Cheers
It has been at least 2 years since our last visit and we're glad to find that Glass is still as good, in most aspects. The restaurant has just re-open after renovation most notably with its shiny new wooden flooring. It is busy but not as packed as my previous visits, perhaps due to it has just re-open. We ordered from the a la carte menu - smoked quail, crab omelette, roasted lamb cutlet, scotch fillet, garlic mushroom, tomato buffalo salad - we enjoyed all the dishes in particular the omelette, scotch and mushrooms. For dessert we tried mango lime souffle and signature liquorice but were a bit let down; it's not as good compared to previous visits. We also tried some good mocktail, white, red and sweet wine. Service is very professional yet approachable. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
Food was quite average. Was waiting waiter for more than 5 mins at the table.
Variety is OK but extremely expensive for what is on offer (unless you sit there for two hours and have 4 plates full of items)
Arranged a birthday dinner for my wife. Very attentive and good service. Oysters were delicious and medium rare steak was fantastic.
Disappointing service and range of food available.
The meals for two were a great value and really tasty.
I have been to Glass a few times and have always had such a good experience I feel guilty not recognizing them for their efforts. The quality of the food, service and wine list puts it among the best that Sydney has to offer. Even Luke Mangan walking the floor making sure things were as they should be was a nice thing to see.
Yes it is an expensive restaurant but it is worth it.
Excellent food and impeccable service. Extensive wine list and knowledgeable sommelier who recommended a superb Semillon. A great evening with friends.
