Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday and right from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcomed.
Staff attitude & food were five star. Definitely will be going back, added to my favourite joint list.
The table seating was facing the construction on George St — not very picturesque! Tables by the windows would be better off arranged with seating facing into the room. The food was acceptable at best; the service left much to be desired — slow and inattentive.
Overall the experience was very good. Not a fan of how they do oysters Kilpatric with 'no' bacon and extremely small oysters.
food is good.
a nice place to catch up.
It’s was wonderful, great food, great service and good value!
The lamb shoulder was to die for
To service to eating
Loved every minute
This is a friendly restaurant - good standard food and the service was efficient and warm. We were greeted at the entrance by the head chef, which was a real treat and felt very welcomed right from the outset. For lunch it is very reasonably priced and the quality and quantity of food was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone if they were in the city and wanted lunch.
As always - great food, service and atmosphere. Business breakfast work really well
Lovely food, nice atmosphere but our waiter was rushed to the point of not letting us finish our sentences. When we were asked what we would like for dessert we said we wouldn't have any dessert, can we please have the bill? however our waiter disappeared as soon as we said we wouldn't like any dessert and came back later to ask us if we had decided yet. - Felt unheard, but the food was great.
Still the best upscale restaurant in Sydney. Food, Ambience and Service all excellent
Food was absolutely delicious and service was great! I will come again with my friends.
Wonderful experience all round- good service, food exceptional particularly sticky date soufflé.
We have been here quite a few times and are never disappointed. Food quality is excellent (best gnocchi I have ever had and will be back just for that). Lovely atmosphere and great service.
The food quality was exceptional, well presented and very tasty. Only other comment is that it is very pricey. Other than that it was a real treat and everyone throughly enjoyed their meals.
We love coming to Glass, it’s a shame it’s not in our favorite hotel but that’s ok I will walk in heels to get there. Staff are lovely, food is just amazing.
The space is nice but the service was too slow. 3 of us had the $29 special which was just ok.
The initial drinks took 20mins to arrive and then the bottle of wine took another 20/25 mins.
We had a great dinner but very disappointed about the oysters Killpatrick worst sauce ever also size of the natural oysters not good service of food ?
Service of wine excellent
We were dissapointed that the restaurant manager made it so difficult to obtain a credit of $90 based on a spend of $110 from a $200 voucher.
Superb at every level and personalised service that was outstanding.
quite an odd service standard, where you cant even order your steaks how you like it, lol
not very good value for money and they refuse to cook meat dishes to your liking. Ie I like well done and they said that they would not cook it well done, which I find very bizarre after all isn’t the consumer the customer and deserves to order to their likes and tastes!?
Degustation menu strongly recommended!
Best stock ever tasted. Totally fulfilled.
WE always look forward to dining at Glass Restaurant - beautiful venue, staff welcoming and our favourite table is always waiting. The Chefs excel, the standard and quality of food keeps getting better and decor and ambience couldn't be better. We look forward to our next visit.
My wife and I went to a hotel thinking that the ambience would be quiet and romanic. Not only was it as crowded and noisy (almost as much as all the crowded modern-hip-cool restaurants that we sought to avoid) but they added insult to injury by having background rock music (admittedly softly). I like that sort of music for dancing and driving - but not for romantic dinner.
Food? Not bad but the greens salad that promised some blue cheese was more a game of "where's wally?" - couldn't find the blue cheese. We ordered a cheese plate for desert - talk about skimpy.
Great service awesome food and overall a lovely dining experience. The garlic mushrooms were amazing!!!
John provided me and my friend a good serving. However I do not understand charging extra $5 for soy cab. Offering different coffee should be included in meal charge. Charging extra is too nitty gritty for Hilton brand value. A bit dissapointing on this.
Great food that our group really enjoyed. Very polite waitstaff although a little slow for drink service. I would definitely return.
We held our son's birthday at Glass. What a beautiful restaurant. Great ambience, service and food. Everything was wonderful. Was it cheap? Absolutely not. But it wasn't a 'cheap night out' and we expected the fare. Lovely night out for six of us.
The most reliable food in Sydney
Always fantastic food
Great wine list
The only downside was the height of the bench seat (in front of wine rack) relative to the table and the opposite chair. You need to lean forward to hear the other person. A normal chair would be much better.
Consistently good service and food is always lovely
Really great food and service! However they did accidentey charge me twice......
Very disappointed in Glass, I have been to Luke Mangan restaurants in the past and expected more. Our starters and mains all came together due to an error by the waiter, not sure that our mains were cooked afresh. I ordered sirloin and found it a little chewie. Desert was lovely
Great service. Wonderful ambience. Great menu choice. Setting was really cosy, we were by the window and it was really cold outside but you didn't feel it inside and it was nice to be able to look out at the sky.
Superb service and high quality food. The standout was the amazing service from the sommelier, Mauro, who organised stunning wines mathing with the food we were eating.
Best vegan meal I've had in a long time. Would recommend the samosa entrée and ravioli main. Fantastic!
For many years now I have attended Glass. I have boasted about the elegance, food and service to all of my friends. However after my latest experience, my view on Glass has significantly changed.
The food was cold, the waiters were pushy, rushed and rude.
Glass have lost a loyal customer
Splendid atmosphere. Truly enjoyed the foods, mainly desserts.
Booked an early seating so we could get to the theatre. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was superb. Try the crab omelette- simply perfection.
The restaurant is beautiful and modern.
The food were well presented and of good quality. The service was good but not exceptional, it took a while for us to get some attention that we were ready to order our meals.
