Beefeater London Dry gin invigorated with basil and orang
Japanese Katsu Curry
Breaded chicken in a creamy katsu sauce, spring onion and chilli. Served with wok fried veg and noodles. Go vegan
Waited a while to be seated (with a booking) as it was very busy. Once seated we explained we had the theatre soon and they were very speedy and accommodating with food/drinks and the bill. Food was lovely :-)
Friendly staff, it took a while to get our food and ended up being the wrong dish, but we didn't have time to wait more. A bit underwhelmed by the experience.
The service and food was excellent at Giraffe, we were a group of 6, 3 adults, 3 children and they allowed our 10 years old to have their own table next to ours so they felt grown up. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was delicious! I loved the amount of vegan choices there were. The vegan katsu curry was really lovely.
I thought it was really good value too, we were pleasantly surprised at the bill!
We will be back
We were really disappointed with the food. Small portions for the price and bad quality in general (very oily and not fresh at all).
Great value kids menu and wide ranging, and appealing main menu. But adult food portions were small and food was mixed. Small burger for £8.99 then £3 extra for a small side of undercooked fries. One side came after all our food was finished. No effort to apologise or offer to take off bill. Nice restaurant with good atmosphere but cold because door was left wide open.
Staff were attentive, food was tasty, good vibes around the tables
Food was lovely, staff were lovely, unfortunately service was a little slow but it was very busy. We weren't in any rush. All in all, another lovely meal at Giraffe
Very nice restaurant overlooking the Thames. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were very thankful that they allowed us to have an early lunch even though we got there at 11.30 and the lunch menu didn't start until midday. With 2 children in tow, it would have been very difficult to find somewhere else at such short notice.
The food was fantastic. It took a while
For us to get our orders in and our bill but overall would definitely revisit
The service was great, all the staff were really really nice especially the waitress we had I didn’t catch her name she had amazing red hair (fro)
They did open both doors (not sure why) but it made it a bit chilly that was my only thing besides that 5 stars
It was ok, nothing special but served a purpose
Great choice of menu, fab value for kids. Quick service. Right next door to the Southbank centre and friendly helpful staff.
Great food and service, only downside was they brought out the starters at the same time as the main course.
Food was OK not convinced worth the money. Service good. Booth was very cramped, I'm 6ft and struggled to fit comfortably, is fine for kids.
Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food. Everything was quick and staff was ready to help!
Good quick service nice plastic giraffes with kids drink
Great time thanks

Was my sons birthday treat. Food was amazing, drinks was also nice. As a little treat the staff sang happy birthday for him with a chocolate brownie and ice cream as a birthday treat. A lot of the stuff then came and sang happy birthday too him. Very sweet.
Great experience - excellent food, came quick and friendly service. Would recommend.
Brilliant views, fab menu and outstanding quality and value for kids
Perfect restaurant with the young ones as they serve decent and affortable kid meals
Multiple things missing from menu and not told about changes to meals we had ordered. Hummus platter described as hummus with olives, ciabatta, feta & pickles red onions was laughable. 1 olive cut into 3!! Not ciabatta and a sprinkle of feta. One strand of onion 🙈. Refused to pay for it.
Great for what we were after, dinner with the kids. Well catered for, waitress was awesome.
Service was very good for drinks but very slow for food. Food arrived a bit cold and a bit over priced for the portion size. But it was tasty!
A slightly disappointing trip to Giraffe. The kids meals arrived quickly but were tiny. My husbands meal arrived 10 minutes later and mine 10 minutes after that! I had the vegan version of the Korean chicken and it was tiny. My starving daughter had to eat my fries as her meal was so small. Ordered churros for dessert which were cold. Not impressed at all.
Our first visit to a Giraffe restaurant. Friendly welcome and excellent staff member who looked after us. Extremely busy and noisy but we adjusted to the happy atmosphere and felt comfortable. It was well staffed, with a varied menu to suit all tastes with good value for money.
Being on South Bank it is busy! However, great value.
We had booked but still needed to wait 5 minutes for a table.
Due to being busy it was hard to get the attention of server for extra plates or the bill. Food came out very fast and tasted great!
Overall good place for a quick bite to eat in good location.
Great food, reasonable prices and good atmosphere
Terrible food, especially the kids sausages which were so over cooked they'd turned black inside and we couldn't cut through it. Service was poor - but appreciate this may have been to staff absence. It's such a tourist trap. Avoid.
Very busy and very obviously stressed staff. Eye rolling and huffing and puffing due to large queue of people. Once we were seated service was quick and good. Child’s meal would be improved by vegetables as well as chips but good price for a child’s meal.
We really enjoyed our first experience at Giraffe - the food was lovely, good value and a good choice of menu for all tastes. My daughter says the fries were the best she’s ever had! Considering it was so busy, the service was efficient. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and it was lovely to see people out enjoying themselves again.
Felt very rushed and the staff wasn’t Attentive, it took nearly 10 minutes just get a drink and for the order to be taken.
Food was very average and not a lot of choice with desserts.
Will not be returning
Second visit here now. Exactly what I expected. Great food at a good price with helpful staff. Can't wait to come back
A great setting with friendly staff. All food was warm and well received
The restaurant was not open. The option to book should not have been available.
We had to swap a fork and knife as they were dirty. We had the nachos to start which were good. My wife had the Japanese Katsu Curry, she enjoyed this and was very tasty.
I had the Rodeo Burger. The chicken was a bit charred which spoilt the burger. I couldn’t be bothered to complain about it as I would be sitting waiting for ages whilst my wife ate her dinner. Shame because it otherwise would have been a nice meal to finish off a good day in London.
Booking a table was easy to do online. Service and speed was fine.
Lovely food served by friendly people. A great place.
Perfect for a family lunch after visiting the London Eye. Warm and friendly staff who made my little boy feel welcome and happy with a plastic Giraffe! Great food, particularly good value kids menu. Highly recommend this place. Thank you guys!

“I really liked the food because everything tasted good. We really liked the paintings on the walls, the pancakes were really good!” 😀😀
