We enjoyed an early tea before the footy final at the G yesterday evening. Wait staff were very welcoming and attentive despite the very busy early evening sitting. The food, as usual was exceptional - how the chefs and front of house staff manage such a hectic occasion when everyone is keen to get in and out to the footy at the same time is amazing. Congratulations!

As repeat customers we expect a pretty high standard and we were not disappointed! The super friendly staff engage with the customers and showcase their knowledge of the food and wine. Great staff really help a restaurant and they set the scene for the food. The duck meatballs were as perfect as always, the focaccia made me want to try and get a recipe and cook it at home it was so tasty and the texture so perfect. My wife thought the squid ink pasta was close to the best we had tried in Australia and rivaled that from Rome, my sausages were so unexpectedly tasty and the texture absolutely on point, and our daughter (5) rated the lasagne as the best she has had (even better than mummies which is actually a big call!) Desert was an amazing tiramisu, again as good as any in Melbourne and a chocolate torte and gelato which was faultless. Loved the opportunity to enjoy your wonderful dining experience again. One of our neighbourhood favourites. The food is consistently good and there are always daily specials to add to the standard menu.

We as usual enjoyed the atmosphere while having a sensational plate of spaghetti matricanna ….a wonderful bottle of red …all in all a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon ..a classic !
