Amazing food, excellent service and tasty food. This small independent restaurant is a gem difficult to find in London.

How was my booking? No idea,it was closed. Booked for Monday lunchtime, turned up to find the placed closed. A board outside said it did not open on Mondays so I will never know how good it was. The restaurant needs to update open table. As it was I found an excellent lebanese restaurant around the corner and ate there. It was a shame as I really wanted to try this restaurant. Another time ( not on a monday) maybe?

The space is nice and cosy, the menu has several options, and the staff are friendly. Perhaps it was an unfortunate moment, but we didn't have a great experience. Service was poor - we sat on three tables, one of which was visibly dirty. We had to ask four times for the table to be cleaned and even then the lady waiting at our table only cleaned one of the three tables. (It would also have been helpful to know that 'Georgian lemonade' comes in random (very sugary) flavours, such as blackcurrant, tarragon and pear). Dishes arrived at different and random times (e.g. the starter with one of the mains, then a few minutes later two more of the mains, then several minutes later one more of the mains etc). The staff forgot to prepare one of our mains, and when I reminded the waitress she did not acknowledge that she had forgotten to give the order or that they would now have to start cooking the dish, but only said that the food is "in progress". I ended up eating one hour after my friends, with all the other dishes having been cleaned up from the table. The food was hit and miss. Some dishes were good, some so and so, and a couple were clearly undercooked (I love Georgian food and have had it elsewhere, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be like that). The egg on the khachapuri was almost raw, and the potatoes in the "fried potatoes and mushroom" dish were neither fried, nor adequately cooked. Again, maybe this was a one-off, and these are things that can be easily fixed, so I wouldn't want to put others off giving this a try. But be prepared for some randomness.

Absolutely great little restaurant which is far more affordable and enjoyable than anything else in South Kensington. Have been longing for Georgian food since a visit to Tbilisi and the food here was exceptional. Also a lovely opportunity to support a family run restaurant, a seemingly dying breed in London. Make sure to book though as seemed very popular.

Was quite disappointing. I had quite big expectations as I like Georgian cuisine. Plov for £12 was just a white rice with some paprika on top and traces of carrot + few pieces of very dry boiled beef. As it came first it spoiled overall impression. I ate lots of plovs in different places across former USSR. And this one is the most bland, dry and tasteless Wouldn't pay more than £2. And size-wise It was more like side dish. Hachapuri and hinkali I think were fine, the way they should be. There was nothing special about Georgian bbq. I expected large skewers, but lamb was just grilled/fried. Any Turkish place does a better job with lamb. Wine was good we had few glasses of Kindzmarauli. Overall I will not come back again.
