We had a lovely family dinner at Georges. The waiter was very helpful and the service was excellent. Our waiter helped us choose a selection of dishes to try and helped us to get the quantity right. The food was superb and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful lunch but was very sad for the owners that it was not well patronized when we were there. We had excellent service. We were recommended the seafood platter to share which was great. The waiters were friendly and helpful but didn't hover. The menu was extensive so will try the lamb on the next visit.

Before we were even seated at our table. A customer approached us to tell us to turn around and find somewhere else for dinner. Our experience was pretty negative with extremely slow service and bad attitudes from most of the staff. We ordered a seafood banquet for two and the Greek lamb feast for two. We were pretty clear on what we ordered and after we ordered we waited for about 45 mins to be served only one of the two things we ordered. Somehow the restaurant made the error of food timings and messed up so only half of our table were server and while the other half had to wait until two people had completely finished their mains. When I mentioned the error, the main server didn’t take any responsibility and said the section we were in didn’t have a designated waiter and that there was a reason he had “quit three months ago”. Pretty poor experience which the restaurant failed to rectify. There was some rectification when the restaurant gave us one free chips and a tzatziki for the wait and some little pieces of baklava. No real apology for lack of service and no real discount for our bad experience. Should have listened to the man at the beginning who told us not to waste our time and money at this place. Overall experience was a 2 out of 10. The food was good but we won’t be back.

Great menu and a fantastic location on the King Street wharf. I thought it would be more expensive given the location. Pretty standard Sydney prices. About $10 for a beer and about $30 for souvlaki. Meal was nice. I do prefer paying a little more and getting everything as part of the meal. With this restaurant you get Souvlaki, Pita and Tzatziki. Then you add extra for chips, salad etc so it's around the $50 mark at the end of the day.

We went To Georges Mediterranean last night for dads birthday with a group of 7. For the kids starters we got the trio of dips and for entree and mains we got them the squid, haloumi, calamari, octopus and spanakopita. Adults got the lamb banquet and we had the chocolate baklava and Greek coffee for desert. Everything was exceptional, fresh and moorish. The lamb was the best I’ve ever eaten which coming from a Greek says a lot. Portions were generous. It was a very busty night and the wait staff and manager were attentive and timely with delivery of food, drinks and any questions we had. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun. Will definitely be coming come back.

Very impressed - our first time visit. Staff pretty much tripped over themselves (not literally) to help us, and were very friendly. Unfortunately we'd had a late lunch so were too full to try too many dishes, but the 3 that we had were lovely.

Whilst the pandemic has necessitated a somewhat reduced menu offering, the selection was still wide enough to enable my party of four to enjoy a number of entrees in mezze style as well as two mains. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was good and a fine selection of beverages was available. Highly recommended.
