Great venue and food was delicious. Portions are very small so would definitely recommend getting an entree and main.
Amazing the second time around!! Will definitely continue to recommend to friends!!
We had one of the set menus and it was spectacular. Every dish was exceptional and the sheer quantity of the food was more than ample for two hungry people. I would particularly single out the dips and the lamb shoulder. The young waitress really knew her hospitality and was friendly and very helpful. We will certainly go again
Friendly service and fantastic meal! Thoroughly enjoyed.
Food was impeccable and service was outstanding. This is my 2nd time at Gazi and it was such a lovely dining experience.
The staff at Gazi we’re exceptional! We had an international guest with us and she was so impressed with the service and food; as were we! First time, but we will definitely be back! Thanks a million!
Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Went here after a recommendation from a friend & I certainly was not disappointed
Partners birthday- food, customer service and price was amazing! Will definitely be back and recommend:) amazing!
From walking through the doors the staff were absolutely amazing. Very attentive without overdoing it. The food was great - it was a great fusion between the street food I've experienced in Greece with sprinkle of class on top. The venue is amazing and I really couldn't fault our experience. Thank you again to all the staff.
Generally a very enjoyable experience. Had to ask for the bill twice and we didn't get our "mothers day" gift as promoted. Apart from that the food was really nice as per the norm.
The entree prawns was delicious but it was not devein and it was Abit put off to eat. The barramundi fish was oily but and not flavourful enough. Other than that it was good.
Great venue, great food & great service. Went before a game at the "G". Much more pleasant than the local pub options & food much more delicious and comparatively not that expensive given the quality all round. A great place to meet friends before a footy game and be able to talk!!!!
Gazi had a delicious and appealing spread of items on the menu, food was exquisite, service was impeccable and the decor of the restaurant was so inviting and relaxing !!
Gazi came recommended by a Greek friend and it didn't disappoint.
I have been here previously and it was awesome. The waiters were great, but it seemed that everything was over salted this time. Disappointing because I know the great food they can do.
great food. excellent service by staff who moved us from a booth to a table on the floor when they realised that my rather large brother was very squished. many thanks.
The service and food was excellent. Highly recommend.
First time to Gazi, loved the ceiling terrecota pots and layout. Great atmosphere
We ordered chicken from the spit so anticipated a sizzling hot dish - it was cold and over cooked, obviously sitting for some time.
Service was chaotic and novice
A warm welcome as we entered and was seated promptly amazing service by all staff we passed I couldn’t fault one thing, flavours of the dishes made me wanting to go back for more a must try for anyone wanting to go
We visited twice. First time it was so full and the tables were so close together and it was super noisey. Hard to hear the waitress but the second time we went a bit earlier it was so quiet and lovely. Both times were amazing and I will be back!
Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner and were sat at the bar/ chefs stools.
We ordered the 7 course banquet and ABSOLUTLEY LOVED everything.
The waiting staff were friendly and prompt , the food was out of this world and the kitchen interacted with us which made the evening super special.
Ill be coming back , already craving the sweet potato dip and the chicken of the spit.
Thanks guys for a great evening.
Great food at good prices with friendly helpful staff
The explanation was good.. the variety was sufficient .. would have liked to see a moussaka with a ‘twist’ .. Tara was great ! Prawn kataifi was excellent
Good food but too noisy
I loved the food the service was good however found it very loud which made conversation hard without shouting.
Fabulous food and the service from the minute we walked in was excellent.
Fantastic thank you!
Great food and atmosphere, is very loud so be prepared to talk loud.
Staff members had a thorough understanding of the dietary needs of coeliac and were able to cater to these needs
Dined during a not too busy Friday lunch - service was fair, the food was hit & miss. The wrapped prawn was sensational, the dumplings a complete miss, the saganaki & the chicken main were ok. Would I give it another go? Yes. Would I hurry back? No.
Braised beef souvlas I ate was lovely and also the kids chicken souvlas. My husband had Pork Belly which was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was that the beef souvlas was quite small to what I was expecting as I am used to eating large souvlakis with heaps of fillings. I ended up buying Mcdonalds fries and choc sundae on the way home
We had the most amazing experience in Gazi! It was really made by our servers, unfortunately we didn’t catch their names but one was a young man from Manchester and one was a young woman from Korea. Both not only gave us everything we asked for in a timely manner, but were so friendly and engaging. I would go back for the service alone, but my god was the good amazing!
Glad I got to bring family here for a treat and they were thoroughly impressed! Food was outstanding and top notch chips (as always)! Understand that Gazi is always busy, unfortunately we had to wait 15 minutes for a table that we made reservations for.
The beef inside the pancake was dry. All our dishes appeared over cooked yet were served nowhere near hot enough
Amazing food, brilliant and attentive service. Hubby is coeliac, and they were really great about letting us know what was and wasn't safe for him to have.
Gazi, we will be back for sure....many, many times!
The chicken was amazing! The brocollini was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed everything! The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the dessert that lights on fire. I thought there would be more theatrics involved as I’ve seen some that have the wow factor down pat but it tasted great! Overall, very happy!
Service was very rushed and unwelcoming - dips, entree and mains were finished 35 minutes after arriving, which is fine if you want to be in and out however, for a $250 Easter Sunday dinner this was not really what we were after. We were not offered any dessert or coffee after the mains. It seems they just want to get you out and squeeze in another group before the next sitting. The mains we unaccompanied by even a few chips or a small salad/garnish on the plate. The food itself was fairly good but I’ve definitely had better Greek food than this elsewhere. Just all seems a bit slapped together and has no ‘Wow’ factor which so many other Melbourne restaurants can and do provide. This was our 2nd visit here after a fairly similar experience the 1st time - sorry but we won’t bother for a 3rd time.
Love coming to eat at Gazi. Friendly & professional staff. Great food & atmosphere
Execellent venue, friendly service and atmospheric.
Delicious food and extensive wine list will make us come back. We had a great evening.
