Gather at Coriole
Head Chef Tom Tilbury has created a menu inspired by his passion for gathering wild and local ingredients, and creating unique tasting experience for diners. Guests can choose the wine paired chef's selection to receive an immersive dining experience highlighting the best of our Estate and local produce or select from the a la carte menu.
The dynamic menu is complemented by an extensive wine list featuring current release and museum Coriole wines as well as an international selection.
In August and September, we'll be hosting special Sunday events - 'the Sunday roast'. Join us for 'not so' traditional roast with a 5 course sharing menu for $50 per person.
Gorgeous food and wine. Such a beautiful setting and location. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go again.
Unusual in the food sharing approach. Interesting combinations of vegetables and main ingredient. A very pleasant winery setting and separate tasting of wines.
Highly recommended. Nice view, good food and service. Excellent wines.
What a pleasant dining experience here for my birthday. Every meal was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the butternut dish and the accompanying brassicas. Loved the bread and olives. Will be coming back every season to experience all the different dishes and seasonal produce!
Just brilliant Just brilliant Just brilliant Just brilliant Just brilliant
Fantastic food in a beautiful setting. We ordered the '12 hour roasted butternut, fregola, ricotta salata, bay oil', 'King fish crudo, lemon cream, kohlrabi, potato crisp' with bread to start and potatoes on the side. All excellent, especially the potatoes and the butternut.
Our group decided on the Chef’s selection without the wine pairing. Food flavours won us over. There was plenty of food and it was served in a timely way. We enjoyed the natural herbs, spices and garnishes. We felt quite relaxed and being a cold day appreciated the lovely fire.
Celebrated at Coriole for a family birthday. The chef's selection was an enjoyable way to dine together. Vegetarian option was provided for one member of the party. Perhaps could have a few additional vego choices, but all others very satisfied by the excellent courses provided. many very tasty and interesting dishes. Rainy cold winter's day, but very comfortable and cosy in the dining area with a wood fire but retaining wide window views into the beautiful Southern vales and rear garden area of Coriole. Would definitely recommend for a special meal. Waiting staff friendly and attentive and helpful.
A wonderful venue for an impromptu drive to McLaren Vale and lunch - the service was exceptional, the food delicious and the view superb. A lovely birthday lunch and a venue which we look forward to returning.
Not flexible at all with the set menu. As there were 8 of us we were forced to have the $70 set menu even though one of our guests were coeliac and had to be altered. We didn’t want the whole menu and as it turned out it was below our expectations compared to other restaurants. The steak was chewy and the duck wasn’t available therefore we had to have chicken which is a completely different flavour and did not go well with the dish. Overall very disappointed and will not return or recommend this restaurant.
We shared a table on the Saturday of the recent long weekend in June.
After olives and crusty bread and as there were four of us, we ordered one of each of the main courses and a serving of brasicas to share. The food was stunning and all of us rated all dishes and the accompanying GSM wine outstanding. We followed these with equally scrumptious desserts and coffee.
We had a delightful French waiter who attended to our every need.
We left feeling wonderful and will certainly repeat the visit. Thankyou Coriole!
I love Gather but was disappointed with the very noisy and rude (swearing) table next to ours. It was my 60th so it would have been good to have staff ask them to quieten down as they swore at us! The set menu of roast was not as good as when you have the other choices for groups which is what I originally expected until I received a phone call the week before. When I talked beforehand they said I could bring a cake to make it more festive for my birthday but as they brought in my cake they informed me that there would be a $5 per person cakeage charge. This sort of ruined it for me and my guests as we were happy to have both the set final course and the cake. I was not going to pay the extra!!! We literally finished just before 5pm so had little time to go and purchase wine too. Considering people had come from miles away there were a few disappointments.
Great food- not sure why the wine was $20 more expensive than it we bought it at the cellar door. Detracted from the experience, having to spend that extra monies.
Wonderful food and views a made for a fantastic afternoon at Coriole. Our international visitors loved the entire day, made even more special by the friendly service from our waiter.
Our Sunday lunch was absolutely fabulous. The food was delicious, views amazing and we will definitely be back!
Overall we enjoyed our lunch in the atrium setting, whilst admiring the majestic gardens and beautiful rain soaking the ground. Our only disappointment was some of the food lacked the high calibre normally shown here - the pork belly meat was tender but the accompanying salad of just lettuce - was served with a (sweet) mayonnaise.
Had a great experience, really enjoyed the Sunday roast concept, excellent service and loved the garden
Very good to great food. excellent service and great place to dine. Highly recommended.
Great food and ambience and setting. Enjoyed the whole experience.
My husband and I went to Coriole to celebrate our wedding anniversary we had the chefs selection menu the food was delicious and our waiter went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met and that we had a good afternoon which we did a beautiful related atmosphere thanks Eve
Food was amazing! I would love to go back, but I am not based in Adelaide.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Coriole. Some dishes were superior to others, particularly the pork rilletes and the chicken. The desserts were superb. We enjoyed the Coriole rose wine. Our waiter Bella was wonderful.
Excellent food and service. Coriole is a beautiful place to visit with a lovely garden and views.
Family lunch, we’ve been many times before and love the ambience and setting. This time however the food was disappointing, trying too hard to be different and quirky. The children’s’ meals in particular were very disappointing in both presentation and taste. A shame really as it is a lovely destination.
Beautiful setting. Selection of interesting dishes to choose from, mostly delicious (unfortunately my garfish not the best choice.)
We always like to try food that is different than that which we can prepare at home. We try more and more recipes at home so it becomes increasingly difficult to find a dish we haven't tried. The meal at Coriole exceeded expectations. Really different and perfectly executed. The person who waited on our table was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained a French and Italian wine style and we both tried and enjoyed them. A little bit of Southern vines paradise.
We visited with two overseas friends and enjoyed the tasting menu with matched wines, which for the price was reasonably good value. Whilst I would definitely recommend overall, we found the service a little on the cold and impersonal side. I think the staff could show a little more enthusiasm and interaction with the diners.
We had such an enjoyable day at Coriole. Staff were friendly and attentive despite a very busy Sunday lunch. Our dietary requirements were
not an issue. The views are spectacular and the food is fresh , delicious & just enough. We will return again!
Family gathered to celebrate Father’s 92nd birthday and daughter’s 60th and were treated to gorgeous, interesting dishes served with an easy manner and a dash of panache.
The view was breathtaking. What a Sunday lunch.
The service was great and so was the food and I would certainly recommend to anyone to go there
What constitute a platter?
Certainly not as presented at Coriole, what was presented was difficult to share and more akin to a main meal plate.
Excellent, a highlight of our trip. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
We enjoyed bringing our friends for lunch. Staff were amazing. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong meal but others were happy. I think a broader menu would be great. I did find it hard to chose.
Cannot fault anything about Coriole. The service, food and ambience were first class. Very highly recommended.
Very good wine. Nice size meals. Good service. Nice size restaurant & very pleasant outlook.
Very enjoyable, tasty lunch in a lovely setting. Friendly, helpful staff.
Wonderful experience-lovely food served in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Excellent value for the standard provided, particularly if also buying wine.
The food service and overall experience at the Coriole was and is always amazing. The chef’s selection feed me menu and wine pairing was outstanding and worth every cent.
Had a delightful day. Food was good and the wine was great.
The service was excellent and so was the food. the setting is glorious and the gardens, despite the recent weather spectacular.
