The food was absolutely delicious. Mouthwatering. So many different flavour profiles. Service was excellent. Cute little quaint restaurant. Cozy and would 11/10 go back.
The food was amazing. The tabbouleh, moussaka'a, and chicken and filet skewers were all delicious. Will be eating here again!
The food was amazing! The services was kind and professional, not much waiting in between dishes. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and be visiting again next time.
Tiny venue, definitely recommended to make reservations for the dinner rush. My boyfriend and I had the kabob platter to share and had two additional sides and the hallomi cheese for an app. The food was delicious and really great value. Noise was on the high side tonight as there were two families with really young children there as well , which didn't work well with how small the restaurant is (so it was really noticeable when the kids cried). Next time we come, we will try lunch to see the difference. Overall, excellent for date night.
Super menu, J ai adoré le service et aussi le serveur très souriant !
Outstanding Lebanese food in a tiny dining room. We have lived in the Middle East and the shish taouk at Garage Beirut was better than in many places of the Gulf. Bravo! Also liked the mouhammara etc. Very nice, we will be back!
Delicious Lebanese food in a small cosy setting
A beautiful date turned sour. Food was pretty good, but things started off badly when the waiter excitedly said it was his first week on the job. It was only a matter of time before there was a mistake in our order. On top of it, reserving a week in advance landed us on the table that felt like the worst table in the house; the one that overlooked the dim kitchen which ruined the experience for us.
I don’t think I’ll go back, but may order out if that’s an option
While the food was ok, what food we had, the one star rating is because the overall experience was incredibly bad. They may have a good chef, but they don’t know how to run a restaurant. My husband and I were seated for dinner at 7:30 Friday evening and were told they had run out of red wine by the glass and we could only buy it by the bottle, which we did not do. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees and a side salad. The first plate of food to arrive was my husbands entree, as if we hadn’t even ordered the appetizers. We thought maybe they were just going to bring it all at once, but no. A few minutes later one appetizer came. We made the best of it and shared those two dishes. I was trying not to eat too much of my husbands entree and eventually he asked if my entree was coming. But mine didn’t come until he had completely finished his entree and the one appetizer. And we are not fast eaters. Finally my entree came. After I had finished, the waiter asked if we wanted dessert and we said we’re still waiting for the food we ordered, a salad and an appetizer. The waiter got angry with us and said “I do not recall that conversation.” There were no apologies or acknowledgment that they may have made a mistake, only that we had dreamed what we ordered. My recommendation is that if you are looking for an enjoyable stress free evening, look elsewhere.
Very fresh food.
Lebanese people love it, so that says something.
Extremely friendly and helpful waitress.
Amazing food. Good ambiance. Chill vibes.
Food is good but pricey small portions in a small noisy place with no particular atmosphere. I felt more in a garage than in Beirut.
We had a wonderful meal and evening at Garage Beirut. The food is delicious!
I was very eager to try this restaurant as it had been touted as one of the best--if not THE BEST--Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal. When the pita bread arrived at our table COLD and WRAPPED IN PLASTIC, that was a terrible sign of things to come. The side dish of rice, which is boring enough if it's not pilaf, was just a bunch of rice in a bowl--zero attempt at nicer presentation. Some of the meat in the mixed grill was tough and the accompanying "sauces" were served in plastic takeout containers...I guess I just thought the food would be more nicely presented...and the bread at least warmed up and not served wrapped in plastic--really tacky. The yogurt and chickpea dish was delicious, as was the fatoush, even if it had a balsamic, not a traditional lemon/olive oil, dressing. Wine selection was also VERY limited and disappointing. Overall, not great for the money, and, sadly, I would not recommend it.
The food is amazing. Space is small, but it makes it quite intimate. A little more decoration would not hurt, but maybe it is just my own taste. I'll for sure come back !!
Always delicious, fresh, tasty. It's hard to choose a favorite dish. So many wonderful choices.
This was my first time at Garage Beirut. Service was excellent and very friendly. I ordered shish taouk and was disappointed since it was quite dry. However, I will go back: I liked the place, the service and the very diverse menu.
Nice place, you have the possibilità to taste really good quality lebanese food, the service Is great, people very kind
What a great restaurant I loved the food and the service It’s a must go
Great spot! Friendly service and best Lebanese food in the city!
Amazing food and service. Highly recommended for authentic Lebanese food.
Food was excellent. Service was great. A taste of Lebanon in downtown Montreal.
The food was great. The only problem was that we had reserved a table online, but the staff had not reserved a table at the restaurant for us (although they had for other parties). So other parties had to move off of a table for us and we were seated right in front of the kitchen door where the wait staff were going in and out of all night
I love this restaurant. Extraordinary food and excellent service. Was nice to introduce it to friends who didn't know about it.
The food was great. Very authentic feel....just like Beirut? Small busy place that felt a little understaffed but we got our food in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning myself.
Amazing food, service and experience! We will definitely be going back when in Montreal!
I like Lebanese food and what they offer is delicious.
In a large city with so many dining options they provide good quality delicious food at a very reasonable price
Was greeted very rudely to start. Place was very loud, not very comfortable, food was n't good at all. Chicken wasn't thoroughly cooked and left me and my wife with stomach issues all the way to Sunday. There are so many better middle eastern options.
Excellent food. The chicken skewers with yogurt garlic sauce brought out an "Oh Wow!" Small and authentic.
Authentic Cuisine, very tasty and healthy.
The service was great despite being it a small place.
Definitely I would repeat it
Good food, good service, good value. Not much atmosphere.
The meal we had may be one of the best meals we’ve had in Montreal. Outstanding!!
Simple surroundings, great food. Not a Michelin starred atmosphere by any means, but who cares - friendly vibe, tasty food, and attentive service, and all very reasonable on the pocket book.
Great!!! As always it was a great experience?
The best place in Montreal for Lebanese food, and very reasonable.
Make sure you order Makanek sausages
Balila, Kibibie, rikakat,sabousik pastries
This place was FANTASTIC - Husam. Would def recommend
Good food, but far to busy on a saturday for only one waiter.
Petit restaurant, peu de tables, il est donc nécessaire de réserver. Le personnel est efficace tout en étant à l'écoute du client. La nourriture est excellente, faite sur place bien sûr.
Great food, lovely staff. We really enjoyed our meal! Definitely recommend for those seeking authentic Lebanese food. (The Fatteh and Fattoush were out of this world and of course the kebabs were amazing!)
