Fuego at Fenwick Newcastle
Set within the stunning Fenwick Food Hall, Fuego is a Mediterranean-inspired wine bar and restaurant. Here you can enjoy a light snack or full meal from a menu ranging from Mediterranean tapas and dishes to Fuego’s signature offering, Napoli style hand-stretched pizzas.
The name ‘Fuego’ was inspired by the feature wood stone oven, from which many of the restaurant’s dishes are delivered. As well as being influenced by this striking focal point the menu also draws inspiration from the Food Hall’s inherent focus on charcuterie, cheese and delicatessen.
Guests can expect to find an extensive drinks menu that includes a choice of 20 wines by the glass thanks to a state of the art wine preservation system, specialist craft beers from European artisan producers and chic aperitifs such as an Aperol Spritz or a Hugo.

Lots of lovely things to choose from, but I would have like to have seen a traditional green salad to go with them!
Another great visit to Fuego. Has never failed us!
Great place, great service, great food!
attentive and friendly staff. Very accommodating with my son
We’ve had much better experiences here before. Felt like they were missing something today. Maybe it’s just the covid factor. Hopefully they’ll find their mojo again. It’s always been our town go to. Won’t give up on them yet.
Meeting friends for the first time in a year so we booked Fuego to meet, chat and dine.
Service and food was excellent, the staff are so friendly and professional.

Our favourite place to eat in Newcastle
Had date night here. The staff here are top class and very attentive. The food is outstanding but I found some food on the menu is a little overpriced. pizza’s we’re outstanding as well. A very nice setting prefect for date nights are just a stop of After shopping. We could of stayed there all day enjoying wine and chatting.
Beautiful food. We ordered tapas, and each serving was delicious, although on the small side!
Attentive service, polite and friendly staff.
Great food, nicest pizza I’ve had in ages. The staff were very good and attentive, would definitely visit again.
Been a few times. Will be back again, first class service and amazing food. One of our favourites in Newcastle.
Interesting menu, great food and helpful staff. Would recommend.
Although we didn’t eat this time, we had a great time sat at the bar and enjoying a couple of drinks. Staff were great and Fuego is our go to place whenever we want a drink or food in town.
Mother and daughter day date lovely day! Staff fab!
Food came out far too quick to be made fresh and we felt we were being rushed ,wasn't enough room on the table for it, didn't have any atmosphere really .
As usual the staff were great they went out of their way to ensure a request we had made was implemented
Hard to choose what to order as there are so many things I liked
Fantastic food and brilliant staff, we love it here and will come back again and again.
Very nice and good service. Only down side was I ordered sparkling mineral water and received still.
Food portion v small. Normally very good. Maybe just after opening up after lockdown.
Great open safe dining space and lovely friendly staff. Small dishes up to the usual high standard but are portions a tad smaller theses days?
So pleased to be back. Great location, hospitality and food.
As always fuegos did not disappoint, great food and fantastic service, well done and thank you
