Was a lovely night, very nice food and great service. The restaurant was very quiet so the atmosphere was not as good as normal
The food and drinks were excellent. The front of house was fine but the waiting team and especially the lead were quite dour and unfriendly. Not enough to stop us returning but not what we would expect from such a quality establishment
Great service with a personal touch. Superb food which didnt take at all long to arrive. Loved the laid back but classy vibe. Fantastic birthday meal!
Great food and service
My very expensive lobster risotto was terribly bland and under seasoned. Service was pretty impersonal too. Not once were we asked if we were enjoying or had enjoyed our meal. I expect better than that when I’m spending over £100 a head.
The food is worse
We ate off the fixed price menu which was good value at £27 for three fabulous courses
Service was excellent this lunchtime with a lively very attentive waitress
The design of the restaurant is modern and funky, I liked it
An excellent ambience and lovely service
I am a frequent visitor to Fucina and this last experience was extremely poor. I had made a mistake in my booking which was originally for 2 but we arrived as 4. We were quickly accommodated . On ordering the food we had requested some butter with the bread. This only arrived after a third request. Min course as arrived very late.
Excellent service !!
The stars tell it all.
Fucina is the perfect restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Great service, although they could ask if you're finished before clearing plates!
Always a great experience!
Why do you charge £8 for table water?
I felt this meal was all overpriced for what was unremarkable food.
£30 for a piece of meat with no sides/salad or a garnish?
Hope it stays fine for you...
Food was excellent and the service couldn’t be faulted.
Very pleasant experience!
Business luck for 7. Very good service. Tasteless starters - tuna tartare tasted of nothing. Octopus main was overcooked and soggy. Indifferent, indistinguishable bed of mashed black beans and some gravy. Horrible. Colleagues had sea bass (overcooked and dry), with various starters. No one enjoyed their meal. Will not go back; do not recommend.
An impeccable service with delicious food in a great atmosphere
Very nice venue and food. However the prices are high.
Outstanding service, all staff is beyond lovely. Atmosphere is wonderful and food is absolutely delicious. My favourite restaurant so far.
Mediocre value for the price. Would not return, as there are many more restaurants with better value.
Absolutely loved it. Staff were professional and recommended very nice wine. I rlly recommend taking the mushroom risotto as it was fantastic .
Food is up and down. Some dishes, like mushroom risotto are fantastic, tomato basil salad also very good. Seafood linguine was lacking seafood and taste. High prices red wines, white wines are moderately priced.
We ordered a burrata that basically came alone. we were supposed to eat burrata alone with a spoon (never seen that in my life).... When we asked for some bread, they brought us 2 half slices of toasted supermarket bread and then charged us £4.5 for that. That is just very poor thinking! They should rather increase the price of their dishes and include bread when it’s needed to eat the dish, like burrata (and not 2 tiny pieces per basket but and actual basket of bread, like in any restaurant).
Brilliant for a birthday or date night
This restaurant is in a great location, presented in a lovely condition and very clean, service is also very good.
That’s the good part - the food and pricing is totally out of order! We ordered chicken pate as a starter and what came was a flat bread with the thinnest smudge of something that looked like pate but had no taste.
The seafood pasta again was disappointment - salty and oily hardly and seafood!
My friend ordered the carbonarra - again tasteless and dry!
Lobster risotto for 40.00 was a total waste of money!!
Sadly we all left feeling cheated and let down. There are far better places that offer true quality of food in an authentic taste also! Try Sale Pepe in Knightsbridge, Da Marios in South ken to name but a few!!
We are happy to pay money for quality food but here it’s literally overpriced “microwave meals”!!!
I would avoid this place if you are looking for lovely authentic food.
Calm atmosphere, spa-like! good service, though slightly over priced, we will return however, tasty food!
Excellent service from the moment we approached the outside door. Front of house quickly took out coats from us and showed us to the bar as our table was being prepared and we arrived early. We had fantastic cocktails from the bar and the food was amazing. Would recommend.
Excellent restaurant! Nice place to meet friends !
Met friends for dinner at Fucina. Noise level unbelievable and left before desert as we couldn’t hear ourselves think. Wine prices were ridiculous starting at around £45 for pretty ordinary stuff. Food was OK but nothing special. One of us ordered green pasta which didn’t look green and was covered in a rich cream sauce. Bad experience in the loo at Marylebone Station later!
Nice people, the food was ok not amazing.
Somehow the order made by one of the guests was totally forgotten. No attempt was made to make up for the underwhelming service by eg throwing in some free coffees or anything at all. Food was actually quite good.
Delicious food. Great Service. Great location. Will go again.
Me and my partner had a wonderful night, the food was delicious, the ambience was spot on and service was great. Would definitely reccomend
Excellent food and service! Would recommend!
I loved this restaurant, the build, style, presentation, quality of food and atmosphere , as an occasional, special it’s perfect.
Food was delicious, however was disappointed with the service. The top 3 wines on the list were out of stock, our coffees were cold and had to be sent back. We therefore reduced the optional service charge and the waiter chased after us and questioned us on the street to get a justification. On top of this they questioned our Scottish backnotes, which is quite frankly ridiculous.
The food and general atmosphere at Fucina were really good. The service was hit and miss, it took a long time for staff to take our order a the start and at dessert and, even though there were a lot of staff on, it was difficult to catch their eye when we wanted something. Our main was delivered to the table whilst we were still eating starters. They took it away (after we asked them to) but when they brought the mains later it was clearly the same food that had been sitting under the heat lamps. The staff were very apologetic and gave us a discount however this is too nice quality a restaurant to be making those kinds of mistakes. Overall the food was good but the service needs to be improved.
Slow service in the beginning.
The food portions were on the small side.
The tiramisu was to die for!
