Frogmore Creek Wine Bar is an elegant yet casual space set right on the Hobart Waterfront with views capturing an aspect of Hobart City and Mt Wellington that are unsurpassed.

Happy Hour Tuesday to Saturday 4- 6pm includes $10 wines and $12 cocktail of the week.

All the wines on the extensive list are produced at the Frogmore Creek vineyard, 20 minutes from Hobart in the Coal River Valley.

Take away wines also available.

As always, the food is outstanding and the service is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue I found was that the music was a little loud and hard to have a conversation with others at the table as I couldn't hear them well. Well done. Highly recommend. :)

Family dinner with older mother and brother. Lovely evening, great service, waiters were brilliant as was the food. Music was perhaps a little loud. Views over water stunning. We are going back again with different group in October and have already booked dinner there for the six of us!!

Inspired food snippets, nice wine and cocktail deals for happy hour, cool grooves, great furniture, and outlook. We will be back (again).

Food was great, servers and staff were lovely. It's a great spot now for a slightly fancy get together. Beer prices are a bit absurd though ($15 for a cascade pale ale). As a note I emailed on the morning of the initial booking to let them know I was sick and had to cancel. Was told a $25pp fee would apply if I didn't rebook. I was going to move the date anyway but not very happy about this new trend. Cancelling for a valid reason on a not very busy night should just be respected by the business, especially as I contacted as soon as I could.

I can't fault the service, we were looked after perfectly. The tapas-style food was modern, fresh and had some delightful little taste surprises. Highly recommend as a wine with light snacks option, with very comfy chairs snd couches. My only complaint is the price of the wine, its very expensive by the glass. That's obviously the product that pays for the venue and staff because there wouldn't be a huge margin in the food. The quality of the service and venue did make the price of the wine go down better though!

We had the best time! All the staff were so lovely and looked after us super super well. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, the venue is beautiful. One tinsy tiny thing would be when sitting near the sliding door - the cold breeze is very cold.
