Fresco Da Franco is an experience nobody should miss out on. The food is amazing, they have creative dishes, just home made deliciousness- the service is second to none and the ambiance is energetic and inviting. I bring people to Fresco because I know they are going to love it - and it never disappoints.

Beautiful setting and great food. If you like great homemade Italian food and specialty items it's the place. Great service. I like to dress up and goto Fresco with my family. It's an upscale family place or a great date place. I sent a couple there the very next day.

Lovely dinner!

They did a great job in helping us to celebrate our twin daughters' 16th birthday! We could not have been happier.

The place was great food and service wise BUT they are not following indoor dining protocols for COVID. The place was packed and I kept my mask on when I wasn’t eating. At one point, some 15 people got up to dance in the of the restaurant. It’s not big inside so they were in top of each other and other tables. I left at that point.

I Celebrated my birthday with the ladies and we had an amazing time... the food was delicious and the service was great... Definitely coming back soon!!!

This is my wife and I favorite restaurant in Montclair. We try and go at least once a month. The food is always outstanding and the service and ambiance is top notch. Try the eggplant stack for the appetizer. Best I’ve ever had.

I had a confirmed reservation through open table for November 18th at 12pm and the restaurant was not open. There was no email notification. No one called to say they would be closed. And four of us showed up including myself that drove 45 minutes. Ans when I called the number for the restaurant no one ever answers and they say opening hours were 11am to 10pm. How disappointing.

Even though it was outside dining, it was a warm day and very pleasant seating. The server was attentive and the food was quite fresh.

It was wonderful! The vibes were great. The food was fantastic. Overall just so yummy!!

I'm torn here- there were several things I liked- a varied menu, good Covid protocols, good ambience and good for outdoor dining. Food was mostly good, however, a bit heavy handed. A risotto special with shrimp was way too rich, an interesting eggplant stack was loaded with oil and despite my asking if the artichoke appetizer was with a fresh artichoke (as promised), it was canned or jarred (tasty, nonetheless). Service was a bit absent minded.

It’s a BYOB.. I missed that. They had wine delivery..5 mins...awesome. Food was amazing. Meatball appetizer melted in my mouth. Fettuccine shrimp (can’t remember the other word) and vodka sauce.... to die for. The bolognese was also good. Nice ambiance. Proper social distancing . Definitely coming back.

The occasion was my husband's 75th birthday. The noise level was very high and we found ourselves almost shouting at each other. They did turn it down after our request,but layer raised it to an even higher level for another table's celebration and then turned it down after awhile. The brunch menu was not as shown on the website. Service was polite, but not friendly. Food good,but portions small.

We always have a great time at Fresco da Franco! The food and service were outstanding.

This place went up in all respects. I visited it many years ago and it was a very typical Italian place. Since then - many things have changed to the better - service, setting, food choices. Prices went up accordingly - it is not a place for money conscientious people as it was before. Well deserved though... And you still can bring your favorite bottle!
Especially I can underscore moderate size menu with limited but all good choices in each area.

All of the food we ordered was excellent, except for the octopus. Was boiled, not grilled. Service was rushed which we don't like. Unfortunately there were some hot rod cars which made it difficult to have a conversation for a bit. The end of the night, thank goodness, we had to deal with the cigar smoke. Will try again if only because the food was excellent.

This is my favorite restaurant i would recommend this place to anyone who would want to try something fun in Montclair.

Fresco Da Franco is an amazing restaurant. The food is perfect and every time I have a celebration, that is the place I go.

Service and food was great, staff was friendly and option to sit inside and outside was nice.

Nice restaurant and ambiance but the food did not meet our expectations. I had the black ink fettuccine with shrimp, the shrimp was overcooked (chewy) and the portion was very small. We also ordered the salmon stuffed w crab, we would say it was good but not impressed.

Aly was our waiter and he was WONDERFUL! He was super helpful and was great to our 4 year old (Making sure he had extra ice in his water) :) Thanks Aly!
