Our waiter was great and the food was phenomenal!! We’ll definitely be back.
Food, service and ambiance was great. Highly recommend.
Outstanding food and service, we enjoyed all of the atmosphere.
Lovely dinner. The good was delicious, service was superb. Can not wait to go back next time in the Tyson’s Corner.
We love this restaurant. We usually go there with friends and family. Food and services are great
We absolutely loved it! Will definitely be back.
We did the brunch buffet. Food was delicious!! A lot of people but the lines moved quickly. Lots of fresh food.
Too loud and too expensive. Long wait even with a registration.
I made the reservation through open table but once we got there we still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. That was the only issue with this place.
It was ok for a birthday dinner. Nothing special to celebrate here.
The staff we’re all genuinely nice and went out of their way to cater to us.
Poor table location. Food delivery abrupt
Fantastic meal! corn bread and bacon lollies delish, willing to tweak the burger and pasta for our kids, wish we saved room for dessert!
All in all a good restaurant, but very loud. Definitely not for anything other than a business lunch or evening drinks and the like.
It was good food and good service. I like the atmosphere and friendly staff.
Loved this place! So many good vegetarian options, everything was delicious. Their hand crafted sodas are definitely worth ordering. Between us we had the Impossible Burger, prime rib, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly cooked. Will be back!
We always have a great experience here! Great place for meeting up with friends.
My family and i normally go to the location in DC even though we live 2 miles away from the Tysons location but we always stayed away because the reviews for the service was poor. However, we had a celebration and we decided not to drive all the way to DC and give this place a shot. Well i should have stuck with the location in DC. The food was good but unfortunately it took a long time to come out. I had to ask the waitress why it took a long time because she stopped coming to our table after she took our order. Our waitress was not that friendly compared to the staff in DC. I was disappointed by the service, i will just continue to go to the location in DC.
Great location and great food! Excellent customer service. Will visit again!
We generally like this place, especially the popcorn appetizer and the chocolate cake. However, this last time was not so great. I ordered the steak salad and my husband ordered the French dip sandwich. My salad came out and the steak was well done. The waitress had not asked how I wanted it cooked so I just brushed it off as my fault for not stating I wanted it more on the medium side not well done, though the waitress should have asked. My husband’s dish was basically a plate of grease. There was literally a pile of grease floating on the bottom of the plate. Each time he picked up fries or his sandwich it dripped with grease. He first wiped his food with his napkin before eating. He wanted to say something but we didn’t see our waitress for about 15 minutes and it was not busy as it was 5 and the dinner crowd had not arrived yet. We were starving so we ate what we had, though my husband left more than usual as he couldn’t stomach eating anymore grease. Then we ordered the cake that we love. This time it was a little dryer than normal but that was fine. All in all we have decided their main dishes are ok at best. Their popcorn, desserts (most times), and drinks are worth getting. I don’t know that we will go for dinner again.
they kept running out of food and we were told only 1 area for the buffet line throughout the whole restaurant.
Buffet not well stocked. Spent a lot of time waiting on key items. Like plates.
We enjoyed our first dining experience with Founding fathers--we would only say that the food at the buffet need to be re-stocked quicker, as there were some menu options that were not available--also, at one point there were no dishes.
Our server was great and the food was amazing! Our only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars for service) was that the food was slow to be replaced on the buffet, and there was a fair amount of socializing that the service line people were doing that appeared to slow down the process.
I am very disappointed with our last experience with this restaurant:
1) On 3/10/18 I made a reservation via Open table at around 12:30pm, for 5, with the request that our table be wheelchair accessible.
2) I call the restaurant at 1:00 pm to make sure the table was wheelchair accessible and to request if it was possible to start earlier; the restaurant employee said she could accommodate us at 8:45pm, and that the table was wheelchair accessible.
3) We arrived at 8:40pm and, to our surprise, our reservation had not been updated in their system, therefore we had to wait 1/2 hour.
4) We get to the Bar but were not served alcohol because two of our guests were tourists, and they would not accept foreign ID but for a passport.
5) When I called the manager, it took him +15 minutes to appear, and he placed himself on the other side of the bar, giving us a strong message of no possible communication, and that I would have to raise my voice; I had to ask him to come closer to me to talk.
6) The bartender's and the manager's explanation was: "It is the Law, we cannot accept other countries IDs, except passports." It actually is restaurant policy.
How do other businesses in NY, LA, wineries and breweries across the US, and other restaurants in DC do to serve tourists?
7) We got a table, and was not WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY: THE SPACE BETWEEN THE COUCHES AND WALL TO ACCESS IT WAS EXACTLY THE SIZE OF THE WHEELCHAIR. Our friend did almost not fit through the space making me wonder if they meet the Americans with Disabilities Act.
8) To my dismay, the wheelchair did not fit in the designated table either: it had one leg where the chair goes! Very uncomfortable to have again all eyes on us. It was worse for our friend in the wheelchair.
9) We finally sat at another table, had a super dinner, helped by a fantastic server.
10) At 10:15pm the restaurant canceled our reservation via Open Table! why?
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Awesome! Would go again and again!
The bar service tonight was weak. We come here a few times a month, not the best experience tonight.
Good experience overall
Had a nice dinner here. I had scallops which were fantastic, the risotto was great as well. Another member of my group had steak, he was not impressed at all. Not cooked as he asked and very tough. The other two with me had seafood options, again they were great. Our server was nice and attentive. The Macarons for dessert for amazing! Highly recommend. Overall a decent meal, wouldn't recommend the steak but everything else we ate was good.
It was a great date night!
Cool decor. Yummy food. We enjoyed ourselves. Country ham and fig app was delish.
Great service. Mediocre food, at best, especially given the prices. Much better food and value anywhere.
The food was average
Great food and service, never disappoints! One must try their Skillet Cornbread - the best you could find around!
We really enjoyed the food and the beverages. It would be great if you could have more vegan options available - to include salads and roasted vegetables / potatoes that don't contain meat or animal products.
With regard to the buffet, some people were extremely rude and on top of one another in the line. I saw the staff continually bringing dishes out to refill quickly - but, unfortunately, some of the diners seemed impatient and rude and like this was their first meal in three weeks. Some better crowd control at the buffet would be helpful...there was no shortage of food...
Overall - the food was good and our waiter was extremely attentive and professional...
We arrived on time, but we had to wait another 20 minutes for our table. The place was packed, and the workers appeared to have little patience with the situation. Food was great, but I believe the experience would have not been as good if we depended more from the servers. There were were not enough stops at our table (to find out if we needed anything else), and we expected more often stops, offering other items, such as shrimp. When we left, our parking ticket was supposed to have been properly validated, but the ticket did not work at the gate, and we had to come back inside to have it properly done.
We waited for 50 minutes - past the time of our reservation - to be seated. Otherwise, table service was excellent, food and drinks were very good, and ambiance was nice. It's really unfortunate the evening started on a negative note. We arrived prior to our reservation time, were told it would be "just a few minutes" until we were seated, and then we waited nearly an hour for a table. IF we were told in advance it would be such a long wait, we could have chosen whether to stay or not, knowing there would be a wait, or at least have waited at the bar.
Not impressive at all. Service was slow, food was average and birthday girl was not even treated fot a free dessert like other restaurants. I would not come back
