An amazing service, great food and drinks. The place in DC to have fun with friends. And, the distillery is fantastic. Our bourbon drinks were fabulous. Plus, the service rocked. Our server made great recommendations, was attentive and kind. Great experience!

Thanksgiving dinner experience: very late! I had a reservation, arrived half an hour ahead of my reserved time and still got to sit down at a table late by one hour and fifteen minutes from my reserved time. Unbelievable! I think they overbooked the evening knowing that few places are open on thanksgiving and people will have no option but to wait. When we actually sat down and had dinner: the service and food were pretty good!

It was odd. Some of the items were phenomenal, very flavorful! But then some things were basic, boring, and lacking flavor. The Thanksgiving veggie loaf was bizarre. Lifelong vegetarian here and I couldn’t even begin to guess what that was made of (maybe beets based on pink color alone?). The place was packed and delayed for seating, which was totally fine, I’m mentioning that to say that our server was outstanding despite how crazy busy it was! Overall, I’d try it again on a non-holiday.

I think management needs to re-think their reservations. It was absolutely crowded, kudos to the servers and bus boys they really had to do a lot of balancing squeezing through the crowd.

Over booked. There were too many people in the designated area. Took too long to receive spoons for soup (10 minutes). Our server (India) was excellent considering the number of tables assigned to her.

in 35 years, this was my 1st time eating out for thanksgiving dinner. When i walked in, it was very crowded in the lobby area, people waiting to check in. The hostess was very pleasant, greeted everyone kindly. We arrived 1/2 hour early. we were seated 10min later. Simone was our server with a warm and friendly smile. I enjoyed dinner.It was perfect! the presentation was fabulous! and was very delicious!! I look forward to having dinner there again.

Great Thanksgiving experience - wonderful spread and quantity of food and great service. We did have to wait 30 minutes once we checked in for our reservation which was unfortunate but it was extremely busy and everyone had to wait as well. Overall definitely recommend for a Thanksgiving dinner in the future!

I went to this location a few years ago for Thanksgiving and it was very good so I expected the same this year. Overall, the experience was not as good this time around. There did not seem to be any difference in terms of how busy they were from year to year but the quality of the food and timing between courses was not as good as a few years ago. However, I will say that the staff did as good of a job as possible in terms of giving each table adequate attention considering how super busy they were. I hope the staff was tipped very by all of the other tables as well.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner for our family of four. We really enjoyed it. Each course was amazing and what a great selection of desserts! Thank you, Founding Farmers. Will definitely return next year!

I don’t mind that the food is pricey, but it’s not worth it. Small portions, not much flavor, slow service.

A disappointing return to what one was a decent restaurant. Chaotic service: I ordered a burger (mediocre at best) and then waited 10 minutes and 3 requests before ketchup arrived. Side order or broccoli was barely edible. Wine was decent but that’s it.

We had a problem finding so we were about 2 mins over the 15 allowed. I rang and explained - the booking was remade for 1845 but the person answering the phone was very offhand. Incredibly noisy, not the place to go if you want to talk to someone. The Drunken Chicken came with what looked like large flat Italian pasta strips ( not mentioned on the menu Dish not that great either). I had twice cooked beef, that was good but lukewarm. Didn’t bother the staff as they were busy. Have eaten in the FF in Chicago and it was wonderful. This was very disappointing.

Food was great and the server when he was around was good. However, the server was hardly ever around. We asked for water refills but it came only after we were done with our meal. They were out of soy sauce ( would have been nice with a dash of soy sauce for the fried rice). Want to like this place, but they made it hard.

They kept us waiting (party of 8) for 40 mins despite reservation. The manager apologized and promised free drinks (which never were delivered). Most veggie meal options were not available. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was average/ok. It was very loud. Would not go there again.

We are pescatarian- no shellfish and generally their menu offers many options. We had a 5:30p reservation since we had a hockey game at 7. They were out of three of the entrees within a few minutes and two other items are made on same grill or fryer as shellfish. Very frustrating and disappointing but our server was wonderful and they did give us one entree at no charge.

Kitchen problems? Ordered Chicken Fried Steak and waffles - brought to table with a “ sorry we are out of maple syrup”. Well ok I suppose. Order pumpkin pie with whipped cream - brought to table with caramel sauce instead of whipped cream and a “ sorry we are out of whipped cream”. If you can’t serve what I order let me know first.

We got our table within 5-10 min of our reservation which is good considering it was very busy. The food was good and priced correctly.
