Fork & Fire
Fork & Fire implores a minimalist approach to cooking with a focus on the balance of flavors.
Fabulous food and great service! Wings were the best I’ve ever had!
Food was ok overall, some parts came out cold. Salmon was highly recommended, one order went back twice as the center was clearly raw. Server missed a meal but did make up for everything in the end.
Great drinks and craft beer. Stick to burgers at this place.
My husband and I both felt sick after eating the chicken bacon flatbread and they were out of the first three beers we asked for.
HAVE TO GO! Food was unbelievable. Staff went above and beyond and very personable. The atmosphere is calming, cool, hip. Celebrated my birthday and we are definitely going back. Great for date night, girls night, or night out with kids(boardwalk and play area right outside. They accommodated 20 of us easily!
they offer White/Red wine on tap, Sake on tap and the handcrafted cocktails were the best i have had!
A good experience overall in terms of food and ambience
Waited to get server for a long time after being seated ..
Drinks came out one at a time ...
Food took a long time to come out and then was wrong ..
Second round of drinks ordered as food arrived came when we received the check ...
We won’t go back !
There was no hostess and after finally sitting, we were never acknowledged for 20 mins. After looking around and seeing other tables with empty glasses and their menus still in front of them, we decided to leave. It’s really too bad since the menu looks amazing. Hopefully they will sort out the service issues and being able to accommodate a brunch crowd.
This is the third time we have been here. The first time was really good. The last two times have each taken over 1 hour to get our food. Both times the excuse is the kitchen is behind. Last time was a busy dinner rush. Today was during a slow brunch. They might have had 10-15 tables tops. No apology or manager to come talk to us. Just our waiter telling us the kitchen is behind. This seems to be the recurring theme of this restaurant. Today took 1 hour and 1 minute to get 2 flatbreads to our table. Management should be ashamed of their wait time and customer service.
Service was very poor, slow and felt like they weren’t even open. The host had to bust tables, he was not happy about that. Our waitress was talking to everyone else that worked there but us. We had to ask to order, get more water, ketchup etc. The food was overcooked, had no seasoning in anyone’s food and we had 4 people with us.
They won’t be there this time next year
Food was underwhelming for the price. Was hoping for more
This was our first visit and we were excited to try it out. Sadly the service was rather slow and the food was bland and lacked any palatable taste.
Very disappointing. The service was unbelievably slow. We were seated for almost 30 min before our order was taken. 75 minutes to get food. The food was horrible. The chicken was so overcooked it was almost like jerky. It was served with some sort of juice that was so bitter it almost hurt your tongue. They ran out of iced tea...how does that even happen. Salad was brought out with the meal. I had been looking forward to my first visit here for several weeks. Unfortunately it was my last.
Loved the service. The chicken wings are the bomb.
Cute little place.
Very slow to get food and drinks out. Then drink order wrong. It was freezing and they kept door rolled up after asking if it could be put down.
Very disappointing. They were dramatically understaffed with a single server and under-skilled in the kitchen (we had to send back 3 meals - something that we never do). They were also out of many items on both the food and bar menu. It's a really cool area and a good attempt at the concept (menu is nice along with design of space) - Just really poor execution. I hope they can get their act together soon or they won't be around much longer...
The Fig and Olive Crostini and Pastrami Eggrolls were amazing! The entrees were good, but not mind blowing. Service was a bit slow, but I really didn’t care after I got my Fiery Pineapple Margarita! I’d go back for the appetizers and drinks!
Don't have a host to have you seated. Not sure who our server was as couple of them are involved including the bar tender. May be outdoor may be more better while weather is good
Food was very good. Our server was painfully slow and didn’t follow up on requests. I observed other servers to see if it was an atmosphere thing or a server specific thing. It was server specific.
Had a good business lunch at Fork & Fire. I enjoyed the food very much
Either the owner or a manager talked with me for a few minutes. He was kind and knowledgeable. I had taken my staff there and when he found out we were part of a church, he gave me a few gift cards to give to needy folks. It was very thoughtful and unexpected. I really appreciate the gesture and will return to eat here.
Took forever to get soup, salad and a hotdog. 50 min and the waitress never checked on us or came to apologize for how long things were taking. Not the greatest experience.
Great location and atmosphere. But ultimately isn’t it great food we seek when we go out to eat. The menu is creative and enticing. Regrettably the delivery from the kitchen was lacking flavor. Find the salt and seasoning. Get braver and confident with the menu you’ve created and you’ll have something that brings people back. Back for the food. For the environment and the experience. For now, it’s a convenient and cool location.
The food was fresh and delicious. We tried the salmon and the tuna. Both were exceptional. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. I recommend this place for lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
Everything is fresh and delicious! We talked with the chef and he made a sauce for my mom with out Serrano peppers. It is a place for good conversations and amazing food! It’s one of those places you have to try for yourself. If you like fresh food and a laid back atmosphere this is the place!
Food was good but we could not figure out what the restaurant was trying to be. Service was not the best but is appeared other servers were better and more attentive.
Delicious, fresh food and great service. Our server (Green) was very helpful and attentive. We’ll be back - too many interesting things on the menu.
Birthday dinner.- nothing special and out of A LOT of items both food and beer. Restaurant was almost empty so thought service would be more attentive. Had to ask for water and other requested items several times. Not even celebratory towards large family out for bday dinner and only interaction with chef was to explain why they were out of so many things (supposedly a busy lunch crowd-ah huh) wanted to like as sounded delicious but items like smoked chicken sandwich was cold, not smoky, overdone and bun overpowered sandwich. Ate off the bun but didn’t finish and a waste of calories! Smoked old fashion was watered down and still on half glass, not impressed with flavor as it was lacking and also not smoked. Wouldn’t go back and we all said, sadly, we will see how long it lasts.
Awesome place - absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. I had the house-made pastrami - delicious. 2 of us had fried chicken sandwich and loved. Chicken 'burger' was great. All the fries were good. Good inexpensive wine selection. Observed the kitchen staff cutting tuna steak from a giant slab of tuna and I can't wait to go back and try that myself. Service was great . Our server, Green, was new, but seemed like a seasoned server. Kyle, the manager, made sure to check on us several times to ensure Green was doing a good job.
Really looking forward to going back here many times in the future.
Good food and good service and a great location. Nice patio also
Jason was outstanding as was our total dining experience. We will definitely be back!!!!
Great holiday lunch! Loved our server Caleb!!
Outstanding food and service. Was very pleased with everything we ordered. Easy to tell quality ingredients go into making the food. Even drinks were top notch. Already planning next visit as there were lots of things on the menu we wanted to try.
Great experience at Fork and Fire. Grilled cheese and tomorrow basil hit the spot for an appetizer on a cold evening.
Hanger and Wagyu steaks were both delicious and well prepared.
Service was great.
The food was excellent and all the staff was welcoming, friendly and spot on. We will definitely eat there again and again!
Great service by Caleb. He was informed about all the dishes and made recommendations. The food is fresh, properly portioned and served in a timely manner. The menu is eclectic and our group of four looks forward to returning soon for another outing.
The food and service were both amazing.! Our server was hands down the best.
Birthday. The service was so bad, our waiter barely waited on us, another server did a majority of the heavy lifting with our table. While I appreciated her, I was very dissatisfied with the service OUR assigned waiter provided.
It was a chilly night so we chose to sit inside. However we were seated next to an open window and it was cold. We both wore our coats the entire meal. They were out of their signature pineapple margarita, so I was very bummed, and had the okay regular margarita. The signature wings are covered in sauce. The sauce is good but there’s so much of it, you lose the flavor of the chicken. I got the street tacos and they were excellent. The restaurant is on the boardwalk and it’s great for a date night.
The food was good but nothing spectacular. The staff was friendly but seemed a little disorganized. We had three different waiters try to take care of us. Took a long time to get our drinks. Like the atmosphere on the boardwalk. Nice area.
