                                                                  It was our 1st time in this place . The waiting was not bad despite we were there 30 minutes early for our reservation time . The food was excellent. The salad bar was the best . Love it that they keep on coming the server and we tasted mist of the meat. The meat/ steak were superb. It was our daughters graduation celebration. The price was not bad at all fir all the continued meat keep on coming to our table. Our Main server was awesome as well… sorry forgot his name but he always asked how we’re doing and explained it well how it works dining there esp it was our first time. It was the best experience and we want to come back again … and ohhhhh they gave the best wine menu tooo!!!

                                                                  I’ve been to Fogo de Chao numerous times but only on the weekend. Previous experiences were always enjoyable and with quality service. Yesterday I received poor service from the waitress 5/10/22. I would not recommend going to this restaurant on a weekday. Service was slow and the choices of meat rotating around the restaurant take much longer compared to the weekend. We requested the beef rib and ribeye which took about 45 minutes. We also asked for a 2nd round of pão de queijo but never received it. The waitress gave us an excuse saying “ They are still baking the bread” while we noticed the newly seated tables around us were all receiving the bread. The waitress also made a comment about a piece of medium rare lamb on my plate saying “ isn’t that the ribeye?” I replied , “No this is lamb.” Waitress replied, “ No It isn’t. Lamb is a white meat” I had to laugh off that comment. When you spend 100$ for dinner and drinks per person you shouldn’t have argue about what is on the plate. She must have been having a rough start to her shift. Besides the waitress the other staff were professional and courteous to my Group of 4.

                                                                  I tried to call the restaurant to discuss my concerns waited for 20 minutes to speak with assistant manager Rafael, I called the corporate office and was transfered to voice mail. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I waited 45 minutes to be seated with a reservation. There were so many people in the lobby that they were yelling for the customers to be seated. Once we were seated we were like a bunch of sardines in a can sitting on top of each other. The noise level was unbelievably disruptive with all of the customers there. We had to keep on asking for service the meat was either dry or raw when served to you on skewers. The service staff tried but in this situation there was no hope. Extremely poor experience. I have been to the Los Angeles restaurant it is like day and night. So sad to see since I am now a resident of San Diego. No one from corporate returned my call and I couldn't hold after 20 minutes of being on hold for Rafael.

                                                                  Wasn’t the best experience. Was called to sit down, walked to out table to realize another waitress sat other people down. Moved back out to the front waited another 15 mins after waiting an hour. Finally, sat down….. overpacked and overbooked. People were sitting shoulder to shoulder and you barely could move in the restaurant. Was served bottle sodas so no free refills unless you order tea. Which you would think you get free refills paying over $60 for your dinner. The sirloins and the pork ribs came around a lot. But, we had to ask multiple times for petite filet, bacon wrapped chicken/steak and beef ribs. Sadly, those were the last to come out. No dessert options in their buffet. But, you could order dessert. Bill was $185 with tip. Note: don’t make a reservation on a holiday because you will still have to wait 45 mins plus. Plus, the floor was really dirty, with all the people in the restaurant there was food and trash on their carpet and their bar floor was stinky. Not the best experience I’ve had.

                                                                  Do not go on Mothers Day. I understand it is a holiday and treat mama to something nice but overcrowded and annoying like a southwest flight. Fogo de Covid that day, too crowded and cannot even walk comfortably to the buffet spread. I would rather have sat outside and got the full experience of DT SD’s sewer smell and pollution. Meats are always on point. Long rotation for meat selections and server did not offer all the time. You had to flag them down. Sit closer to the kitchen so you can flag down all the meat servers. Server was negative stars, if you have to apologize three times for not being attentive then don’t apologize at all, fake. Shout out to the mother and daughter team for really hustling and grindin on Mother’s Day. We hope the cash tip got to you and not the server.

                                                                  Maybe it was just the table we were seated at, but the noise and CONSTANT motion coming in and out that kitchen and watching the workers damn near run each other over did not make the best dining experience. The NY strip steak and Ribs were delicious. If we do return, definitely will request seating far AWAY from that damn kitchen. They need a better and safer set up for entering and exiting that kitchen, someone’s going to get hurt.

                                                                  We couldn't ask for a better first experience! I had an issue before going and I called ahead and spoke to the Manager Humberto. He came up with a great solution to accommodate us. When we arrived on Mother's Day the assistant manager Mike escorted as well as helped my family get to the table (1 person in our party in wheelchair and 1 almost 94 years old). Unfortunately, I was parking the car and missed it ( My wife let me know). I don't understand how anyone could ever have any negative review for this restaurant because we were treated as honored guests. Mike brought Humberto over to the table where I was able to shake his hand and thank him personally for accommodating us. Every few minutes Mike came around to see if we needed anything and always got it taken care of even if he did it himself. The food was to die for! It was fresh, clean, and organized at the market table. The meats were coming so fast I was getting another portion before I finished the last one that was working on. I had to pass several times because I like to eat it while it's still warm and juicy. The hardest part was choosing which one we wanted next. The cheese bread and caramelized bananas were really good too. We really enjoyed the prepared cheese with honey but couldn't eat too much because we were all at our limits. All of the staff does a great job under Humberto's lead. I never realized how big the restaurant was until I was inside. One person in our reservation was unable to make it in time so Mike brought his beautiful wife both inside and outside to take the order near the end of our experience. The order came in perfect time for us to leave. In closing all I can say is we will definitely be back!!! If you want to have a memorable dinning experience Fogo de Chao will make it happen. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!!

                                                                  I enjoyed the experience, however, the hostesses seemed very stressed out and were not able to hide that from patrons - very little smiling, not a very welcoming entrance. From there we waited for a few minutes (which is normal in high volume restaurants regardless if you have a reservation or not). The food was quite good, the quality of the meats and sides was high. They didn't bring out meats as often as I would have liked for a Churrasqueria or as big as variety. We had to continuously ask for additional meats and more variety as they only brought out picanha. I think if they worked on their welcoming and had more frequent and authentic Brazilian style Churrasco being brought out I would have given five stars.

                                                                  Worst experience I’ve ever had a restaurant reservation. Had a 6:15 reservation and wasn’t seated until 30 min later. Waited for our seats. Food was completely mediocre. All of the meat was over cooked and had no flavor. Tried 10 out of the 16 cuts and 9/10 were completely inedible and the last one was barely passable. Literally better steak in your $3 street tacos than the $70 experience here. Bad service, bad ambiance, sides were as mediocre as the meat. Didn’t touch anything and if I wasn’t on a date I would have gotten up and left. The main experience and two bottles of water (1 still and 1 sparkling) ended up being over $150. I’ve never paid so much such utterly garbage food. The generic salad bar was by far the most I ate out of the meal. It’s only because it’s pretty hard to mess up sliced tomatoes and grilled asparagus. Overall, avoid this restaurant and this whole chain.

                                                                  Had reservation but place was very busy and took 20 mins to be sat. Servers did their best to greet us and got us drinks. Took 30 mins for first meat option to come by. Only 3 total came by in 1 hour. Server tried to get a few more options to come by, she did amazing. I understand it gets busy but for the price, I was left disappointed.

                                                                  Flew down from norther California for a birthday celebration at the restaurant. Bar service was great. Host was rude and disrespectful with a reservation. The server came to our table maybe 3 time. Too many people not enough staff and food was cold by the time the meat came around.

                                                                  There was a short girl in a blue sweater that worked the front desk greeting guest. She did an outstanding job despite having a very busy evening rush. Party’s of 16, 9, 11 didn’t stop her from answering peoples concerns and maintaining great presentation of her professionalism.                                                                   Had a wonderful dinner celebrating a birthday! Staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. Food was delicious, and the side items bar had a good variety of salads, meats, fruits, etc. Our server Kiersten (sp?) and other bussers and meat servers (I didn’t get all their names) were all very sweet and made the experience pleasant. The main downside was that we unfortunately didn’t get all the meats that were on the menu for the Churrasco Experience. We did request an item multiple times from multiple staff, but it never came. It was a busy Saturday night with multiple events in downtown, so my guess is that contributed to some of the meats never reaching our table? However, the manager, Rafael, kindly spoke with us and generously compensated us. He was understanding, and we very much appreciated him coming over and taking the time to speak with us. While there were some hiccups in the experience, overall everyone appeared to enjoy their meal and have a wonderful birthday dinner. Will definitely come back maybe on a less busy night (or lunch) to enjoy the Churrasco Experience again!
